Smartwood Cabinets

Smartwood cabinets and owner James Green did an outstanding job of designing, planning, fabricating, and installing gorgeous walnut cabinets as part of a major kitchen expansion and remodel. Communications were excellent throughout the project. I am an engineer and was particularly impressed with the quality of fit and finish in parts of the cabinetry that no one will ever see. There were no significant surprises and a couple of minor hiccups were handled swiftly and professionally. We would gladly use them again and recommend to anyone.

We hired James to construct our guest baths vanity and cabinetry above the toilet area in our bathroom. We were very pleased with the professionalism that James provided along the way, he was there to provide suggestions and always answered any questions we had during the process. We are exceptionally pleased with our new space, it now provides the necessary storage we needed and the quality is top notch. We are looking forward to working with James and Smartwood Cabinets in the near future and would highly recommend him.

I hired James Green/Smartwood Cabinets to construct a TV cabinet for a difficult-to-fit spot, in addition to a custom guest bath cabinet and custom file cabinets. He helped me design a pieces that met my needs (and the difficult-to-fit spot!) and delivered all three high quality products in the time frame promised. I would say they were exactly what I had in mind, but they were actually better! I liked them all so much, I immediately hired James for a second project... that came out equally beautiful. Wish I had more spots in my house to fill!

James Green has done numerous updates and additions to our home. These include a built-in wall unit in our study, converting a 1970's wetbar into a beautiful bookshelf/cabinet unit, and a custom fireplace mantle. James is a master at his craft and we have always been very happy with the results! He is easy to work with, curteous and completes the job within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend this company!
