We love everything about our kitchen. The style is so distinctive and elegant. Every aspect has been thoughtfully designed and developed for use in everyday life. The finish is flawless and easy to maintain. Also, the installation was really professional and effective. Our remodeling project's easiest phase was the kitchen, and the entire crew at Kitchen Crafters makes sure your experience is as straightforward as it can be (special thanks to Craig, James, and Mike).

The quality of Kitchen Crafters and my experience had me ecstatic! James and Craig were fantastic to work with. Every inquiry I had was promptly and thoroughly answered by them. They sent us several designs and helped us from start to finish. We are ecstatic with the outcome and continue to work with Kitchen Crafters on further projects throughout the house. Excellent business and fantastic service!

We are totally thrilled with our new kitchen! It is both functional and beautiful. Dean and his team listened to what we wanted and addressed any concerns along the way. The entire team was always professional, polite, clean and clearly cared about their work. Anytime there was any kind of problem, they always had a solution and consulted with us to make sure we were happy with the outcome. Would highly recommend.

A super unprofessional owner! They put in beautiful kitchen cupboards but we had to chase them down once we gave deposit! Zero communication... they put bottom cupboards in then for two weeks no contact, evaded our emails and texts! We had 4 other trades over the last 10 weeks with no issues. But funny the second the job was complete he wanted his money! And after us not responding for 2 days we get HATE email and threatening us... unacceptable behaviour! Do not use!

After meeting Dean and Lindsay, my husband and I knew they would be our choice to Reno our house. They were honest, clear and reliable throughout the entire project. They took care of all the details of the project (lots of different trades involved), we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The Reno came in on budget and there were no hidden costs. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen, powder room, master en-suite and family room built in. The highlight of the experience was that anything I asked for as crazy as it was, they always said they would try to make me happy. We would recommend kitchen crafters to anyone who asks and will likely use them again in the future.

My review comes almost 1 year after Kitchen Crafters build our amazing kitchen. Dean, Peter and team were extremely helpful in designing our kitchen. My wife and I spent a year looking for a company that could create a real custom kitchen. I recall Peter saying " if you can think it, we can build it".... And that is exactly what they did. We had a peninsula in our kitchen and my wife and I had always hoped for an island. When Dean and Peter came in and mapped it out, we could not believe that it was feasible. Everything was custom built. The quality of the cabinets was amazing. Their attention to detail was spot on. They added a number of custom add-on's that my wife found online with ease. The Kitchen Crafters team, and their contractors were a terrific and very trustworthy team. Their electrician Kelvin installed pot lights and worked on the electrical. I could not believe how much time he spent paying attention to every detail that went into a extremely practical design. Where style was concerned, Dean and Peter were very helpful in providing their input that helped us make the right choices. I said in the beginning that it has been a year since the team started working on our kitchen, and the reason I waited this long is to see how the durability and quality lasted. I wake up every morning to this amazing kitchen and we enjoy every moment in it. It looks as great today as the day the team finished their work. I would strongly recommend Dean and his team from Kitchen Crafters to anyone looking for a real quality custom job. Thanks guys... my apologies for keeping you waiting this long. cheers!

My wife & I just had our main floor fully renovated. It was very stressful to try and find a Kitchen Company as you always feel worried about who you hire and if they are going to do a good job. We found this company at the Home show and met with Dean. He was very professional and out of all the Kitchen Companies we met, Dean had the most knowledge and made us feel very comfortable and we decided to go ahead and hire him.
We were absolutely amazed with the outcome. Better then we ever dreamed. We sent pictures of different parts of custom hoods we liked from Google. Also wanted an area to store our Wine glasses that was separate from Kitchen. The company did an unreal job and we can't get enough compliments for the kitchen. Installation team was very Professional. Mike did a great job. My wife and I highly recommend Kitchen Crafters. Thanks again Dean for making our home a dream.

We really love our new kitchen! We gutted out the old one and built from scratch, complete with rewiring and different hvac. As with all renos of this magnitude there were a few hiccups along the way but they were minor and the finished product is amazing. Peter gave us some really good pointers regarding the design and plan. The crew was very polite and did great work. Shout out to Kelvin the electrician, and to TK Tiling for the amazing job with our giant backsplash . Dean's commitment to quality and perfection was reassuring and appreciated. He is very focused on customer satisfaction. We do recommend that you check out the counter at the supplier's to make sure you know what you are getting. In the end we are happy with ours. Very very reasonably priced and we got the look we wanted.

