We came to Manhattan Cabinets through a referral from neighbors in our apartment building who were so proud to show us their fabulous renovation of three bathrooms. I was nervous to start, overwhelmed by all the choices we'd need to make to renovate our two bathrooms, but from the very beginning it was clear we were in expert hands with Jerry and Zee. Jerry hand-held us through the process of choosing everything, was an excellent listener who really "got" us from the beginning, which was incredibly helpful as important decisions needed to be made throughout the process - Jerry never ever pushed, yet was able to intuit whenever guidance was needed by us. As the renovation proceeded both Jerry and Zee provided excellent support and contact, they were only a phone call or email away, and they dropped by regularly as the work was being done. The proof of this wonderful collaboration is in the final result of two absolutely fabulous bathrooms which are beyond our expectations. We stayed in our apartment for the duration of the bathrooms being done one at a time, so were able to witness how every person who came to the apartment to work was so highly professional, skilled, and expert in what they did (as well as incredibly nice). The workmanship is outstanding. It seemed that each and every worker kept the areas where they worked, as they worked, very tidy, Each day they left the apartment very clean and neat - which the referring neighbors had told us it would be like - and that made all the difference in our staying in the apartment while the renovation work was being done. Based on our terrific experience with Manhattan Cabinets, we are now beginning to consider the idea of renovating the kitchen, something we could not have imagined before this. To say we are delighted with the new bathrooms - and everyone and everything that got us here - is an understatement. Manhattan Cabinets renovated our living room, bedrooms, hallway, and entryway, which included refinishing the floors, replacing doors, putting in new door casings and baseboards, skim coating and repainting the walls and ceiling, and installing hardware and light fixtures. They also made a built-in radiator cover with storage and boxed in multiple heat pipes. At every corner, Manhattan Cabinets' work was spectacular. Manhattan Cabinets was chosen by one of my friends to build and install cabinets and bookshelves in their living room. I was so impressed by the quality of their workmanship, their attention to details, and their reliability that I asked them whether they could also renovate my bathroom, removing the tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower. They took on that challenge and did a superb job at every stage. Efficient, careful, and pleasant. The retiling was done to perfection, and the sliding door was installed with precision. My husband and I have nothing but praise for Manhattan Cabinets which we hired to renovate our small NYC kitchen. From start to finish, we always felt heard and the job was finished on time and on budget. They have their own in-house construction crew which greatly streamlined the process. As to quality, we found that the materials ordered and their labor to be impeccable. We gave them a specific time frame which they met to the day. Btw, we were out of town and the very nice job supervisor, Zee Abker, gave us daily updates with photos. More importantly, he responded to all of our emails within a few minutes. We bought a 2 bedroom apt and basically needed to gut renovate before moving in. Since we had never renovated any previous home, we were quite nervous. We had several friends who had terrible, stressful experiences with contractors when issues arose and their projects were delayed for months while the contractor worked on other jobs. After asking everyone we knew about renovations, we were referred to Zee by our friend and neighbor who had hired his team to merge a 1 bedroom apartment with a two bedroom apt. The work Zee and his crew did for them was beautiful. Our friend confirmed that Zee’s team’s workmanship was great and that the entire experience was stress free. Before we decided to go with Zee, I shared with him one of the horror stories I had heard from friends who had used other contractors who either avoided them or even disappeared. And Zee said two things that resonated with us. 1:) ‘We view our customers as family. Once we are done with a renovation our customers are part of the Manhattan Cabinet family so it’s important that we do great work.’ And 2.) ‘Unlike other contractors, I have a retail storefront, so you always know where to find me.’ After speaking with multiple other contractors to compare prices, we hired Zee and his crew. I’m pleased to say our experience with Zee was similar to that of my neighbors. The renovation was stress free, the quality of the work was great and Zee’s crew finished within the agreed upon timeframe despite the ongoing pandemic. In fact, our new next door neighbors proactively told us they were impressed that Zee’s crew was so respectful and courteous. After a nightmare search to find a reputable construction company, we were referred to Zee. Manhattan Cabinets is absolutely terrific. I cannot recommend them enough. Zee and his team came to the rescue when my original contractor went under and left our apartment combination in the lurch. All the cabinetry had been removed, there were huge holes in the wall, and the electric had not been wired. Zee expertly took care of this, and we were able to move into our apartment much sooner than expected. Zee was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire ordeal. He and his team are exceptionally talented. We cannot thank them enough.

