Scot was phenomenal! I had a particularly interesting, difficult project that needed to be custom and very sturdy. Scot was very communicative and creative about the design. I’m definitely checking in to see if Scot will be available for my next project and would recommend anyone to work with him!

We worked with Scot to create a built in master closet and custom laundry room table and couldn't be happier with the results! Scot is wonderful to work with and communicated with us in a timely manner throughout the project. He is a very gifted craftsman and took great care to make sure every inch of our closet was used in the best way. The results are fantastic and we really love it! Scot is a very talented and great guy to work with. He made a reclaimed oak island, a pine table and a hefty floating shelf for our kitchen. We had an idea of what we were looking for as far as the island but leaned on Scot’s keen eye for design as far as the table. He prepared several wood samples, drawings and was in touch about meetings to ensure we were on the same page. Bonus: he was sensitive to our budget! We are so happy to have found Scot to work on a custom side buffet for us. He is creative, friendly, and the piece is amazing. I have found some people don't let clients have too much input at times, but Scot came to us with wood samples he thought would make sense in the room, and what would tie things together, but not be overly matchy. Scot's craftmanship is on point, and since the piece has arrived at our home, we've already gotten several compliments - people gravitate right for it. He was a professional from start to finish.

We hired Scot to help us transform an area in our Kitchen into a very functional breakfast nook! He did an amazing job with the built in bench, custom wood paneling AND built us a beautiful custom dining table to fit the space perfectly. We hired Scott from Hawkeye to design , construct and build 2 bookcases to go on either side of a fireplace . We are so pleased with the quality , workmanship and attention to detail.The book cases are well built and beautiful. Walnut with satin stain - 4 custom floating shelves and 1 custom desk top, with installation. Scot is super talented and his craftsmanship speaks for itself. A quality product starts with passion and ends with attention to detail. This is exactly what Scot provides. When I approached him with the idea I had for our home office, he added his expertise and made the project move forward smoothly and professionally. Scott was great. He listened to my request for a living room remodel and provided some helpful suggestions to improve on the design. He was methodical and neat during the demo and reconstruction. He coordinated with the electrician and mason for the granite install. The fireplace surround and mantel came out perfect. The remodeled built-in cabinet looks like it was meant to be. The crown molding is perfect. Great paint job on the walls and trim. I am so pleased with the finished product.

From design through install, Scot is a true craftsman and pleasure to work with. He designed and crafted a floating desk in our small home office and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We look forward to working with him again soon for a mudroom project.

Scot designed and built mudroom cubbies for us in a small space with a sloped ceiling. He was thoughtful and thorough and did a beautiful, durable job. His craftsmanship is outstanding and I also really appreciated his artistic eye - he helped me pick hooks and suggested a wood and stain for the bench that goes very well with the tile and wall color. His pricing was very competitive and is was receptive to feedback during the project.

Scot did an amazing job making reclaimed wood furniture for my new family room. He made a coffee table and a sofa table/media console. The wood came from a barn in Vermont and is absolutely stunning. I was going for a "farmhouse modern" vibe and he delivered. He also custom made the furniture to fit the sizes that I was looking for. Scot is a very creative and talented woodworker. We purchased a coffee table from him made of reclaimed lumber. It's beautifully made, modern yet timeless in its design. It's a piece that will be enjoyed by generations. I would not hesitate to hire Scot for any custom woodworking needs.

Scot designed a beautiful new custom kitchen for our antique cottage style home. Shaker style cabinets, open shelving, a bar w reclaimed wood complemented the style of the home to keep it open and clean while maintaining charm. He also designed a closet space and reworked a storage area to maximize space. Very creative, skilled work at a reasonable price and completed in the time allotted.

Very down-to-earth, Scott took great time to get to know us and our tastes (rustic, coastal country living) in furnishings and space use. He stayed on schedule and under budget (we do not have electric or plumbing requirements and I got the hardware from one of the big home DIY box stores). He took my design preferances on board and worked them into his final product beautifully (like putting in tin tile detailing on some of the cupboard doors paneling). For a custom piece, the kitchen island is a great investment.
