We had a most satisfying experience working with Dean's. We came in to get a comparison to what we were working with from other cabinet vendors. After meeting with their design team we came away with a comfort level that this is who we'd like to work. With Dean's quote being very competitive it was an easy choice for us to move forward with them. Every step of the process was explained thoroughly, all of their deadlines were met, and their install team had no problems with a couple challenges our 275 year old house had waiting for them. We had a wonderful experience with Dean Cabinetry and highly recommend them for kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, built-ins, and any other cabinetry project. Dean Cabinetry helped bring an amateur concept that we created to life with a design that was functional and simplistic but comprehensive and stunning. From our initial interview with Jenny to being placed with Paul for the design and construction to the delivery and install team, we were very well cared for. Being unfamiliar with construction and remodeling, we had many questions that ranged from budget to install to technical terms. They were patient and understanding and helped us to understand each stage without ever rushing us or making adjustments to the cost. They walked through the semi and custom levels with us to make sure we understood all our options and at each price point. When we were not able to find the door design we wanted, they created it and it is simply perfect. Paul was tremendously supportive in his efforts to make sure our new kitchen worked for our family's day-to-day life. He found a way to incorporate our "wants" with our "needs" so that our kitchen, which is open but not necessarily large, is a space we enjoy and use effectively. Our installer, Leandro, and install coordinator, Matt, were patient and thoughtful with explaining on-site decisions such as door adjustments and hardware placement. They also helped rework a challenging situation with a downdraft vent that was incorrectly measured and made sure our design's integrity was not compromised. The Dean team are true professionals that carry out the value of independent businesses who truly put customers first. They were on time, thorough, problem-solved when issues arrived, and supported us through the largest and most challenging project we have taken on. They are also incredibly sweet and friendly and it is obvious that they genuinely love the work they do and care for their employees. We would highly recommend them and hope to see their business continue to grow.

I'm very happy to write this review of Dean Cabinetry because of the level of care and quality of product we got for the renovation of our kitchen. I wanted, and got, a custom kitchen! Amazingly I was not able to get this from others that we considered. If I had started with Dean Cabinetry I would have saved an enormous amount of time and heartache. For those considering their services, you'll note that they have a well laid out process that makes the renovations efficient, productive and no surprises. Further, costs are explained up front and are very reasonable especially for a full custom kitchen. In our case specifically, when I met with Paul the first time he took accurate notes and was able to deliver pretty much what I was looking for with the first design plans. In fact, Paul knew what I needed for certain items before I did, and I had put four years of thought into my kitchen. I got the kitchen that I wanted, rather than the kitchen that others wanted to give me....there's a big difference there. I found constant collaboration on the fine details as well. ALL of their staff that we worked with were extremely respectful of our home and it's contents (even taking their shoes off at the point of measuring and followup). The respect given included the gentlemen that delivered the cabinets before installation all the way through the installers. Jay was the main person on installation and his attention to detail was exceptional; because I was my own general contractor (inexperiened and naive) there were a few items that I had not considered and in the end Jay was able to fix them real-time for a beautiful result. Once the kitchen was complete, Leah came for the followup visit for feedback. In all my life I have NEVER had a contractor come back for followup feedback and this is a sign that they care and want to continue improving. FInally, it was very important that my renovations be completed within a certain timeframe due to my work situation and they delivered on that too! Bottom line: don't waste your time going elsewhere if you desire a custom kitchen because you will not do better than using Dean Cabinetry. If you follow their process, which is actually very well thought out, it will make your experience even better.

Where to begin?! We completed a new build about 1 1/2 years ago and could not be happier with the results. Not only did Dean Cabinetry design our kitchen cabinets, they did our bathrooms as well. Living in New England makes it a bit of a challenge finding contractors that understand and can visualize a contemporary or modern design, but I found a gem in Dean Cabinetry. John, the owner, has an amazing eye and took the time to sit and discuss and "dream" with me on what my space could actually look like and what could be achieved. The process was seamless, from beginning to end, never leaving me with unanswered questions or loose ends. The installation crew was professional and upbeat at all times, which shows how invested they are in their craft and the pride they feel in their job and role as part of the team at Dean Cabinetry. A++++ no matter your style or taste, they are hands down the best!