I was very impressed with Manhattan Cabinet. From the beginning to the end of the project they were very professional, offered suggestions, showed up on time, pleasant to talk with, organized, very clean, had great quality of workmanship, and returned your furnishings to their exact spot as if they were never moved. It was also nice they kept the costs to your budget. I would definitely use them again.

I believe many companies would have refused to undertake my project. It was a small, but time consuming plumbing project. Manhattan Cabinets not only agreed to do the job but spent countless hours to make sure the work was done right The project was to install a water filtration system. Parts of the new system had to be added to a prior water filtration system. To make matters worse, the manufacturer did not always send the necessary parts and on one occasion, one part was damaged in shipment. Through no fault of Manhattan Cabinets, it took several days to complete the job and many hours of patient, meticulous work. Anthony, the plumber, made sure that the system was working properly before signing off on the job and even asked me to text him once I had used the system for a few days. This is a company that definitely puts the interest of their clients first. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I absolutely recommend Manhattan Cabinets and Zee. From the beginning Zee was interested in listening to our very specific and unique requirement, to which he proposed several solutions. Once we decided on a game plan, he was very fast in executing the work in the way we needed it. I am the property manager of a luxury home in Manhattan. Initially I was hesitant to start the job with a company I've never worked with before. Then, when the pandemic started, I became even more uneasy as everything was placed on hold at the time. Fortunately, the kitchen installation came out beautiful and the owners were very happy. There were only minor touch ups after the job was completed and sure enough, Manhattan Cabinets came back immediately to revise the touch ups. I would strongly recommend this company.

I replaced all my kitchen countertops and cabinet doors with Zee and his team. Attached are finished photos. The door stains came out to be very close to what we picked even though it was a different wood material and we were very satisfied with the outcome. Pros: 1) Speed: What amazed me was the speed by which they intended to finish. Most companies would ask for 6-8 weeks lead time and delays are usually expected. So when zee called me within three weeks to start installing the cabinet doors I was not even ready with the handle picking so it had to be delayed on my part. The installation process for doors took about 3 working days (1 week gap in between for remaking some parts). The stone took less than 3 weeks from measure to complete installation. 2) Quality: For every nook and cranny of the cabinet, nothing was left out and zee's team went to extra length to make sure everything looked good and aligned properly. 3) Good Communication: Over 50% of the time I just called their office and Zee himself would be able to pick up. The other 50% of the time he would respond to emails within 1 day. I really appreciated the timely response. 1) Cost: I'm sure if you hunt around more and look into the more granular steps in the cabinet making process, there will be some cost savings but sometimes I just need the peace of mind that someone can get it done nicely in a timely fashion and don't mind paying a little more for it.

I hired Manhattan Cabinets to do a complete gut renovation and combine two apartments on the Upper East Side. They were magnificent. The owner, Zee, was completely professional, reasonable and easy to work with from inception to completion. This was a huge several month project, and even when a construction issue presented itself, Manhattan Cabinets was able to resolve the issue without taking advantage of the situation or back charging a ridiculous fee, which is very common for other contractors. They do beautiful work and I highly recommend them.

