I had them do work in 2020 on my basement. My experience with them was a nightmare. I am writing this review 18 months later because I am still having issues with their extremely poor work. They were extremely unprofessional, got mud everywhere and were unable to complete the job as they couldn't find someone to finish the mudding that they messed up in the first place. I asked for textured walls with a smooth finish and a mop type texture on the ceiling. They decided to put this aweful popcorn type texture on the walls, ceiling everything. During this process they got mud over everything, my treadmill, furniture, vinyl machine, my food storage and other equipment. Instead of putting a simple tarp over it they simply decided that they would spray everything. When I told that that it would not do and that was not what I had requested they decided that the best way to remove the mud was with a circular sander. During the sanding process they completely tore up the drywall. Someone came and started the mudding process but after a few days he stopped showing up. When I confronted them about the delay they said that their mudder just up and quit without saying a word. During this time Edson couldn't answer my on when someone would be able to finish the mudding. He had a few guys come by and look at the basement but nothing came of it. About two weeks after the original mudder, who was fixing their original mistake came by and asked me what was going on and why I complained to Edson about how his mudding was coming along. He had apparently he had told Edson that he had a family emergency and that he would be gone for a week or two. I guess Edson decided to simply fire him and not tell me. Tape was peeling and bubbling. The corner of the walls they decided to put paper corners on it that ended up peeling When they started the electrical they had an electrician come by and talk to me about what I was looking to get. After talking to him and taking in some of his suggestions to enhance the lightning I never saw him again and Edson had his general handyman do all of the electrical. He left spliced wires outside of junction boxes, my two way switches in the main room were a direct connection and not actually two way switches. In order to get them to work I had a real electrician come by and fix it. With a lot of the electrical switches in the rooms they put it on the side the door opens so you can't just flip a switch when you walk in. I don't think they ever did get a building permit, nor did any inspections take place during the construction of the basement. I found out today that with the plumbing the took the water lines from my manifold that go to my kitchen sink and sent those to what would be the basement bathroom. The cold water has no shutoff anymore at the manifold and the hot water is connected to the dishwasher line. This makes it so that my dishwasher frequently fills up with water.
