Hub Woodworks exceeded my expectations with their cabinet making service. From the initial consultation to the final installation, they were professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail. The craftsmanship of their cabinets is impeccable, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

After considering a few different contractors, I hired Hub to build us a built-in media console and bookcase in our living room. Our decision to hire him was based on the samples I saw online and the way he communicated through the beginning of the process in terms of quickly getting us an estimate and agreeing to a ballpark price. Hiring Hub turned out to be a really great decision. My wife and I are thrilled with how the piece turned out and highly recommend Hub's services to anyone looking for custom woodwork. Anyone who has come to our house recently has remarked on how amazing Hub's work is and how beautifully the piece has been integrated into our space. Hub was patient, communicative, and transparent as we went through the planning and pricing process. He created detailed drawings for us to understand how the project would come together, and we refined those drawings together to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. When it came time to install, Hub and his team were on time, extremely detail oriented, tidy, and quiet. The installation was meticulously done and the piece seamlessly fits into our space. We had one minor issue come up after install, and Hub came immediately to fix it. We will definitely be working with him on more projects in the future.

Sometimes minimal furniture can make a room. We were looking for a kitchen cabinet and credenza to become the central pieces in our kitchen/dining room at our seasonal house. Hub Woodworks advised us on design and wood to use, and flawlessly designed and installed the new furniture. We even got our dream of a removable section to double as prep island. Years later, the furniture is still working great and looking better. Highly recommend working with Hub Woodworks.

We had a wonderful experience working with Hub. We needed a floor to ceiling bookcase built in an uneven nook in our living room. Hub is responsive and understood what we are were looking for. He gave us a couple of options to extend with price differences so we could decide which fit our budget best. He was able to find the perfect color of wood and trim work with some Pinterest photos that I shared. The execution was flawless. His team is responsible, polite and considerate of the 2 rugrats I have running around. He didn’t leave a mark on any surface despite having a saw in the middle of the room. From concept to execution was 5 weeks, and its amazing. We love our new bookcase!

Hub Moore (Hub Woodworks) is a skilled wood craftsman with an eye for detail, a passion for quality and a keen ability to understand and create designs to meet a client’s needs. He delivers high quality work on time and on budget and is trustworthy (we were not there when he installed items) and communicative. And he is a lovely and sincere person. He created a pantry in our kitchen that stores our vacuum and other cleaning supplies as well as canned goods, storage bins for flours, etc. Hub actually measured my vacuum and storage containers to ensure they would fit comfortably and easily in the unit. We joked that the unit was a home for my vacuum - it is and SO much more. I enjoy using the pantry everyday and it helps to organize all our baking etc. supplies. There is even a special cubby to hold our large carving board! The pull out drawers shut quietly and years later, the unit looks and functions as it did the day he installed it. Also in the kitchen he created a storage bench under the window which serves as extra seating and storage for our cloth shopping bags and gift wrap. Another beautiful and practical creation! Hub also created a study with 2 computer desks, built-in file cabinets and wall bookcases. It’s a small, odd-shaped room in an old apartment and undaunted, he was able to make the space usable and beautiful. Again he customized the design based on our needs and aesthetic. I worked with Hub on a project for a client that needed custom bookshelves, a fireplace mantle and a television cabinet. I also worked with him on another project for a client that needed floating corner shelves in a kitchen. He executed my designs beautifully and was a pleasure to work with. We worked with Hub to build a huge bookcase/cabinet that is spectacular. It is the focal point of our apartment and it is usually the first thing anyone comments on. He was patient, helpful and really listened to help us come up with a unique design. The quality of his work is incredible. It's been 5 years and it has more than withstood the challenges posed by a young child, no small feat! We are hoping to work with him on a few upcoming new projects this year.

Hub built a beautiful custom storage unit under my stairs that included a coat closet, toy storage, book shelves, sliding technology storage, and file cabinets. His design made efficient use of an oddly shaped understair space and managed to hide all the nonsense of our daily life. I really like my soft-close pop-open doors and my printer that easily pulls out. The construction took place off-site and installation only took two days with no mess. It was a great experience. I got exactly what wanted and more!

Hub helped us design a beautiful, floor to ceiling media center that spans our entire living room wall. We had a very specific design and look in mind, and he worked with us to make it happen. The unit holds all of our books, photo frames, as well as a 65" flat panel TV (mounted on the unit's wall with fold down doors to hide all of the components. The lower doors are all childproofed. Hub's craftsmanship is meticulous and high-quality. He was extremely responsive throughout the process - from our initial email to him to installing the piece - and even finished ahead of time! We highly recommend Hub Woodworks and would definitely work with him again. Everyone who's seen our unit is really impressed.

I hired Hub Woodworks to build 2 custom built-ins for my apartment in Brooklyn. He was recommended to me by a neighbor who had previously worked with him. When I first got in touch with Hub, I had a fairly good idea of the design I wanted. On our first meeting, Hub brought some samples with him to help me select the finishes and looked at the feasibility of the sketches I had done. Before the start of fabrication, he was very proactive in giving me quotes for various material and design options and also in incorporating the comments I had on the shop drawings. My built-ins came pre-assembled in large units to reduce the installation time in my apartment and to ensure the best quality possible. Some perimeter trims had to be made on site for a perfect fit of the units against the perimeter walls and ceiling. The installers did a very good job and were even cleaning at the end of each day before leaving (the installation took 4 days). I've had custom furniture made in the past and Hub Woodworks has been by far my best experience. Not only is the quality of the final product impeccable, but the communication during the design process is excellent. I would definitely use him again for a future project.

Hub made incredible custom shelves for us not once, not twice, but three times. One set included a complex L shape we desperately needed for more kitchen storage. for another he installed a wood wall behind the unit with custom whitewashed pine planks. He did exactly what we wanted, the work was impeccable, and his conduct and communication was everything we needed.

Hub built an amazing bookcase in our apartment. It's about 25 feet long, and he was WONDERFUL to work with. He has an excellent taste level and can offer options and solutions that fit the aesthetic you are looking for. We still love it and get many compliments on it. It is the centerpiece of our living room.
