Southwest Kitchen & Bath

My husband and I finally made the decision that it was time to update our 1991 kitchen. After contacting various contractors and a "design consultant" from a big-box store and touring a cabinet shop and a flooring retailer, we were simply overwhelmed with all the decisions that we would have to make, from deciding on the layout to finding all the different vendors for the cabinets, the appliances, the countertops and the tile and the finishes and the electrical and lighting and on and on. I finally made the only call I needed to make from the start, Southwest Kitchen and Bath. Designer, Laura Wallace listened carefully to what we thought we wanted, adding her own ideas, measured the space and then, a week later, presented us with a very detailed, preliminary schematic of what our kitchen could be. And it turned out even better than that! I can't say enough good things about Laura Wallace and the design team from SW Kitchen and Bath. The whole process, from the first meeting to the final installations was fantastic. They communicated with us regularly, coordinated and managed the various contractors, and made sure everything was on schedule with very few glitches. The contractors that they work with are as committed to the client as they are. Every contractor not only accommodated ideas and additions to the plan from us, they gave US ideas and changes that helped to make the remodel even better. And they are all really fun to work with! While we didn't change the footprint of the original kitchen and buffet and what has become our new bar area, the redesign of the cabinets, the countertops and appliances and the change in the layout of shelves, drawers and pullouts has turned what was a good kitchen into a gourmet chef's kitchen and entertainment space with storage galore! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Southwest Kitchen and Bath! We would do it all again in a second!

I am very pleased with Southwest Kitchen & Bath. We recently remodeled our kitchen and I researched several different design companies in Tucson. Matt at Southwest Kitchen was the only one who really sat down with me and listened to my wishes and issues and BUDGET! He allowed me to tweak the design he created without letting his ego get involved. He kept it fun and really looked at creative ways of staying within our budget without sacrificing quality or design. Matt really was the reason why I chose SWKB...he was fun to work with and very personable. The whole team was really easy to work with and we were pretty much on schedule. Darin was fun to work with and we worked through a couple of hiccups and he was always very positive and kind. Great communication with Stacey and Wina which helped the project to stay on track. We are so happy with the end result and we drastically improved the functionality and modernized our kitchen while maintaining the character of our home. Thank you so much for making this possible.

Over the summer Laura at Southwest Kitchen had us photograph two of her kitchen designs. One a refresh of an older kitchen and the other a complete build from scratch. Both were done with style and superb detail. She is a very talented designer with a great group of professionals.

We had such a great experience working with Maria at Southwest Kitchen & Bath. We started out not really knowing what we wanted and she helped guide us to a design that made sense for us in terms of function, budget, and aesthetics. The cabinets we selected look absolutely wonderful and are very well made. The contractor provided by SW Kitchen did high quality work -- everything was done right and on time. Per SW Kitchen's recommendations, we found some beautiful granite slabs, as well as the perfect faucets and light fixtures. All in all, it was a great experience working with the SW team and we ended up with our dream kitchen!

After researching possible companies to remodel my kitchen I was lucky enough to find Maria at Southwest Kitchen and Bath. She was awesome! She was so professional and wonderful to work with. She answered all of my queries immediately and always made me feel at ease. She even helped me pick out granite in the middle of the summer heat! Stacey was great, too, as well as Darin, the installer, Tucson Stoneworks, Monark and Benjamin Supply. This was a turnkey project and it turned out perfectly. As Maria always says "I love my job"! And she does it well. I hope I have many opportunities to recommend her and Southwest Kitchen and Bath. Thank you all for a job well done!

For the renovation of our retirement home we worked with designer Laura Wallace from SouthWest Kitchen & Bath, an outfit which we can definitely also recommend. They also proposed we worked with Meeks Maintenance & Construction LLC for our project and after visiting with the specific team on another construction site we decided to hire them for our project. We can also highly recommend the Meeks team! Our project is nearly finished and we only have very positive things to say about our experience. We called, made the appointment and Laura Wallace came to our home. Laura, after looking the situation over in our kitchen, was very definite in her plans to make sure that my wife got the kitchen she wanted. Laura took her time, she also took pictures, wrote down some measurements, and then told us that she would have the subcontractors come out and measure the countertop and draw a plan of action. We met Laura at the shop one week later, and she had some definite plans, in the direction in which we should move forward. We found the quality of the cabinet in which we selected was far above our expectations than we first realized. We are very satisfied with the design and the function of our kitchen. The cost was lower than the first though we were given some different options in the cabinets and the design. We counter on Laura's professionalism, and integrity to lead us in the right direction of our decision. We are very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and countertop, we found that Darin and Bill knew exactly what they were doing and got it done and on time. This project being completed in a timely fashion and on schedule was something new for this household to experience. Arie the countertop man went beyond the call of duty, in the installation of the countertop, water lines, garbage disposal hook-up, just to make sure all the lines were connected and done in the true professionalism that we came to expect from Southwest Kitchen and Bath. We had a very small situation involving the removal of the cabinets from the front yard, that day, but Jill and Laura perceive the situation and problem, and relieve the problem instantaneously. I thank you. Both my wife and I would highly recommend Southwest Kitchen and Bath to a friend or someone who is looking for Kitchen and bathroom work to be done in their home. We have given out Laura's card to three other people since then. Southwest Kitchen and Bath not only lived up to what they said they would do, they got it done on time and our kitchen now is brighter, looks larger, and has a sense of friendly, warm, usable kitchen. After consulting with a few kitchen and bath construction companies, we decided to go with Southwest Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen and small main bathroom. It was a great decision! Laura, our designer, came up with the best design that was not only beautiful, but it really fit our needs. She and the rest of the staff communicated well, were prompt and always made us feel like their #1 customers. The contractor Darin, was also fantastic. He was very flexible, easy going and really took great pride in his work. What else I appreciated about Southwest K & B is I never felt nickel and dimed and they really try to stay within your budget. (we went over, but that was our fault). I really felt we got a great value even with all the money we spent. Again, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We look forward to working with the team at Southwest K & B on future projects.

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced. In the guest bath we had new tub, tile surround, toilet, vanity, granite and lighting. Our master bath had the same except for the tub. Dennia and her boss, Mel, were exceptional with their service, smiling faces and checking up to make sure everything was going well.
