Brent was was a subcontractor on our condo renovation a year ago (Sept -Dec 2020) He installed our kitchen, bathrooms, a built in entertainment unit and closets. Unfortunate he left the job unfinished. He did not make the guest bathroom cabinets to my specifications (he neglected to write them down or make drawings for them like he did for most other installations). I had said wanted an open shelf at the bottom of the recessed cabinet beside the sink so that opening the door would not knock things off the counter. A second cabinet for above the toilet was supposed to match but be deeper to have a place to store larger bottles. When the cabinets came, the door went right to the bottom which was counter height, and the cabinet for above the toilet was only 4 inches deep. I was present when they delivered all the cabinets and immediately rejected the bathroom cabinets so they were never installed. It has been a year and the project remains unfinished. I have a great big ugly gaping hole on my wall still. He has said that his current projects are taking priority. Also after a year, the paint is not holding up on the kitchen cabinets, and a drawer front on a built in entertainment unit is splitting.

Worked with Brent Colclough and his outstanding staff for our kitchen renovation. Brent came up with the final, perfect design solution after our contractor Bradshaw had worked with us on many great ideas. Every idea was incorporated into the final product, from colour/s to finish to type of drawer / lift-up doors, to make the most efficient use of available space. All the work was completed as scheduled. Our new kitchen is totally functional, spacious, bright, sleek, modern, just the way we imagined. Colclo worked very well with and around the many Bradshaw tradespeople. Installation was swift, very clean and follow-up visits for additional ideas were prompt and cheerful. The staff is very competent, always calm, effective and open to any questions we had during the design/production/installation periods. We would love to work with them on future cabinetry projects.

I worked with Colclo on the design of a custom kitchen for my client. Colclo built and installed the cabinetry within the timeframe they committed to at the outset. I was extremely please with the service and the quality of the craftmanship. Brent takes pride in his work and it shows. Every little detail is attended to and he quickly responds to email and phone call. Of most importance to me is the interaction Colclo has with the clients. Colclo designed and installed custom kitchen cabinets and gave us the dream kitchen we always wanted. This involved the creation of an entirely new footprint, since we gutted the existing kitchen/dining/family rooms to create an open concept, eat-in kitchen. From the design stage through to the finishing touches, Brent and his team drew upon their many years of experience and attention to detail to deliver a high quality finished product on budget. We were building a new home and hired Brent of Colclo Custom Woodworking to design and construct our kitchen. Brent met with us and our architect and carefully noted our long wish list and helped us get a handle on our personal style. (I thought our taste was modern, but it turns out we like transitional style!) The preliminary drawings were magnificent, but exceeded our desired budget. I was so impressed with how hard Brent worked to retain our wish list items and pare the budget down for us, with creative suggestions that would still capture the look and function we were after! The final result is so beautiful and the workmanship is phenomenal! Every detail has been meticulously attended to and we couldn't be more pleased! The Colclo team worked respectfully and conscientiously with the other trades for a smooth installation process and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