We came to Zee and Jerry with a very specific design concept and inventory of preferred materials and appliances. The goal of the project was to significantly upgrade every functional and aesthetic aspect of the kitchen while remaining within its limited footprint. Together we reviewed the design, materials and constraints of the kitchen space. The design was optimize and refined. I did not have an architect. I did not have a designer. I had no idea that in New York City this would be a problem. After a frustrating and fruitless search for someone to design and build my kitchen, I was standing on a corner waiting for the light to change, looked up and saw the sign: Manhattan Cabinets. I walked in; problems solved. My tiny kitchen (about 6x6) was no problem for them -- even though one wall was curved! Zee and Jerry and Rob all worked together to solve my bento-box-like space issues with creativity and patience. When I was 100 miles away during lockdown, Zee FaceTimed me from the apartment to share ideas. One cabinet door had a dent. No problem. They ordered me a new one before I even asked. The project isn't quite finished -- the cabinet hardware has yet to be installed -- but I'm so pleased with how the kitchen that I can't wait to share a photo. Oh -- the range of options is impressive -- the best brands are available -- and the prices quite reasonable.

The gut renovation of my pre-war bathroom is finished and I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. I’m very pleased with how the entire process unfolded with Manhattan Cabinets. Never in my dreams did I imagine things could or would go so smoothly. Since I admitted that I didn’t use my tub, Zee smartly suggested the possibility of a walk-in shower to give me more space, and also because it would be much better for me as I get older. It was a great idea and one that I had not previously considered. Who knew one could be in love with one’s shower! Zee is extremely responsive, professional, smart, experienced, even-tempered, reliable, kind, and considerate. Those wonderful qualities trickle down to his staff as well. I had the good fortune of working with Itzhak, a master craftsman who took great care with all of the details and was a pleasure to work with. The project started exactly on time and ended within the promised time-frame. The coop staff had no concerns or complaints. Zee and the team from Manhattan Cabinets did a great job on our apartment renovation. They were reliable, clean and well organized. They completed our full renovation (new bathrooms, open kitchen, hardwood floors, built-ins). They followed the plan and stayed on schedule and worked well with our architect. The punch list was completed.

Zee's team did an excellent patching up my walls and finishes and getting lots of little details correct, including some light electrical and light carpentry after I had new mini-split AC's installed. His team took care of a number of other small punch list items at no additional cost that were not part of the proposal we agreed to. It was great to have those done while work was going on and not have to beg and haggle over jobs that would likely have been too small to be of interest to many. This was the final stage of a big renovation project. Zee is communicative and responsive and prices fairly for the quality of work he provides. I would use him again and have no reservations about recommending him to others.

We are absolutely thrilled with the results from our gut renovation by Manhattan Cabinets-- combined with ESGC Corp contractors-- of our apartment kitchen, a large galley shape with a big window in a building from 1958. We began with high expectations given that owner Zee his Manhattan Cabinets team. had expertly remodeled the kitchen at my college chum's Manhattan 4 bedroom apartment which included new wood floors throughout.) “ Hire Zee and Eddie (ESGC Corp) for the contractor-- you don’t need to shop around. They are THAT good,”she and her husband recommended to us. BINGO. they were absolutely right-on and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Manhattan Cabinets truly exceeded our expectations. All the cabinetry, countertops ad electrical work was truly superb. Tiling was a work of art with a meticulous finish. We know what we're talking about. We are exigent and experienced with renovations: My Scottish husband, a software engineer and also a licensed plumber and electrician in the UK and Germany, with his own experience doing a gut kitchen renovation with his own bare hands including tiling. His invaluable input about our kitchen design included a long countertop that abuts the window. I am a newspaper reporter who has good interior design taste. We both like to ask detailed, probing questions. We bought all materials including lights from Manhattan Cabinets where the prices were fair-- and in line with what we expected, given our research. (We bought a new fridge, cooktop wall oven, dishwasher and microwave all from Royal Green in White Plains, Ny (very satisfied with their service and our rebates!) and the porcelain wood-like floor from Best Plumbing in Yonkers, NY. Efficient: Two hour-long meetings with Zee at Manhattan Cabinets office, and one visit to our home where he measured meticulously. Zee helped us fine tune our ideas. One meeting before contract with Eddie (ESGC Corp) the excellent contractor who did my friend’s job-- and who also often works with Manhattan Cabinets. On time: They promised that the job would last from 6 to 8 weeks, start to finish. Workers began at either 8:30 or 9 am each day. They were cordial and friendly and quiet. Delivered from start to finish in 6 weeks. NO gaps in the work. Workers on time everyday-- never more than one day gap here or there after the demolition started. Tidy and neat After each workday the workers shop vacuumed everywhere. The complete project was delivered in pristine condition. NO leftover trash debris or dust. I used Manhattan Cabinets Inc for my apartment redo in NYC. They designed my kitchen and 2 bathroom vanity’s. From beginning to end the process was easy and all was accurate and precise. Deliveries were made in the quoted schedule and there were no issues with damages. It is a big job taking on a renovation but when you have professional’s like Manhattan Cabinets to hold your hand it really helps!

