The Crafted Wild team is a pleasure to work with and was instrumental in helping transform our dream kitchen. Kyle, Kornel, and their team did a wonderful job. We learned about their business through Houzz and not from a personal recommendation, but after my first conversation with Kyle, I felt that I was in good hands with their service.

We worked with Kornel, Kyle, and their design team for nearly two years. We recently completed a gut rehab of our 1904 home - CraftedWild were excellent through the process. Portions of the project were highly unique and they leaned into the challenge. A full kitchen, bar area, five baths, two closets. Design: They listened to our vague descriptions, sat through rounds of feedback sessions, and kept iterating with us until we loved the plan. Build: They built exactly what we wanted and the quality is frankly higher than I had hoped for. While the build portion of the process took longer than promised both Kyle and Kornel communicated the delay and worked hard to fix the problem and make up in other parts of the project. Installation: CraftedWild used three teams to complete the installation. All the teams worked very professionally. Some are more efficient and quicker than others that are more craftsmen/artists but each is quiet, clean, and on time. When we noticed little issues with install or product they returned quickly to fix - without complaint/comment/issue. True professionals.

The Crafted Wild team spent time with us discussing finishes in their shop, and went through multiple renderings and drawings to make sure we got everything right. They are able to customize and be flexible, and advise when a detail or finish will work better in their shop or our home. They also recommended an installer who was very professional and skilled at a great price!

CraftedWild excel in both quality and follow through. Kornel and Kyle are easy to work with and truly care about providing quality cabinetry solutions. They made it easy to work through cabinet functions and hardware, and went the extra mile to help utilize storage space in surprising places. We worked through details for a custom flip top bench, tall and shallow spice cabinet, and a hidden microwave nook where the door opens and then slides completely out of the way. They are equally adept at executing custom designed pieces as they are at standard cabinet configurations. At install, they took care to ensure it all looked great and performed as intended. Highly, highly recommended!

We loved working with the crew at CraftedWild! Without having a designer and doing it on our own, we were very nervous about putting together the kitchen and primary bathroom of our dreams - as well as being taken advantage of. But that was not at all the case with CraftedWild. Allison was so patient with all our questions and indecision during the design process, and Kyle and Kornel were great with answering questions and follow up during the build/installation process. The quality of the Walnut kitchen cabinets and more cost-effective option presented for the bathroom laminate exceeded our expectations, and we constantly receive compliments on how everything turned out. When a couple minor things came up, they were quick to come up with a solution and were able to coordinate with our contractor to resolve quickly. They also recommended the contractor we used (Big Brothers Development), as well as the stone company for countertops (StoneLux) and we are so happy that we trusted their referral because we had an overall great experience with everyone! I am an interior designer and deal with a lot of different vendors, contractors, and subcontractors. I appreciated working with Kyle because he was very communicative and professional throughout the process, and delivered exactly what (and when) he said he would. There were no surprises, delays, or anything that he didn't communicate with me from the beginning. Oh yeah, and the pricing was very fair for the work provided. I look forward to working with them again.

I can't even begin to tell you how much we love our new built in wall unit for the living room and the wall unit we added to the master bedroom. From the first time we met with Kyle and Kornel we had a sense that we were dealing with professionals. Their work ethic in showing up on time, answering e-mails and moving the project along were incredible. Alex one of the main installers was also amazing. He was very detail oriented. When he was finished installing the cabinets they looked they had always been there--not just added after the fact. We loved working with CraftedWild Cabinetry and can't wait for our next project with them!

Few words to summarize my experience: Transparent, Assistive, Expert. I had a damage as a result of pipe leak in my kitchen and had damage to my cabinets, which needed replacements. Kyle understood the assignment and the many follow up questions I had. He made himself available and took out the time to educate me about my options. This is by far some of the best experience I have had in my 6 years owning, and I would recommend them solely based on their attitude. While, our project wait times and scope did not align this time around, I am sure if an opportunity presents, I would pick CraftedWild in the future.

The folks from Crafted Wild were excellent to work with! They walked us through the details needed to finalize the design concept that we had begun. They were proactive from the start, and kept the project moving, providing schedule updates as needed. Through construction, they coordinated with the installer and made sure things came together. They gave our relatively small project their full attention! The picture is at around 90% complete.

