Koch Cabinets

We are a contractor that has been using koch for several years now. As with most cabinet companies they have low end and high end cabinets. This has given us the ability to sell customers what they need. The Koch brand has been amazing to work with and stands behind their products. Classic Series (5 star) Semi custom line Express Series (3-4 star) but this is ther cheap line and you get what you pay for The koch Delivery team has been awesome and stuff is always in great shape... . The only problems we have had have revolved around 3rd party shipping or handling companies and that has nothing to do with the manufacture of cabinets.

I am kitchen designer for over 30 years and have ordered cabinets from manufacturers all across the US. Koch Cabinets are an excellent product for the price point. They offer many customization options, comparable to higher cabinet lines; for a fraction of the price. I have used them for several years and am currently using them in 6 of my projects. Issues can always arise with manufacturers, but my experience with Koch has been great and issues have been nominal. They are one of the few cabinet manufacturers that have reasonable pricing, since the inflation that happened after covid. Another plus is that they are an American made product.

I have ordered cabinets from their Imperial line for multiple projects and they are not "high quality" like advertised. Even though they are all-plywood construction, they are cheaply made. We had to process two warranty orders for one cabinet due to damages. Not only is their workmanship sub-par, but their customer support is abysmal. The local representatives will turn a blind eye to your emails and when you call the office manager with concerns, he hangs up the phone on you. Their employees have a "that's not my job" mindset when it comes to any questions or concerns you may have. I'm yet to get any solid answers, even though we have been put through the wringer on almost every order we have placed with Koch in the last year. No accountability, empathy or customer support worth mentioning from this company. Buyer beware.

Do not order from them my cabinet was cracked. I have waited to get my cabinet for one month ago until now please DONT ORDER THIS. My husband was sad seeing this.

Our cabinets were supposed to be delivered to the distributor mid July, but they were not even made by then. August 9th is the new date. Entire shipment arrives. Not one box is damaged, looking good. The pantry is the first thing unboxed and it was too tall, it could not be stood upright in the kitchen. Then looking closer at it the hinges had been put on wrong and moved. A lousy attempt was made to fill in the old holes and it just looked like a child had done it. The wood frame on the front was split where it was screwed together at the pocket holes. ( no pre drill was done) Then it was sent to the paint department and painted over. Then after the “quality control” pictures were taken and it was boxed up for shipment. ( these pictures are to show condition prior to shipment to protect them from installers who might damage items after delivery) So this means the person who screwed the wood together on the production line, the painter, the final inspection person/photographer, and the box it up person all had ample opportunity to fix this pantry or at least stop it from being shipped. The Koch representative refused to send copies of the pre shipment pictures. Then we started opening the rest of the cabinets both upper and base. What did we find you ask? Almost every cabinet was split the same way at the pocket joint. There were also damaged spots on the sides that were covered with some type of putty(that had never dried) and would just rub off. There were also places on the joining of the box of the cabinet’s that were stapled splitting the wood or in some cases the staples being shot in missing where the staple was supposed go. The sink base was supposed to have a tilt out on the front, yes you guessed it, it didn’t have it. Was told in regards to that I should have just ordered a Rev a Shelf after market tilt out. But I had ordered and paid for a factory made tilt out. Funny or not so funny thing about this is there is no warranty on after market items, Rev a Shelf being named specifically. Then when the distributor tried to get this taken care of he was basically told to feel lucky that they would remake all the improperly made cabinet’s, almost an entire order for a full kitchen remodel. The distributor was also told that Koch could have refused to remake the cabinets and just filled the splits in the wood with glue. I found this out after the order was cancelled. So after Koch improperly made almost an entire order of cabinets and could have corrected the mistakes that were made in the factory, and let the damaged cabinets pass through every stage of production, quality control, be photographed, boxed up and shipped. They think they had the right to not replace them. The earliest that Koch Cabinet’s would correct their mistake of improperly made cabinets was August 30th. The cabinets never came. Order cancelled

Poor quality and the stain is sprayed on poorly. Bad customer service. Waiting for my doors for 4 months. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first. Order Show Place. Mike Anderson

We are in the middle of our kitchen remodel. We order cabinets from Koch cabinets and they have started to install them. They seem like good cabinets until they got to one area where our dishwasher goes, this is where the peninsula comes out beside it. The cabinet that meets the dishwasher can be seen, instead of putting the oak board on the back of this cabinet they sent a skin to be installed on it. It's a totally different color and look, looks like someone went to Lowes and got something to hide the cabinet behind it. We have contacted them throughs the cabinet company that's installing them and Koch told them that if they were to fix it it would take 2 to 3 months to do it, they were not talking any rush orders. This is not a rush order, it's them making their mistake right so we can finish our kitchen, we can't install the granite tops until it's fixed. So at this point the cabinet company that's installing them is going to try to make something that will work. I would recommend that you order cabinets from another company and to stay away from Koch Cabinets, they do not stand behind their product to make things right.

I've had Koch cabinets in my home for five years and they have been chipping and have a white haze on the insides for several years now.. I contacted the company and they were unwilling to do anything about it. I am very careful with them and take good care of them. I would not recommend this company. This shouldn't happen after such a short time period or at all! They weren't cheap cabinets and now I have to replace or refinish my cabinets at my expense.

We placed an order for a kitchen though our designer and had 5 damaged cabinets and others with imperfections I can live with. The 5 replaced cabinets came in and 4 of the 5 were damaged. I just got my 4 replacements (12 weeks after order date) and I am not pleased with them but are keeping 3 out of the 4. It will now be 17 weeks before I possibly have all of my cabinets installed. And this does not include the doors that are going to be replaced (my designer said to wait until the end for that) I think part of the problem is they ship in a cardboard box that they claim has a special spray on it to protect the cabinets. Very disappointed with the quality for the money we spent!

We have believe they offer a true value and are the main stay of our selection.
