I was going to let this go but I recently received new Sherwin Williams samples from Samplize for color confirmation and it's clear my refrigerator panels are the wrong color. I have been dissatisfied with the workmanship ever since it was done in 2024. It was a sloppy job. When I met Frank in 2024 he arrived and criticized lots of things in our newly built house. Our new construction was a bad experience and we had begun trying to redo a lot of things. I thought he must be a perfectionist to see all these flaws on our first meeting. The refrigerator panels we hired him to do were an audition for future work, including cabinetry, floors, ceiling, etc. I told Frank that I was looking for other projects to be done. He seemed interested and gave up a lot of information. The delivery of the panels happened when my husband was home in July 2024. Frank accepted full payment and left 2 awful looking panels that were rubbing against each other. They looked as if they had primer, and no caulk around the trim. No hardware. I was in the car driving home from Cary and Frank was in and out before I could get here to meet him. I sent pictures to Frank immediately. Now the story was that the panels were up just "testing out the position." But he left them rubbing against each other and very unfinished! The color was not Pure White. They did not match the other cabinets. He said he tried getting a match although we told him the other cabinets were Pure White from our cabinet invoice. We got story after story and finally he picked the panels back up and we didnt get them back until October! My husband finally had to intervene to get Frank to finish our project. They had a little more paint on them and he said something about the finish of the topcoat made the color look different than the other cabinets. He gave me information for products to redo them. The Pure White sample from samplize matches the old cabinets perfectly but not Frank's refrigerator panels. I don't understand why he did 5 star work for others and dropped the ball for us. These panels don't look at all professional. The paint is cracking where the trim is applied and of course, the color does not match. I'm at least grateful that it was a small job to discover his lack of commitment to fine work. Friendly guy, but would not hire him again.

Frank did an amazing job blending an older maple kitchen with new drawers, cabinets and countertops. Frank went above and beyond to make every detail perfect. From the first meeting we knew he understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. Frank communicated with us and came exactly when he said he would. We are not new to renovating and building and have very high standards, Frank surpassed our expectations with skill good humor and diligence. I would highly recommend Deutch Designs. Happy to give references. JW

Deutsch Design manufactured a residential vanity to exact dimensions with all requested details. They produced a sturdy, professional looking piece. The delivery and installation was done without any interruptions to a work from home client. Promptly met the arranged appointments. The price was much lower than anticipated for such customized work. Very responsive to ongoing communications.

I was very happy with Frank's work. I did not want to remodel my entire kitchen, but my cabinets needed an update. Frank was able to remove all my cabinet doors and drawers, paint the cabinet boxes and manufacture new doors and drawers that met my high standards for quality construction and finish. Throughout the process, the kitchen was always immaculately cleaned at the end of the work day, which I appreciated. I also just liked Frank (and his helper) himself. He is responsible and responsive and someone you actually like having in your house! I recommend Frank and Deutsch Design and would happily use him again.

Frank was awesome. He got the job done VERY quickly with a tremendous amount of skill. Would definitely use him again Wayne & Susan

Frank installed new, custom cabinets in my kitchen. I have a very small kitchen, and Frank was able to suggest options that increased my storage space exponentially. He also designed the higher shelves in the cabinets with a mechanism that enables me to lower the shelf so that I can reach it without having to climb on something! Frank is very detailed oriented and creative and made suggestions that I had not thought about such as adding hooks for keys. I am very pleased with Frank's work and my beautiful new kitchen!

Frank Recker is a very dedicated and detailed person who takes pride in his job. His goal is to make sure the customer is happy. I would highly recommend Frank Recker to anyone who is looking to do repairs.

Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets are beautiful. Frank's attention to detail, his professionalism, his technical knowledge and skills--as well as his clear, concise communications--led to beautiful on-time finished installation. We experienced a very frustrating year working with a designer who was to deliver kitchen and bathroom cabinets; we were down to the wire with no product. We were introduced to Frank who came through with a miracle and got the cabinets built for us in time--going above and beyond reasonable expectations to make sure the cabinets were built and installed for final inspection and closing on new condo unit. Not only does Frank have technical knowledge and expertise but most importantly, he tells you what he will do and does exactly what he told you he would. We found Frank to be very honest and trustworthy. John S.

Frank did an excellent job installing my laundry cabinet. The quality of the cabinet is top of the notch. He made all the cabinets by himself with excellent qualities, and he guaranteed with every details. I'm very pleased with the results. And glad to have Frank install the cabinets for me. Would highly recommend Frank. And would hire him again for future projects.

Frank makes beautiful and functional cabinets. I had to make many decisions with a master bath and laundry room remodel. I gave him a general idea of the cabinets for the bathroom and left the details to him. And they are much more afforable tha retail. IF he has an idea or advice for your project, take it. He is creative, knows the ins and outs of remodeling any room or surface, and passionate about his work.

It's a priviledge to give Frank from Deutsch Design the highest of recommendations. Not only is he masterful in his carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills, but he had an innate vision of what would look professional while maintaining the ideas that I presented. I purchased a 1919 farmhouse in desperate need of repair and remodeling. My focus was on the kitchen and dining areas as a beginning. Frank was excited about the project from the first interview and was willing to listen to my desires to maintain the old farmhouse look while bringing the rooms up to date so they would be functional and appealing. He accomplished this with a sense of pride, experise, and positive attitude. At no time was I ever in doubt he would finish the work in a timely manner with the highest craftmanship. I feel fortunate to have chosen wisely from the six others I interviewed for the project. It's my experience that Deutsch design provides the best work with the most up-to-date knowledge and the finest craftmanship in the industry today.

We are so happy with Frank's work. He is remodeling two bathrooms as well as finishing off our kitchen and he is doing SUCH a great job! Clean, personable, full of great ideas - we have a lot of projects coming up and he is our "go to"!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Frank was a true professional. He was courteous, clean, reliable, listened to what we wanted, kept within the budget, communicated about the project as we moved along; and he would have met the project deadline if it weren’t for the corona virus! He is a master craftsman and also knows everything related to plumbing and electricity. Frank expects the best from himself and gives his best to his clients. We had a load bearing wall removed that allowed our family room and remodeled kitchen to become one large, open-welcoming space. Additionally , Frank designed and built us a beautiful kitchen table and ceiling light over the table. I would highly recommend Deutsch Design for your remodeling project. We love our new space!

We have been very pleased with the work Frank has done for us. The cabinets he built for our kitchen and our bathroom are beautiful. He did an excellent job taking out our bathtub and replacing it with a great shower. He was great at listening to our preferences, but has excellent suggestions whenever we asked for his input. He is very good about explaining what he will be doing and how much it will cost. He works in a very respectful manner - making sure you are not inconvenienced. The final product ended up being so much better than we imagined. We are already planning other jobs for Frank.

I hired Deutch Design to totally remodel my kitchen, laundry room and living room. We are so pleased with the results. Frank gave us great design ideas that were creative and brought those designs to life. Our kitchen now has custom made cabinets, soft close drawers, counter tops made from a beautiful brazilian cherry hardwood, and a 13.5 foot island in the middle. He also added speakers in the ceiling of the kitchen & dining room for music & television. The floors are an awesome tile that has a slate look to them. Frank took what was a messy laundry room and has transformed it into a well-organized area. We had a 500 sq foot living room addition built by a contractor. Frank built us a home entertainment center that is just over 20-ft wide. He installed a motor that allows the TV to descend into the cabinets when not in use & to lift up by remote control when we are ready to use it. He also built a surround sound system that has theater quality sound. He also built a beautiful fireplace mantel to match the entertainment center. We have been so pleased with the superior work by Deutch Design that we have already hired the company to build us a new fence and to install outdoor speakers on our back deck and patio. I highly recommend Deutch Design!