Our whole experience with CW was great! I would say a kitchen remodel could be the most inconvenient and stressful room to remodel in a house but, CW really helped make things go as smooth as possible. As in every project there is unforeseen issues but Kornel and Kyle were quick to help us come up with a solution. When we purchased a Mid-Century Modern gem designed and built by the original owners in 1963 in Wheaton, we expected remodeling would be necessary. Nothing had been touched and the original kitchen was tight and non-functional for today's lifestyle. Close friends recommended CraftedWild who designed and installed their kitchen. Their endorsement was valuable as we were impressed with the workmanship. Our initial contact was via phone with Kyle. He was actually interested in our business.....very refreshing since we had met with another contractor who wanted to upsell our project and saw many challenges. We outlined our cost objectives and Kyle said I think we can meet them, so let's schedule a meeting and discuss your goals in greater depth. This began our several month journey and friendship with this dynamic duo, Kornel and Kyle. It is important to note that my husband and I had never embarked on a 're-do'. We are both perfectionists and making decisions on a room to be taken down to the studs was daunting. Our goal was to keep the MCM vibe and we leaned heavily on Kornel for this guidance as he sifted through many saved posts and photos I directed his way from Houzz' website. His quiet and thoughtful manner kept us on track. He always conformed his schedule to our availability, often after business hours due to our work commitments. Always upbeat with good humor and a 'can do' attitude, this alliance was a win-win situation. His patience with our indecision elevated him to sainthood in my opinion. The blueprints were redrafted several times over but resulted in a final product we all felt 'checked the boxes'. Kornel interfaced with the various contractors involved in our project which further aided in a smooth process. The end result is a beautiful MCM kitchen that we LOVE! My entry here is long overdue, life took over, but we are compelled to give CraftedWild our highest praise and recommendation. Attention to the smallest details and commitment to customer satisfaction is what elevates Kornel and Kyle to a whole new level. We hired the CraftedWild team to design, build, and install cabinetry and shelving in our living room. Kyle was our first point of contact and was responsible for getting our project up and running. We then worked with Katrina to explain our thoughts for the space and ultimately design our unit. She quickly picked up on our general guidance and delivered a proposal and digital rendering that hit exactly what we were looking for. She was even kind enough to provide a tour of their fabrication shop and show material samples that we were able to choose from. After the floating cabinetry and shelves were built from scratch, Kornel and his father completed delivery and installation over the course of two days. They were both professional, very friendly, and took great care of our home and general workspace. They were very meticulous with the installation and the final product was perfect. The materials are extremely high quality, the craftsmanship is top notch, and the entire CraftedWild team was an absolute pleasure to work with.

The entire CraftedWild team was amazing. Kornel's attention to detail is superb. He is at all times cordial, calm, professional and helpful, even when faced with many questions and changes throughout the design process. I met Alison in the initial consultation and she is delightful. Kornel's dad and another gentleman (I think his name was Manny) did a beautiful job with the installation, and Kornel and his dad completed the finishing touches. They were so kind about doing a last minute change to the built-in bookcase so that it could accommodate my cookbook collection. Kyle was a pleasure on the administrative side of things. The whole team was wonderful and the cabinets are beautiful. I love the natural finish on the rift-cut oak. It is a beautiful, modern, warm, and highly functional kitchen. We contracted CraftedWild for the custom-made decorative in-wall bookshelf, shoe and coat storage solutions, and master closet. Everything was done perfectly. Kornel was detailed-oriented and absolutely amazing during the design process. Their installation service was top-notched and worth every single dollar. Their pricing is reasonable, and they were wonderfully responsive. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Photos don't even to justice to how great the fireplace looks that Kornel & Team built for us. We had worked with Kornel previously in the year on a custom cabinet project for under our stairs, and had asked if they would be able to help with our dream of building out & recessing an electric fireplace. Despite the fact that fireplace builds are not CraftedWild's specialty, the team executed better, with more creativity and at a better final price than all of the contractors we had quoted out. Kornel is a true craftsman, and has proven time and time again that he will come up with the best / right solution. We are in love with the final product, and on top of that the project was completed quickly, allowing for installation before Thanksgiving where we could enjoy the fireplace with friends & family as we hosted the holiday.

Right off the bat Kornel (unlike other contractors / professionals) was able to give me a rough estimate quote and talk through project at a high level... showing his expertise and also realness / likability, like this is the kind of person / team you want to hire and feel comfortable bringing into your home. Kornel and his team built this awesome custom under the stair cabinet for us from mere idea to reality, including accommodating special builds to house dog food bins / accessories for our dogs - something we were desperate for not having much storage. We love it so so much, it has made a huge impact on the feel and functionality of our home. Final note, they accommodated our schedule and actually built the cabinets out while we were out of town - it was so awesome to leave with something crappy and to come home to this. We recently used Kornel and team for a remodel of our new home in Chicago (new wet bar in the basement, re-modeled kitchen, etc). They were absolutely fantastic. Amazing job guys! They went above and beyond. Many contractors just want to get the job done as quickly as possible but these guys made sure to do the BEST job! As someone in the real estate and design field, I know what a nightmare construction can be if the wrong contractors are on a project. The CraftedWild team executed my design flawlessly and were very willing to work with my personally sourced materials. They engineered a seamless way to hang 130 year old wooden shelves to ensure their longevity and make them modern and sleek. The team also built custom cabinetry as an addition an installed wooden feature wall. All in all, the project looks great and was very easy to get from day one to the finish line.

Project: Contemporary with a Splash of Modern CraftedWild did an excellent job on our complete kitchen remodel project. They worked closely with us every step of the way... from giving us great design suggestions which we hadn't thought of prior to their consultation, to working through some unexpected finds (replacing old corroded drainpipe), going above and beyond (replacing a plywood sub-floor), along with matching the floor height of new tile to be level what that of existing hardwood floor. We ended up opting with their design suggestion having the extra storage space and convenient cabinet solutions we needed to make the most of the space which their team executed with precision craftsmanship. We are now proud to have a completely modern and open-plan cooking space that blends well into both our dining and living quarters. We highly recommend working with CraftedWild!

CraftedWild was BY FAR our favorite sub-contractor of a gut rehab for the kitchen/powder room/first floor in our 1940s home! The project was quite the undertaking, but the guys at CraftedWild and their custom cabinetry made it all well worth it. Kornel and Kyle built a custom kitchen and a gorgeous fireplace mantel for us. They were very professional, and took great care to understand exactly what we wanted. They put together a quote and mock up of the kitchen that was very detailed. We were able to see exactly what we were getting and make tweaks to the design during the process. They delivered our kitchen on time and even came back to make sure everything was installed perfectly (I would recommend you have them install because they are perfectionists).
