Strong Cabinetry

Ron was fantastic to work with for my pantry shelving project. I had a very specific vision for clean floating shelves with a built-in wine rack. He was very knowledgeable on what would be possible and how to achieve it. The materials were very high quality and his workmanship was extremely well done. It was completed in 2 days, which was amazing. I absolutely love the end result and it's exactly what I had in mind. Ron has a wonderful personality, easy to work with and I would highly recommend working with him. I plan to use Ron again for future projects.

We purchased a house that had some dated built-ins. The built-ins themselves were in great condition but had a section that would limit the size of TV to an old fashioned tube TV. We decided the best way would be to remove just that section and have someone build out new cabinets to fill in the gap. The contractor we were using to paint our built-ins and kitchen cabinets had recommended Ron for the modification. I contacted Ron and he was extremely responsive and came out for an estimate within a week. He had no issues understanding what I was visualizing and gave me suggestions on how we could cut down on the cost (by removing the old cabinets ourselves and moving the wiring). With his guidance, we were able to remove the section of the old built-ins with no issues. He came in the next couple days after to take more precise measurements. We were on a bit of a tight schedule and Ron was kind enough to make it work. He came in and installed the cabinets in time for them to be painted and my goodness, they look as if they were part of the original build! You honestly can't tell that they were added in after the fact. In my opinion, the price was a little high, especially considering we removed the old cabinets ourselves and did the rewiring of the electrical stuff ourselves, but you are getting top quality work and I believe it was worth every penny.

Ron Strong did an outstanding job of a kitchen remodel in 2013. The quality of craftsmanship was superb; the site was cleaned up each evening; Ron coordinated all work on the the project, including painting, electrical work, counter installation, etc. A variety of problems (in 1930s kitchen, "updated" in 1970s) were solved with imagination and great skill, and the roll-outs are a delight to use.

Ron and Scott Strong were a perfect match for my complete kitchen remodel. From the beginning, they had the talent and ability to entirely understand my wishes and needs – even knowing what I needed more than I did myself – and every detail of the layout and cabinetry was on point. Not even one tiny detail had to be reworked! Everything was completed on time and on budget and I now have the kitchen of my dreams.

The results were terrific. We then used their services to update our kitchen cabinets. Ron Strong and his team replaced old cabinets with pull-out drawers for more convenient storage. They also replaced a corner cabinet and all cabinet doors. The kitchen looks as if it has been completely remodeled. Ron Strong/Strongrollout completed two jobs in my home. Ron and his team are meticulous in their attention to detail starting with their first visit to your home. They are happy to provide remodeling suggestions and to share their best known methods to help you have the best outcome for your project. Ron replaced all of my kitchen drawers and cabinet doors in my 1940’s kitchen; the finished job was beautiful. We achieved the look and feel of a 1940’s kitchen with all of the comfort and ease of rollout soft close drawers. He made it possible for me to have a dishwasher installed when I had been told in the past that it was not possible due to the depth of my counters. His second project was in my living room. He reconfigured an existing built in bookcase, changing the shelving, adding glass front doors and creating an opening for a TV. Ron and his crew are true “finish carpenters”. I give them my highest recommendation.

Evaluation of Strong Roll-Out Shelf & Drawer Inc. We met Ron Strong and company at the Santa Clara home show over six years ago. We were impressed with their products and their team’s friendliness and professionalism. They clearly stood out over their competition. Over the last seven years, we have had Ron Strong install several different projects, the first one being the largest – installing full extension door glides along with new drawers throughout our entire home. Our old drawers were not taking advantage of the full depth of our counter. We now have appreciably more drawer space than before. With the addition of the full extension glides, we now have our dream kitchen. The first project (2008) also included making an entire new cabinet for our built-in 24” deep side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigerator, along with a new working pantry. Ron was able to make the new cabinet to match exactly with our existing raised panel oak cabinets, including a perfect stain match. His work is exceptional. On subsequent projects (2011 & 2013 & 2014) Ron has converted our unused kitchen desk foot space into an awesome wine storage area by installing drawers with full extension glide pull outs covered with new matching stained oak raised panel doors. Ron and crew were always on time for the installations, very knowledge and professional and extremely courteous. One more very important thing, after leaving each day Ron’s crew thoroughly cleaned the work area. It was like they had not even been working on my home and that’s something my wife really appreciated! I’m very picky about the quality of work I’m paying for and Ron Strong’s quality exceeded my expectations, even while his prices were competitive. Ron came to my rescue after my former painter tried to modify my hinges for Euro hinges but the painter really was working on something above his ability & ended up making a mess of things. Ron quickly came out & assessed the situation & we settled on what to do to improve & solve the problem...I ended up hiring Ron to redo the roll out drawers, then I decided to have him finish installing roll out drawers in my whole kitchen (had previously had him do about 11 shelves & 3 drawers in 2010. I also had him do new doors for the entire kitchen where he improved the look of the kitchen by changing the length of the doors to fit the space, closing gaps etc. He is a perfectionist & the kitchen cabinets show this. He was very easy to work with & spent many hours in the kitchen making notes & measurements before the work was even started so that everything turned out perfect. He was also able to recommend other professionals to help in this project which made it much easier for me. I would highly recommend Ron for any work he is hired to do. Ron Strong provides professional and quality product. He custom built and installed our kitchen cabinets over 25 years ago. We recently had these same kitchen cabinets updated. The existing cabinets and doors were retained, re-sanded and painted to bring these cabinets up it up to date. He worked with our painter and between the 2 of them produced a product that was top quality!
