My husband and I recently did a remodel on our 1973 home. Upon recommendation by a friend, we met with Steve at his shop and went over our ideas for the layout of our new kitchen. Steve took our ideas and went above and beyond in providing us with professional advice on how to improve not only the functionality of the kitchen but also the appearance. Steve uses his expertise when advising his clients as if he were building it for his own home. His attention to detail and his overall workmanship was exemplary. My husband and I recently bought a house that was built in 2000. The house is gorgeous, however we knew that we wanted to do a complete remodel in the master bathroom and some built-in cabinets in the living room. A friend of mine recommended Steve with DMR Woodworks and I am so glad she did. He is definitely a Master Craftsman with attention to detail. We could not be any happier with our beautiful new cabinets. I would recommend Steve to anyone building or remodeling.

When we decided to remodel our kitchen, it also required us to remodel two connecting rooms in the process. Steve worked with us on our timing so we could make it all come together before he installed our beautiful cabinets. Steve also worked it out so I was able to have a pantry, the spice racks that I wanted which had to be customized, and he built a special island in wheels for us so I could have more storage and another work area. Since the kitchen was in between two rooms that we were also working on, we had to match the crown molding of the new cabinets so Steve ordered us enough crown molding to match for the other two rooms. I was extremely happy about the way my new kitchen turned out and people have told me they love my kitchen.

We were building our dream home and the plumber recommended DMR Woodworks to us. I knew I wanted and old world look for my main kitchen but I had no idea how to plan it out to be efficient and beautiful. Steve took my basic idea and took everything I wanted to a designer level. He also did a game room kitchen that would withstand teenagers but still created the look I wanted. We were so pleased with him that when we bought a beach condo that had been ruin by the hurricane we didn't hesitate to call Steve for that job also. When we have company walk in the condo the first thing they see is the kitchen and the first thing they ask is who did the cabinets. He also gave us tips that we did not think about when doing our bathrooms. Our daughter is left handed so he made all of her drawers for her make up vanity on the left hand side. She appreciates that every morning when she does her hair and make up. We will use him for any cabinet work we have done.

We were invited to the shop and reviewed previous jobs Mr. Rouse had done. We were impressed with the quality of work and the different designs to chose from and to help us consider what we wanted. His workmanship was outstanding, courteous, professional. We are very pleased with our cabinets.

How often do you meet a master craftsman who is not only a true professional but also has a wonderful sense of humor? We were so fortunate to work with Steve and his team when we built our contemporary house with European style cabinets in the open plan kitchen, living area, and bathrooms. Not only are the results stunning, but Steve did a great job at figuring our how he would approach some aspects that were unique to our design. The cabinetry truly makes a statemant in our dream home.
