J. P. Waller Design Group is a full service design, build and renovation company. John Waller has twenty years experience in designing, building and renovating some of Louisville's finest homes. John has won over 13 Homearama Grand Awards for his design and building expertise. He gives each and every job his personal attention and chooses not to utilize superintendents. John believes in working closely with all of his clients making sure that their needs are met and assuring them of quality project outcome. John has become known not only for his original design but also the quality and the detail of his work is evident in every project. One of his favorite mantras -"Quality is in the Details" really typifies John's philosophy on design and construction. John stole over a hundred thousand dollars from me when he was building homes in Oklahoma before he fled town with peoples draws and didn’t pay suppliers

Working with John on a three bathroom, two bedroom, and entryway facelift. He is extremely resourceful. He is fully mindful of budget constraints. He has a phenomenal eye for detail. He is responsive, trustworthy and an invaluable resource in every area from design to construction to decoration. Just a very rare talent and an equally good guy. We are enjoying the process.

John was given the difficult task in finishing our basement (1,800 SF) approximately two years ago. We had a transition period in our household with three young boys getting older and wanting their own space along with the basement area needing to serve as an area for social gatherings. My wife had a vision of creating a rathskeller type of family room incorporating hardwood, old logs, and brick. He personally designed the floor plan with two bedrooms, full bath, media room, and large family room that met every need for the boys along with the rathskeller characteristics my wife wanted. The detail of finishes (hardwood flooring, custom fireplace, interior brick wall, custom wood) vastly exceeded our expectations.

J.P. Waller Design Group did a complete kitchen remodel for us. John and his team were great to work with, reliable and did an excellent job. As with any major job, there were a few challenges along the way. In every case John was responsive, professional and was willing to handle everything to our complete satisfaction. We are thrilled with the final results - which reflect our style and J.P. Waller's quality craftsmanship! We have recommended John to several friends who have also been very pleased with his wor.