We wanted to replace the vanity beneath our bathroom sink while preserving the existing marble counter top. Several vendors proposed to do this by removing the marble top at some risk of breaking it and inserting a new cabinet underneath it. Manhattan innovatively suggested rebuilding the existing box and then refacing it with new drawers and door. This approach cost significantly less and did not risk the top. The job was done promptly with a very high standard of workmanship. The craftsman who installed it worked around my schedule and did the job promptly and efficiently. In addition, he installed a new medicine chest that presented some difficulty since the wall was not plumb. We could not be more satisfied.

Our bathtub was recently reglazed by Manhattan Cabinets. The workmanship was excellent and of the highest quality. The finishing work was even and smooth, and the tub looks brand new! The glazer was meticulous in preparation and cleanup, and additionally he was friendly and most courteous. We are extremely pleased with the results, and we highly recommend Manhattan Cabinets.

My new cabinet doors are everything I wanted and more. The only problem was that the delay in installation due to an error on the part of the sales associate. What began as a kitchen renovation became the whole parlor floor of our brownstone. I usually do not write a review. Due to the amazing outcome I was compelled to do so. Our project was to combine the newly purchased 1 bedroom and our existing 2 bedroom. My wife and I interviewed over 10 contractors. Some never sent a quote, others where quoting more than the apartment cost. We then narrowed the list down to 3. We visited some of their projects. They all were fine. Most showed me an apartment that I found Issues with Sloppy paint jobs, lights not straight, uneven walls and doors that closed poorly. They all had excuses. For all the money we are about to spend, I just expected a better job. With pressure to start, my wife and I were about to select one of 3 contractors. The best of the mediocre Before the decision, I was passing Manhattan Cabinets. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed on their window “ We do full contracting” . I called Manhattan Cabinets the next day. Zee Akber, the owner, visited and as promised sent me a quote that week. He was in line with the other 3 contractors in review. I then viewed a project of his. It look very good if not great. I asked a few questions and he had all the correct answers. We discussed and negotiated and agreed on a price. Most important to us was a move back in date. We rented an apartment in the area for only 4 months. Prior to the start Zee had full discussions with the building super, engineer and our architect. On Day 1 - He professionally protected everything that was staying. By the end of the week the demo was completed. The work was elaborate: Combine the 2 apartments – Walls down. New walls up, New electrical outlets and panels, New lighting 30+ fixtures , New Floors – Everywhere, New Kitchen Island, Paint kitchen cabinets, New Bathroom, Update the current 2 bathrooms, redesign the existing bedroom for larger closets. 14 new doors some 7ft high. Run Data / Voice to every room. Smooth all the walls and paint each room a different color. Everyday we visited there was 3 to 6 people working on the apt. There was no complaints or issues with his men bring products from street deliveries to the apartment. Or back to the truck when we changed our mind on some 1000lbs of tiles. (twice) The entire apartment was kept clean, garbage was removed daily or bagged and put to the side for next dumpster load. Zee was always understanding when items did not arrive on the scheduled date and found other tasks for his men to work on. We were unable to find a Bathroom sink vanity with Zee excellent ability he built one for less than we would have paid store bought. We were so impressed with the vanity we had Zee build Heater - Air Conditioner Covers that looks perfect. He even added the extra touch of all the covers doors seal with magnets to allow any needed repair. Fast forward 4 months later we moved back into our apartment ON TIME. We knew there would be some work to be completed after moving back but the kids rooms were 100% completed which was important to us. Where there issues. Of Course. Without any complaint, excuses or finger pointing Zee took care of it. So my advice when looking for a contractor is as follows. Look at his work Then hire Manhattan Cabinets. PS: Zee even knew that Upper Eastside apartments built in the 50-60’s (Like mine) were built with metal frame door with the hinges welded to the door. If you ever got rid of the door side hinge you are in trouble. Who knows this? I man with experience!