We used Kitchen Crafters for our new kitchen renovation and are really happy with the finished product. They make custom kitchen cabinets in-house so all you have to do is show them a picture of what you want and they can make that happen. They are also great at providing ideas to help achieve a functional space that keeps up with trends but remains transitional.
Peter is excellent at maintaining contact with the customer. We dealt with several contractors when we were renovating our home and he was by far the best at maintaining contact through text, email, and calling. We never had to chase him down for anything and he was great at answering questions, providing updated estimates and organizing the project details.
Dean, the project manager and owner was also fantastic. There were some bumps in the road with installation, as all projects have, but he handled all of the issues and made sure that we were happy with the outcome, which we are. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for any kitchen reno's - big or small.

We met this company at a home show and hired them to remove and custom re-build a small kitchen in roughly the same layout. The measuring / estimating / quoting procedure was efficient, a 3D picture was produced and the price was reasonable so we proceeded. Everything was custom designed and built but our price was still less than estimates from the major home stores.
The actual install took about a week. For our job they handled all cabinetry, electrical and plumbing. Their people were very professional and helpful, including Peter the estimator, Dean the owner / supervisor and their staff and trades. Minor fitting issues due to our appliance selection were quickly corrected because they do their own cabinet manufacturing in their Misssissauga shop. Change requests we decided to make during the install were handled easily and professionally.
Our renovation was relatively simple and quick and we were extremely pleased with the final product (see photo). The actual quality of build - design, materials and carpentry - was excellent.
We would easily recommend this company for anyone doing kitchen renovations.

We chose Kitchen Crafters as their price point, knowledge and quality of products used were excellent. Dean organized all other contractors for the project as it was not just a kitchen reno- flooring replaced in kitchen and main hall and ceramics installed in powder room and laundry room. We liked that the kitchen cabinets were made in their shop and the white finish has proven to be easy to keep clean. The quality of work was excellent by all contractors. The project started mid-May and was completely finished by the end of June. We are very much enjoying our new kitchen.

I had hired this company to work on cabinets in our home. Let's say that I am extremely pleased with their work ethic and quality. They provided great communication and customer service and of course the final product was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!
Thank you again. I have passed your company info to many of my friends as well.

Do not hire Kitchen Crafters to build you a kitchen. I hired them to build me a custom kitchen and they have abandoned me without a receipt. My kitchen is still not complete after 13.5 months. They are very expensive and do shoddy work. I paid over 50k for shoddy workmanship and a rippled, bumpy blotchy cabinet paint job. I don’t think it will last and they do not apply more than a coat of stain onto the wood. My tobacco stained walnut cabinets are faded looking. My cabinet doors are crocked and with large gaps between them. They got me the cheapest of knobs/handles that keep falling off because used the shortest of screws to drill them in. They took many unexpected days off sick, vacations, funerals and a couple of times just didn’t show up. The company hires young kids/volunteers to do the odd jobs, who are inexperienced and very messy. They left many drill holes in the centre of my cabinet doors instead of filling them in and they are very noticeable. My walnut cabinets look shoddy also with deep scratches filled in and several knicks that happened during transport..I think. My flip up door hinges keep breaking/squeaking. Corners were cut in several areas of the job - they substituted with cheaper face frames as much as possible. The company is very new and in my mind inexperienced. When they are finished installing your cabinets you need to hire a finishing carpenter to clean up all your trim and baseboards etc. They are not trades people nor creative at all..but rather from a business background. No help designing was provided and you need to always stay on top of them to keep the work flow. I had to design every square inch. I provided detailed instructions about where along the wall my kitchen needed to end. A big mistake was made when they extended my kitchen cabinets too far down the wall..even thou hard red stop lines were drawn and solid measurements taken. Now, the sunlight does not fill up my room and I was unable to install the island I had planned in the centre of my kitchen because the fridge doors would bang into it. Messed up the plan royally. Know that his price quoted does not include, lighting, backsplash, sinks, countertops, drywall, painting, several plumbing visits or cabinet handles so be prepared to hire several other professionals to finish your job. And cash is always requested for any of his referrals eg. counter top supplier. This company is a one man show. They want and try to please you but his work quality is not exceptional. Bottom line if you want quality work in a timely fashion do not hire this company.

