I have built two homes and have also addressed two major remodels prior to meeting Scott. This has been by far the most pleasant experience to date. Scott built the most beautiful library bookcases with rolling ladder. the custom work house three large boat models and a large leather bound book collection. His vision to complete the library included replacing the fireplace mantel so it matched perfectly with the bookcases. The finished carpentry exceeded all expectations. I had a picture of a large built in buffet that I shared with Scott-his encouragement and enthusiasm for this project and his ideas to customize it for our dining room led me to go forward and now our finished buffet is user friendly and beautiful. I so appreciate how clean and tidy he left projects during and after completion. I could not to be more pleased !

Update. Things went south when Scott made a door for me that was measured wrong. I paid for it, then noticed it and asked him to come replace it. He would not without charging me twice for the same door. Not a professional response at all on a mistake he made. Think twice. Scott was extremely responsive, upfront on work estimate in terms of cost and timeline, and easy to work with. We had a challenging project and he was willing to create something outside the box of normal and boring. I would definitely recommend him for his professionalism and the quality of his work!

I have had the pleasure of hiring Scott/R.S. Stapleton Company for numerous projects in my home. He built and created a beautiful stairway/railing, and wrapped pillars and beams in a beautifully stained wood to match. He designed a gorgeous lit cabinet/hutch to house our wine, and a built-in large dresser and bookcases for our bedroom. Our latest project was a garage/man cave using reclaimed wood and copper top countertops. Scott is extremely talented with amazing creativity!! He's very professional, and has always been on budget and met our timeline. He's a great communicator and leaves the job site super tidy!!!