"I love my contractor!" Words I never thought I'd say. We had a true partnership with Zee and his crew. We had Manhattan Cabinets gut renovate two bathrooms, install custom lighting throughout the apartment, reconfigure doors, install new kitchen and bathroom appliances and fixtures, expertly painted (and plaster) floor to ceiling throughout, and more. The results are amazing! Our master bathroom looks like something out of a magazine! The tile work is gorgeous (with custom niches) and the lighting and fixtures, rewiring and outlets were expertly installed. Manhattan Cabinets also made custom vanities with stone tops and cabinets for us, which are first-class. This was a complex project spanning two plus months. Like with any construction project, there were items that needed to be tweaked or revisited. With all construction work, the home owner needs to stay on top of all projects and be clear about what you want and expect. In 2017, I used Manhattan Cabinets, Inc to do major renovations to my UWS 2 br/1 ba co-op apartment. I had both my kitchen and bathroom completely gutted, and then redesigned & renovated. I had all the plumbing and electrical work re-done & brought up to code (nothing had been done by previous owner since 1980's). Ceiling renovated/dropped down to contain electrical re-wiring for new ceiling fan installation in both bedrooms. All the wooden floors were repaired, re-sanded, & re-finished/stained a darker, richer color. Total renovation cost was $110,000. I also had all new kitchen appliances installed, and a washer/dryer installed in the bathroom. Additional appliance cost: approx. $25,000. I highly recommend Manhattan Cabinets. They do Outstanding work. I dealt with the boss, Zee Akber, from start to finish. You will not be disappointed.

I am a non designer, very busy professional who is away frequently. Were we lucky to find Manhattan Cabinets and Zee, its owner. Zee helped me choose everything, fast, with excellent taste and to our budget. Our kitchen is practical, beautiful and everything I wanted. We live in a 100 year old very fussy building so paperwork then construction had to be difficult. His workers were polite, neat, and always on time. The punch list is of so few items it is really a pleasant surprise. The tiniest details were addressed quickly and even our super praised his staff as being easy to work with. Use them and you can rest easy.

After a lot of research we decided to buy all our kitchen cabinets from Manhattan Cabinets. Zee, the owner, is very knowledgeable. He listened patiently and provided several practical options. He came to inspect the cabinets after they were installed. Couple of cabinets, damaged during shipment, were prompted replaced. Also, we found his prices very competitive.

While not the least expensive option they came every day (=except for the snow storm) and finished the job in 6 weeks. While I had a reasonably extensive list of items for them to correct at the end of the job they came immediately to fix them. All in all I found this project (a kitchen renovation) to be as painless as possible under the annoying circumstances.