Comment from Kitchen Crafters.ca:
Hi I would like to address this negative post.
I would like to start buy making it clear that I appreciate all of my customers.
Nikki’s project took a very long time. She was unable to commit to any decision; in many cases making final decisions and then changing her mind in hours and days later multiple times. I learned that any decision needed weeks to get an actual confirmation and even after everything was finally installed she changed her mind again on countless decisions. It took over 6 months for her to decide on a door style and she insisted on not coming to the shop to pick one; I could not understand this.
I am perfectly fine with any timeline. If a customer wants to take more time to make decisions I always suggest that they do so. Customers are paying a lot of money to do this work and I would never want them to make a decision that they will regret. However making 180 degree changes to final decisions after we have ordered all the materials is not very nice.
She delayed the install by months after the cabinets were made and sitting in our shop. Nikki told her contractor that I had run off with her money. When Nikki final set up the install date she was very unreasonable. She called and insisted that I start the next day without any notice. I was not able to accommodate this as I have jobs scheduled; she could not understand and suggested that I was not making her a priority. She wanted the install to take not more than 3 days. I told her it would take longer and with the intense detail of her cabinets and it should not to be rushed.
The day that we showed up to install the kitchen:
Nikki had torn down all the drywall in the kitchen and the walls were just studs. We could not install the kitchen. Nikki really wanted us to just put the cabinets up and she would put the drywall on after???? I explained to her that there was no way that that was possible. She called her contractor and told him to come and fix it without sanding anything because she does not like drywall dust?? She did not put the drywall up before we came because she did not want any dust.
When her contractor came:
He looked at all the cabinets we made. He was amazed with the quality (Nikki’s cabinets are inset face frame walnut; Beautiful looking cabinets with a lot of detail). He had been her contractor for over 15 years doing projects at her house. After talking to me about her delays in the installation he was so offended that she had been lying to him for the last several months that he quit the job and left her house right then.
Nikki no longer had a contractor:
I set up every aspect of the rest of her job even though I was only being paid for the cabinets (other than the drywall). I felt her job would likely never get done if Nikki did not have help. Nikki hired a guy to come do the drywall. He did it without sanding by her instructions. The walls are so poorly done that I can’t even understand how someone could be ok with it. We are installing a $50,000 Kitchen on walls that look like they have been prepared by a child. She insisted that the walls were fine. I reluctantly proceeded.
I got the plumber in, I got the electrician in, and we installed the cabinets.
There are so many details from this point that I cannot even describe them all. There were countless changes. She called the Canadian Cabinet Association to have my work evaluated by a third party to find faults. They gave me a 10 out of 10 which Nikki herself applauded me on (I have the email).
The design that she came up with was something from Alice and Wonderland. She wanted a truly unique kitchen that no one had ever seen before. She made it clear she did not want anything standard. Hard to describe.
I will give one example. Nikki wanted all the doors to all look like three drawers. Something that I told her may not be possible with inset face frame. She insisted that I could find a way and I did. Standard wood doors are 5 pieces where Nikki’s doors are made of 21 pieces. Any woodworker would be supper impressed with what we did.
To end all of this many people did not get fully paid. Including myself, the electrician, the flooring guy and the plumber. Nikki seems to try and find faults in work to insist on not paying for the job. There should be a section on Houzz to rate customers and warn contractors of whom they should avoid.

I contacted Dean to come in to our home and have a look and give us an idea of what we could design and what kind of budget would we be needing. He was very friendly, and professional. It didn't take us long to contact him and have him come again to our home to make our dream kitchen become a reality! He was able to incorporate all my magazine ideas and make our dreams a reality. The whole process took about 6 months. He worked around our schedule and delays without a problem! Our kitchen we just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! We get soo many compliments and comments that our kitchen looks like it is straight out of a home decor magazine. I must say I have to agree. We could not be happier with All the extras, finishes and organizational features that he suggested and or we requested. We also had our main bathroom done and just love it too! We would and have recommended Dean to others whom are looking for a quality, beautiful kitchen or bathroom. We will be having him back again to design our master bathroom soon!

