We highly recommend Quality Designworks (QDW) for any home remodeling you may be considering. This is our second major remodeling project we selected QDW to do for us. From start to finish the attention to detail for our new kitchen was unparalleled. Heather Stephens designed the vision as we discussed what we wanted. Her creative, functional, and beautiful design is spectacular. The work is done mostly with employees, rather than a bunch of sub-contractors. Their craftmanship is first class, from the custom built self-closing cabinets, the detailed tile installation, and the way they clean up after a day’s work. The other impressive thing we appreciated is how they respected our home and our privacy. The daily communication from Danny, their field supervisor, let us know who and when their skilled staff would be in our home. I've remodeled several baths and it has not always turned out well usually because there was not a "Team effort". Quality Designworks has excellent crafts people in the cabinet shop, the plumbing shop, their tile guy (who is good at a lot of things) the "working" Job Supervisor, who also is going for material, communicating with customers and keeping everything on schedule, all communicating well and enjoying their job. They are constantly making sure the customer is aware of how the job is going and what could be done as an addition to the job, at that point in the construction process. They know you will probably make some changes along the way and accommodate you all the way. Heather Stephens has put together a great "team" who work to make the customer happy. She is an excellent designer who was a great help in making our dream project come together and I highly recommend Heather and Quality Designworks for yours.

Quality Designworks is the only company I would use. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, exactly when they said they were going to do it. Throughout the process the workers were very diligent and courteous. We were kept informed throughout the process as to the status and timing of each step. Could not be happier with how our kitchen looks.

On the basis of the Quality Designworks website, and comparing it to other similar companies, I selected Quality Designworks to do some major improvements to a 30-year old house that I purchased in Gainesville, Florida. First, I wanted someone who would function as a single point of contact and manage the project, so I would not have to deal separately with carpenters, painters, plumbers, and so on. Second, I wanted someone who could excel at a clean, contemporary look, to the extent possible in this house. Quality Designworks exceeded my expectations on both counts. The workmanship and fit and finish on the bookcases and cabinets is outstanding. The painters came back again and again to do touch up. The chief of staff himself came back to fit the doors (I had replaced all of the interior doors in the house, which were hollow plywood). Every phase of the work was completed without my having to do my own punch list and call and beg for someone to come back and fix some detail. I have previously owned houses in the Boston, MA, and Madison, WI, areas. I am so pleased that I was able to obtain work of this quality in Gainesville, where I have recently relocated on a permanent basis. This project was begun in April, 2019, and completed in early June. I was very satisfied with the cost and timeliness; admittedly the quality of the work was more important to me than shopping for the best price. In addition, Quality Designworks gave excellent recommendations for landscaping and pool maintenance. I had no way of evaluating candidates for that work.

I am very happy with the project that Heather and her team undertook for our recently purchased home. Heather has an eye for design and knowing what works well with the structure, color scheme and "theme" that I am aiming for. The new counter, backsplash, paint colors and new flooring are a breath of fresh air. Heather was right there whenever I had questions, and I'm sure I didn't always make it easy as I couldn't always articulate what exactly I wanted.....but she seemed to know!

Quality Design Works, simply put, is the gold standard for the highest quality in home remodeling. This is not hype. It's reality. I've worked with many contractors, so I know something about the range of what one can expect. QDQ stunned me by being so much better than I expected. This project took over three months and was very expensive. And it was absolutely worth every penny! Our point of contract with QDW was Heather. She was a design professional and project manager par excellence. From inception of the design through final completion she was there all the time. Problems were resolved and she communicated with us constantly. How different from other general contractors! Of course, as in all projects, there are glitches and miscommunications, but Heather worked them through and kept us in the loop. Other general contractors we've had didn't do that, and it is VERY appreciated. Don't get me wrong -- there were occasional issues. Yet when we let Heather and QDW know of our concerns, they worked them until we were happy. No matter what. QDW mostly uses its in-house people -- they don't sub out as a rule, except for some electrical. They use the best materials and the quality is everywhere apparent. As to the stuff that counts in bathroom and kitchen renovation --: design, tiling, flooring, carpentry, cabinetry -- if you hire QDW you get QDW people. They are masters of their trades. Danny was our project foreman and he led the team with professionalism and superb attention to detail. He's a pro and it shows in every way - he kept us on the right track and the same with his crew. He juggled many balls and didn't drop them. He personally worked through the various problems that will inevitably arise. Worked them until we and he were satisfied. Other names in our crew that really need shout-outs: Ryan -- the "do it all" and master of all. From exquisite tiling to flooring, he did it all and it was a wonder to behold. Did I say the highest order of attention to the finest detail? This is what a master craftsman does, and Ryan does it supremely well. Joe did our cabinetry. You just won't find this high quality of work out there any more - except that I found it with Joe and QDW. I find myself opening our new cabinets just to admire the workmanship. Travis was there from beginning to end and could be counted on -- again -- to do it right. I can't say enough for this crew and this firm. You watch people in your house every day, and you'll know if they're any good. And they are! You want a first class job worthy of the magazines and TV shows? HIre QDW. They're not cheap -- but you truly get what you pay for! "Builder grade" they are NOT! I'd hire them again and recommend them. And no, they're not paying me for this!

Quality Designworks has transformed my home twice now- once, by converting my screened lanai into a comfortable multi-purpose room, and then again, when they built an in-law suite to suit our needs. Their entire staff were very professional and prompt. Any concerns were addressed immediately and I always felt heard. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend them to anyone looking to create new living spaces in their home.

We chose Quality Designworks to remodel the master bath in our 30 year old log home. Heather expertly guided us through the selection process and made it much easier than if we had tried it alone. The demolition was done carefully and within a few days our bathroom was a clean slate. Ryan was very efficient and we are very pleased with all his tile work. Our cabinets are beautiful. Danny orchestrated the remodeling process and kept us informed as to who was coming and what would be done each day. We highly recommend Quality Designworks.

Quality Designworks remodeled our master bath; we replaced the spa tub & small shower with open shower with large glass wall. Heather designed a beautiful bath from our ideas; she was patient with our questions & always available. Danny & crew were professional & kept us informed on progress & next steps; finished on time & on budget. Quality work from quality people. Plan to have them remodel guest bath soon!

This was the first time we used Quality Design and we would not hesitate to use their services again. We appreciated their suggestions while they respected our opinions and needs. They reviewed every step with us before construction. During construction they were prompt, courteous, and thorough. The inconvenience of having demolition and reconstruction was minimal and the results were fantastic.

What a very positive experience with Quality Designworks! Over the years, like with many, we have done several updates re bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Never have we had such a flawless project experience. The project process is easy, you first take pics and general measurements and go into their studio to see their displays. Then the official process begins with them coming to your home to view your style of decor and accomplishing the official measurements. We gave them a set budget and they worked within that range without challenge. One thing that we really liked was that there was absolutely no pressure to spend more $$. The choices were laid out within our price range and it all moved along very quickly. They gave us a timeframe of 3-4 weeks for completion; they were completed in 3 weeks and 3 days. FANTASTIC. We cannot say enough about their professional expertise, the designer handling the project, the project manager and their very courteous, friendly, thoughtful and well skilled staff - from the installation of new cabinets, tile work, carpentry, painting, placement of all the new appliances and cleanup. The other benefit was all the staff (workers) directly work for Quality Designworks and no sub-contractors are utilized. GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU QUALITY DESIGNWORKS!
