Scott built custom cabinets for my kitchen. I recommend him highly, without any reservation. His work in top notch - very high quality and I think a very good "value" for money. He has attention to detail, which is necessary for this type of carpentry, and he has a very strong artistic eye. Scott built and installed beautiful, custom built-ins for our newly finished attic, including two bookcases and 18 doors for knee wall storage space. We hired Scott to build bookcases for either side of the fire place with a mantle in our family room. Scott was excellent to work with and really helped me and my husband come up with a classic design for the mantle and bookcases. Once the design was discussed he emailed sketches of what we talked about. He completed building the units in the time frame we discussed and the installation was flawless. Living in a 1920's colonial house, we didn't have much storage space. Scott built us closets on each side of a bedroom window and joined them with a window seat so the end product was a beautiful, custom-made wall unit with more closet and drawer space than I had even imagined. Scott provided outstanding workmanship, from design to implementation. He was thoughtful, paid attention to the smallest details, stayed on budget, and kept us looped in every step of the way. Scott Grusby has worked on several projects for me, and I can't say enough about the quality and beauty of his work. We initially hired Scott to build a fireplace surround and built in cabinet along one wall of our living room. It turned out really well, and looks amazing. He recently built cabinetry and cubbies in our mudroom and the result is transformative. We have so much more useful storage, and the room looks great (I think it is pictured on his website). I would definitely hire Scott again, and in fact look for opportunities to work with him given the quality and positive impact of his work.

Scott worked with my Design Collaborative to provide exceptional woodworking for the Cambridge Bike Shop merchant counter and product display islands. He was a great collaborator on this unique and somewhat unconventional project, and in the end was meticulous and exceeded our wildest expectations of the design. Wonderful work!

Scott did a wonderful job building our cabinets. He listened to what we wanted, gave some useful feedback on what he thought would look good, and was kind and professional throughout. Our cabinets are beautiful and sturdy and just what I wanted.

We initially hired Scott to build a custom vanity and cabinets for a bathroom remodel. This worked out very well as we were able to get exactly the features we wanted, and it was not significantly more expensive than buying prebuilt cabinets. Based on that work, we later hired Scott to build custom bookshelves in the living room. In both cases, Scott was able to understand our vision and suggest improvements. Both jobs were also completed in a timely manner. I will hire Scott again when I have a job.

We hired Scott to build two pieces of cabinetry for our bathroom remodel. We had a pretty clear idea of the style we wanted, but needed someone to iron out the details and bring it to life. Scott asked a lot of thoughtful questions, figured out where we were coming from and didn't try to steer us toward something we didn't want. He was easy to work with and reasonably priced priced/on budget. He also installed on time, even as we made various changes in size and counter-tops along the way. After a few years of abuse by our 6 and 2 year-olds, the cabinets look as good as the day they were installed.

Scott has done several projects for us. He built us a custom bathroom full wall vanity with storage cabinet with matching medicine cabinet and a custom walk in master closet. He was incredibly helpful and patient in the design phase, offering great ideas and options yet always respectful of our needs and aesthetic. The quality of his work far exceeds a high end kitchen/cabinetry store. The wood and stain he chose is beautiful. He was very easy to work with. Pictures don't do it justice.