We used Manhattan Cabinets originally because, having decided on Kraftmaid cabinets, I was uneasy using Home Depot for kitchen planning. I did not find that Manhattan Cabinets was significantly more expensive than Home Depot. I felt I had more confidence in Manhattan Cabinets' price quote and in their design. We have a quirky townhouse in Park Slope Brooklyn and I wanted a company with the skill to deal with the inherent challenges. There were design challenges as well as physical challenges as I was dropping a new kitchen into an existing somewhat eclectic Victorian meets midcentury fully open first floor. To make it harder, colors had to be harmonized with distinctive yellow red and green stained glass windows without making it look like Christmas 1985. As I had hoped, Zee Akber and his colleagues steered me through the project perfectly. They are everything you want in a designer: insightful, helpful, skilled, and understanding of your needs and preferences, and reassuring when you get nervous. I followed most of their recommendations and all the recommendations were GOOD. I am sure they do a lot of high end Manhattan work but I never felt like I was being upsold or condescended to for my decidedly middle market project. Pictures to follow when counters done. The overall quality of the work done to repair water damage to our bathroom was excellent. More importantly, they were a pleasure to deal with, and when a few issues arose during the project they were addressed promptly, correctly and with good will.

Manhattan Cabinets' kitchen renovation in our studio pied-a-terre on Manhattan's Upper East Side exceeded our expectations We wanted to maximize our small, drab kitchen with new appliances and a more spacious counter, cabinets and drawers, as well as lighten its 1960's post-war appearance so that the area became both inviting and functional. Zee Akber, MC's owner, impressed us an honest, courteous, and patient person who really listened to what we envisioned, and to specific questions we raised along the way. He sized up the job's limitations (the basic configuration could not be altered because of the building's structural elements) and presented us with a proposal that was well thought through and competitively priced by New York standards. Zee advised us to go for clean lines with simple but elegant details. He pointed out safety features for the new floor that we had not considered. After gutting the kitchen, MC replaced all the electrical and plumbing work first. No surprise expenses beyond the original estimate. The entire job was executed neatly and in a timely fashion. Zee e-maied us photos periodically and kept in touch as the work progressed. Seeing the new, finished kitchen for ourselves and using it was the best part. I am thrilled with my new home thanking Manhattan Cabinets for their excellent craftsmanship and quality products. This was my second kitchen renovation(in another apt.) my first bathrooms renovated and carpentry work with Manhattan Cabinets. My project was completed within budget and very close to the actual time frame. The delay being caused by a supplier and additional work I requested. From beginning to end I was guided by a design associate/project manager (Steven Haas) and contractor (Z) with vast knowledge and ability to help me make the right decisions. Their on site visits were numerous. And importantly the quality of workmanship by the people employed by Manhattan Cabinets was excellent.

We worked with Manhattan Cabinets (MC) to renovate two bathrooms in our co-op apartment. MC (with Steve Haas as contractor) did an excellent job throughout the process -- from reviewing the quote and project scope with us through to completing the final punch list items. Despite a very tight timeline on our end, Steve and the team at MC worked with us every step of the way to meet our needs and expectations. They kept us informed throughout and were great at answering all our of questions and responding to any requests during the project. Based on our experience, it was clear that they really care that the client is happy with the finished product and will work to meet your requirements -- including providing thoughtful guidance throughout the project and ensuring that all requests are handled in a timely manner and to a great standard. In the few instances where we wanted something reworked or touched up, they were incredibly responsive, and we are very happy with the final product. Steve was a pleasure to work with throughout the project, the team on site was courteous and supportive, the tile work is excellent and the finished bathrooms look great. Zee and Manhattan Cabinets were super helpful when we moved in to our apartment and realized that the microwave was too low to cook on the stove top. They were able to match the wood to the original cabinets in a timely fashion to complete the look of our apartment. They were attentive and very professional. I've been working with Zee on new kitchen cabinets, after meeting with more than five other vendors throughout the city and in NJ. Price was competitive, but as important to me was the service-- Zee's patience, his willingness to meet and review design options as much as I needed and at the level of specificity that I wanted, and his attention to detail on my order set Manhattan Cabinets apart from the rest, and won my business. By comparison, the other vendors either insisted that I use their installation people (I already had a GC who would install); they were cautious about sharing the details of the cabinet layout; or prices seemed wildly high and were quite variable. As a result, buying cabinets for my GC to install was arguably the most difficult part of my entire reno. But Manhattan Cabinets/Zee has made this process smooth and as easy as it could be. In this vein, my order is in, and another vendor might very well be done with me at this stage in the process. But Zee continues to answer my Qs and he is standing by to make sure the order comes in correctly, offering me guidance on my GC's install for when the order comes in. Highly, highly recommended.

