Crown Point Cabinetry

Purchased custom built (all walnut) cabinets ( their high end line) for my kitchen at a cost of $23,000. At the same time my brother had Rhutt cabinets installed in his kitchen (also a custom job). I was able to compare the quality and workmanship of both and I will tell you that the Crown Point cabinets leave much to be desired and at comparable prices take a back seat to Rhutt cabinetry. My biggest complaint Is the drawer and door tolerances on the Crown Point cabinets. The spacing between the frame and drawers/doors is too wide and gives the cabinets a “sloppy appearance.” Even after proper adjusting, the gaps are still too wide. Overall all, when you spend over 20k on custom cabinetry you expect a certain degree of precision and attention to detail. Unfortunately, Crown Point fell short on both counts and I cannot recommend them as a high end custom cabinet maker..

This project was our second with Crown Point, albeit done 25 years apart. Our kitchen designer there was Patty Fazio, who proved invaluable in the process of editing and refining our ideas. She was simply fabulous to work with, and there is no doubt that a lesser talented designer would not have come up with those little details that make all the difference. We visited their facility and were blown away by the teamwork in evidence. That work organization goes a long way to explain the excellence of the finished product. While Crown Point is perceived as a more expensive choice, we felt the pricing was extremely fair and the value for money outstanding. We received a discount for visiting the facility, well worth doing if you live in New England. Patty was also excellent at helping us stay within budget while giving us our dream kitchen. It has now been completed a couple of months, and we get daily joy out of cooking and living in that wonderful space. Finally, we also had the world's tiniest powder room cabinet made by Crown Point to fit a very little sink. Adorable, and so functional! Thank you Crown Point team!

One month after moving into our new house because our custom kitchen cabinet had not been properly installed, it fell out of the wall. The customer service provided by Crown Point, and specifically, Dedra Templeton, has been INCREDIBLE. First, we shipped the broken pieces to VT from VA to be fixed, which was done quickly and at no cost. We then realized we were missing the hardware, which Crown Point priority shipped to us complimentary. Not only are their cabinets gorgeous and high quality, but the customer service is fantastic. Could not recommend more highly. They did not have to provide any of this service to us, let alone at no cost, but they did. We could not be more appreciative.

New Dimension Construction recently worked with Crown Point Cabinetry on a very large custom project. The kitchen and bar were made from antique quarter sawn oak. The vanities and armoires were constructed from antique chestnut. The quality is excellent and the design team a pleasure to work with. We are very glad that we found a great trade partner!