The process of building a new home is daunting. Many decisions have to be made in a very short amount of time. Leah Dean made the decision process regarding kitchen and bathroom cabinets very simple. The quality and appearance of all the cabinets is excellent. Where Dean Cabinets really shines is in their customer service. Shortly after we moved in we were contacted by Dean to see if everything was ok. They were the only trade company that reached out to us. We did have some very minor issues and when the young man from Dean arrived they were quickly and professionally fixed. We had two cabinet doors that, when fully opened, touched another cabinet or appliance. He offered a quick permanent fix. I would not hesitate to recommend Dean Cabinets to anyone interested in quality products, installation and service.

We did a total redo of the 1960’s kitchen in our new home. EVERYTHING came out, We worked with Paul to create a kitchen of my dreams. He did not disappoint. Paul was a pleasure to work with… he listens and delivered! His years of experience and attention to detail resulted in a kitchen beyond what I hoped. The installation of the cabinets did not disappoint as well. Level to the nth degree. If a piece had the slightest defect, it was not used. Would highly recommend Dean Cabinetry !

“Hmmm … if we were to completely gut and rebuild our kitchen, who can we trust to help turn our vision into reality?” When we asked this question of our contractor, without hesitation he suggested Dean Cabinetry. His logic was that the quality of their materials, the craftsmanship of their installers, and their overall Customer Service was 2nd to none. He was right.

My husband and I worked with Dean Cabinetry in Bolton, CT during the construction of our new home. From our first meeting with owner and designer, Leah Dean, it was clear that our project would be in good hands. Leah was prepared, professional, and knowledgeable. She was ready with the layout of our kitchen and bathrooms so the process went very smoothly. In addition, Leah met with us post installation to discuss the finished project. I am not sure there are enough words to convey how much we absolutely love the cabinets we received from Dean Cabinetry. From start to finish they helped us turn our West Hartford house into our forever home! We were first introduced to Dean by our contractor Jason Levesque who recommended them over all other cabinet companies in the area. After our first meeting with Leah we knew this was who we wanted to go with. She listened to all of our wants/needs and took the time to really understand the look we were going for as well as the budget we had in mind. She then led us to Paul who helped us with the design of our kitchen. We went with a semi-custom Kith-Eudora cabinet for our renovation. ( full kitchen and 2 baths) Paul was able to help us get that custom feel without breaking the bank or making us feel that we needed to spend more in order to get what we wanted. He even went above and beyond a month after we had placed our order when we decided we wanted to add a small pantry cabinet that he was able order and get in on time with the rest of the cabinetry. There was never a "that can't happen" attitude, it was always a "let me see how we can make that happen" attitude. He truly went above and beyond to make our cabinets everything we could have wanted. After designing and ordering with Paul, we then were introduced to Kevin with the install team. He explained exactly how the install would happen and all the details of what we needed to know and have in order for the install to take place. He was always readily available to answer any questions. On the day of install Keaton and his partner were beyond professional and very thorough, any issues that they saw they fixed right away or made sure to make note so that they could come back and fix it at a later date. There were so many little details that I would have missed if it were not for both of them noticing and taking pride to make sure that everything was perfect. Lastly, after the final punch list was reviewed and everything was fixed I was emailed by Kevin to make sure I was happy with everything and to also check up about a special partition I had mentioned to Keaton about in one of the cabinets. It was a little extra something that I didn't know if it was even possible to do, but Kevin asked me what I was looking for and said it was no issue and could have someone out there that day to make my dream kitchen complete. The whole team at Dean cabinetry is really just amazing from start to finish. They listen to their clients and truly take pride in all of their work. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out and can't wait to host the team for cocktails at our new 9 foot island!
