Denny is a Blue Star wizard! We were having multiple issues with our oven and stove. He fixed them all and gave us some very helpful information and tips at the same time. I wish we would’ve called him sooner!

We have been very pleased with Denny Deveny's work. Over the years he has completed five major projects to our house plus constructing needed accessory pieces. First he transformed a plain room into a paneled library complete with a matching desk. Then he gutted our powder room and built a custom vanity to complement the new stained wood trim and molding. Next project was a custom arbor complete with Doric columns around our garage door. Then he gutted our kitchen and had to customized many aspects of the project. Finally the piece de resistance, Denny recreated 18th century paneling for a two story entryway with new staircase railing. He built a replica of a pedestal from the Getty Villa museum for the niche. Denny also accomplished an incredible feat by constructing metal frames to hold antique bevel glass to set into existing windows. Denny is a great problem solver and has the skills, expertise and willingness to bring a project to fruition. If you can provide a picture or crude drawing, he can create it for you.

We are beyond happy with the work Denny did for us! We needed some of our kitchen cabinetry modified to accommodate a much larger refrigerator. I was a bit concerned that matching the existing cabinetry might be challenging but he absolutely nailed it! His work was so good that you would never know it had been modified. We really couldn't be happier. He was great to work with from start to finish and I would absolutely recommend him.

Denny was recommended to us by a large appliance distributor in Portland. From the first meeting we knew he was who we wanted to use for our new Jenn-Air appliance package installation. He came to our home multiple times prior to delivery and installation, to ensure everything would go according to plan. Needless to say he didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend Denny to everyone and we will use him again when the time comes!

Denny helped me install my Bluestar drop in cooktop and range hood. He was extremely professional and kind, and he cleaned up his work area before leaving. He came highly recommended by Ferguson and after witnessing his work in person, I have no hesitation of recommending him to anyone. He is by far the best installer I have ever met.

Denny completed a complicated kitchen upgrade for me that included cutting granite, plumbing and installing 2 garbage disposals, a second dishwasher and trash compactor, cutting back the cabinets to accommodate the new dishwasher and compactor and installing a hot water dispenser. This job required multiple skills and was more complex than I initially thought including increasing the depth of the cabinets to accommodate the dishwasher and included multiple trade disciplines. I was also concerned that the cabinet doors match existing, which Denny assured me would be the case. They did and the remodel looks like existing. My wife and I are very pleased and highly recommend Denny to anyone looking for professional services and results. Denny did exactly as he said he would do, on time and on budget.

We bought a home which was "mostly" finished, but had a not-quite-right stove and a ventilation assembly that didn't work. What to do: what to keep, what to redo? It's not easy to find someone to troubleshoot someone else's work, particularly when dealing with a downdraft of uncertain design. Fortunately we found Denny, who identified both what was wrong and what could be kept in our installation. Denny is what you dream of in a contractor: He is highly skilled and experienced, is extremely responsive, and never leaves you wondering when your job is going to be scheduled. When he offers advice, you know he knows what he is talking about which is very reassuring. Denny arrives, installs your appliances, cleans up the mess, and follows up to check that everything is working as it should be. If all contractors were like Denny, the world would be a happier place and the process of renovating would be a lot less stressful and frustrating.

We have been stewing over replacing our stove and microwave for years. However, the project would be complex as it involved two ovens, removing a microwave and adjusting cabinetry. Denny was suggested to us by Ferguson's as a person to provide advice. During our first meeting, he suggested a double-oven set up he had seen in the showroom, which changed our plans. We followed Denny to the showroom, picked out the units, and scheduled him a couple weeks later to visit. Denny was on time, did excellent work, cleaned up, and even had coffee with us. Denny has done many projects for me and I have found him to be trustworthy, dedicated and a perfectionist - just what I wanted during construction. He was able to deal with other trades nicely and if there were any obstacles, he was able to work around. Great attitude and very honest!

Denny came to our new home and finished the trim on the cabinets and around the mirror in the master bath. He was careful and meticulous about making sure the work was done to our satisfaction. He is skilled at finish work and we would hire him in a minute if we have further finish carpentry to do!