The team at Manhattan Cabinets repaired my master bathroom in my NYC coop apt. They had to assist in the diagnosis of the leak and replace the shower floor and walls with tile. The team was fantastic. The Manager of the job and the workers were knowledgable, managed the job timely, set and met expectations throughout the job and coordinated with other workers, (e.g. plumber, glass company, building Super, etc) in a manner that made everything run smoothly. Manhattan Cabinets have been wonderful professionals in our recent bathroom remodeling. It has been very refreshing to be able to tell Zee what kind of bathroom we wanted and for him and his team to take care of every aspect of the remodeling from taking out the old vanities, ripping out the old tile and base layer, waterproofing and sealing the floor, and laying the new tile. Through every part of the process we have been kept updated by the team. In fact, Zee has responded to my texts whenever I have sent them. The team has cleaned up after themselves as well and I really feel that we have been treated like family instead of a customer. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I initially went to MC to replace the floor cabinets in my kitchen and re-door the wall cabinets. Jerry was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated that she took the time to have an intricate discussion with me as to what I was trying to accomplish, and made recommendations on cabinets that were reasonably priced and had the quality and characteristics I was looking for. I had originally had a much more expensive brand in mind because I had never bought cabinets before, and many sellers would try to convince me to buy a high end brand or at least wouldn't try to talk me out of my original uninformed decision. I really felt that Jerry and Zee were sincere and trustworthy, so I decided to have MC do my bathroom renovation as well - replacing wall and floor tiles, vanity, accessories, shower and sink. MC offered very good prices. I had obtained quotes from 2 other contractors and both were asking for more by about $2,000 and were not as communicative. They were very very supportive and responsive, and very helpful and patient when I had to deal with issues obtaining co-op board approval. Their foreman Craig is wonderful and also very responsive. He explained everything that was going to be done the day he arrived and was very informative. I had a small leak under the sink after the job was completed and paid for, and when I texted him he was at my apartment to address it the same afternoon. I can't say enough good things about Manhattan Cabinets and their staff. Everyone has a great work ethic and really takes pride in what they do and takes care of their customers.

From beginning to end, Zaheer "Zee" Akber was instrumental in ensuring our vision was developed and executed. He helped us design a solution in a limited/awkward space that is extremely functional while maintaining the aesthetic qualities we desired. Along the way his communication and personal attention was outstanding. Every step of the way Zee addressed all of our questions right away. And even after receiving final payment, Zee helped us track down small replacement hardware making sure the job was complete. If you are getting KraftMaid cabinets go to Manhattan Cabinets! My contractor recommended KraftMaid Cabinets for our new kitchen. First, we went to Home Depot to speak with a "designer" and were less than confident when we left. Thank goodness I found Manhattan Cabinets who are authorized KraftMaid dealers. From the first contact (I emailed them and Zee followed up with a phone call), we had a great experience. There were no hard sell or persuasion tactics--only great old fashioned SERVICE!. Zee and Jerry listened to us when we told them about our vision, space, budget and how we use our kitchen. After helping us design the kitchen, Zee came to our renovation space and did the measurements himself. He created 20-20 drawings and worked closely with us as we made changes and refined them. When we had to keep rescheduling the cabinet delivery due to construction delays, Zee and Jerry handled it for us. There was never any problem. It was a great experience. They are professional, experienced, patient and generous with their knowledge and time. They also served as unofficial therapists for us because our renovation turned into one of those New York City nightmare stories.