My husband and I renovated our entire house. We were looking for a modern Kitchen, with all the bells and whisltes. We found Dean and kitchen Crafters through a family friend, who highly recommend him. Dean Came in and painted the perfect picture of what we wanted in a kicthen & worked with us to create the best kitchen possible for the lay out we had.
Dean was very porfessional, as our minds changed daily on what we wanted, and how we wanted it. nothing was a problem he was very accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew. The craftmen ship was A 1, if you don't believe us and want to see for yourself, look up 49 Roberts Crescent Brampton, Ontario, on (you tube). Kitchen Crafters will make you never second guess your decision.
Thank you Kitchen Crafters from the Bates Family.

Kitchen Crafters was recommended by my friend for our new kitchen project in Acton area. Meeting at their showroom in Mississauga was convenient and really helped us to visualize what the final product would look like. Dean had great vision and designed a very modern and elegant kitchen. My husband and I were very nervous about layout and colour. Dean sent us drawings for us to look at and make any changes we may want. We were really able to see the big picture and made easier for us to make a decision on what we wanted. The colours on cabinets matched samples perfectly. On site installers were very polite and cleaned up every day before they left. Working with Kitchen crafters was a pleasure and we were very happy with their exceptional service and professionalism. We would definitely recommend Kitchen Crafters to my family and friends.

My Husband and I wanted our bathroom's and kitchen renovated. We shopped around for months and eventually decided to go with Kitchen Crafters. We were very pleased with the company from start to finish. He showed us our design in 3D on the computer before we finalized the design. It was really cool to be able to see our design and it helped us to make changes that we wouldn't have thought to make if we hadn't had the opportunity to see it in 3D. Our bathroom vanities were completed first and were stunning. (I found a vanity on Houzz I really liked and he was able to custom make mine the same way.). The kitchen was completed next and it exceeded my expectations. Dean had suggested some ideas with regards to adding column's and decorative filers around the sink, stove and fridge. We liked the idea and we went ahead with those additions. Even with seeing the 3D drawings we didn't realize how significant the column's and fillers would be. It made our kitchen look like one you would see in a magazine. Our kitchen ended up being more beautiful then what we could have imagined. We picked our handles last and they had to be ordered in, therefore they were installed after the kitchen was installed.
Overall we were very pleased with our experience. We would recommend Dean and his guys to anyone wanting a custom made kitchen and/or bathrooms.

My wife and I were shopping around to have our kitchen, front closet, bathrooms and master walk-in done. We contacted 5 different companies and had them come out to the house to estimate the job. Out of all the people that came, Dean made us feel the most comfortable with his knowledge and creative input. He made a strong impression on us and wanted to make sure we would get exactly what we wanted.
For the kitchen we went with a standard white shaker style with an island. He made us a beautiful custom range hood and the end panel design on the island is beyond our expectations. He also put in matching side panels for the built in fridge and range that made the kitchen come together wonderfully. Lots of other customization for the drawers, door styles and accessories we got to choose from was far beyond our expectations.
For the master bath and walk-in we had a particular design in mind and Dean was helpful with accommodating. He added a few key ideas that my wife really liked (closet organizer, shoes etc.) and she was over the moon when it was completed. The drawer and storage options are a real space saver and everything fits together perfectly.
For the bathrooms we did basic design similar to the kitchen, didn't want to go to crazy but still came out great.
For the kitchen and bathrooms countertops we ended up using granite through Dean because his prices were unbeatable. I guess because he does higher volume he gets a better discount. Anyways his countertop guys were great and did a fantastic job when they came in. They also did the backsplash in the kitchen.
All in all I give this company 5 stars based on customer relations and quality of work. It took me a while to finally do this review since the work was done a few months ago, just been so busy this summer. Since then all of our friends that have seen it want to get their kitchens done, and a couple are looking to get work done in the coming months. I would highly recommend anyone to use Kitchen Crafters.
