My experience with Cabinet Restoration Company LLC was amazing from start to finish and far exceeded my expectations . I chose Cabinet Restoration Company LLC based on a referral from a friend after seeing her beautiful kitchen. In my kitchen all of the old cabinets were removed and new cabinets were installed. Pete Simonello, the owner was very responsive, detail oriented and very hands on. Pete keeps you informed about any and all potential delays. He responds to each and every email quickly. Pete actually created the glass front cabinets to store my cookbooks since the old bookshelf was being removed. Steve (who also did my friend’s kitchen ) was my Master Cabinetmaker. I cannot say enough about Steve. He is the best! Steve’s attention to detail, work ethic, craftsmanship and desire to create a beautiful kitchen is amazing. Steve is the ultimate professional and truly a cabinet master. I am truly happy with every aspect of the finished product. Steve even paid close attention to the smallest details like the degree opening of every cabinet door. This small detail makes a big difference. The price was very fair and the craftsmanship is outstanding. I love cooking in my new kitchen. Cabinet Restoration Company, LLC was without question the right choice.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Pete and Steve from the Cabinet Restoration Company. We had reached dead-ends with more than one other company including a contractor that ghosted us after we reached the final planning stage and spent 1/2 day doing cabinet and hardware selections at his preferred showroom. Once we contacted The Cabinet Restoration Company, Pete made the planning and estimating process extremely simple, and Steve did a nearly flawless job on the installation. In our case, the old wall cabinets were beginning to pull apart at their joints but the base cabinets were in good shape. Steve was able to replace the upper cabinets while leaving the lower cabinets in place and refacing them with matching doors, veneered fronts, and new drawer glides and door hinges. The results are perfectly matched upper and lower cabinets which no one but us knows was not a full replacement. The ability to supply both new cabinets and perform refacing allowed us to keep our granite and wood countertops, tiled backsplash, sink and cooktop in place saving a huge amount of time, money and effort while also allowing us to use the kitchen during the renovation process since Steve took time to clean up at the end of every day. Overall, an exceptional result and I can recommend The Cabinet Restoration Company without reservation -their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to quality are truly outstanding.

Pete, the owner, is very responsive to emails and incredibly patient while we were figuring out other contractors before we actually signed the contract. When I decided to have my 48-year old cabinets refinished I contacted five companies. The Cabinet Restoration Co. was the only one to get back to me. From the first contact to the finished job I was quite impressed. Pete and his staff hit all of the high points I look for. They understood what I wanted and were very clear in explaining what they could do and how it would be done.They kept me informed every step of the way. After reading all that they would do I was afraid the bottom line (the price) would be more than I could handle. But to my surprise it was under my lowest estimate. The project was finished ahead of schedule, the quoted price never changed and the cabinets look great. I’ve received many compliments. Customer service was definitely an added plus. Given the option I would have chosen more than five stars.

After a false start with another company, I asked the Cabinet Restoration Company whether they could refinish my dated, but good quality golden oak kitchen cabinets with a mid-century modern walnut stain. Not only did they immediately know the look I was after, they executed it to perfection! Skilled, reliable, sensitive to my property and pleasant to work with.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with The Cabinet Restoration Company. We had a large kitchen built in 1992 that needed a facelift in Clarksville, MD. The original cabinets were high-end, custom-built, quality cabinetry that didn't really make sense to get rid of completely. The tricky part was we wanted to make some cabinet layout changes for different appliances which required replacing some cabinets while only refacing others, and we weren't using a general contractor. Pete Simonello worked closely with us and was very patient with our many changing ideas and questions. It required a lot of coordination since we were also renovating the rest of the house, and they were very amenable to our always changing timelines. The end result is fantastic. The project took about 4-5 weeks to complete. Steve Cropper, who did the work, was by far the best contractor we've ever worked with. He took such great care of our home (put up plastic walls sealing the whole kitchen off and protective flooring to/from exterior doors), was always courteous and friendly, kept us in the loop of the work being done, and his attention to detail with our kitchen was next level. I can be a stickler for details, but Steve's work quality was just outstanding. We still say to this day we wish we could use Steve for every project in our home. I was hesitant to reface kitchen cabinets in a high-end home, thinking it may not last or hold its value and end up being a waste of money if we had to replace the cabinets in the end regardless. It's been about a year since completing the project and I'm still floored every time we walk into the kitchen. Everything is holding up perfectly, and even I'm none the wiser that the cabinets were ever refaced at all. I also can't tell the difference between the new and refaced cabinets despite being side-by-side. And I'm the usually the first person to look at something, scan the details, and judge the quality. We saved a huge amount of money over full cabinet replacements, and were just so pleased with the whole process and the high quality. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cost-effective way to update their kitchen cabinetry.

A total refacing of all kitchen cabinets with wood doors, new hinges and pulls, and the installation of a larger, custom cabinet to accommodate a large double wall oven. The project went very smoothly and was on budget and on time. The kitchen was sealed off so that no dust and dirt seeped into the rest of the house. Our Certified Kitchen Technician, Steve Cropper, was skilled, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The cabinets look brand new. I would highly recommend this company and look forward to working them on future projects.

I must say after trying a couple different options on redoing my cabinets I chose Cabinet Restoration. I worked with Pete who was very very helpful and patient as he answered my questions and walked me thru the best option. The results are just stunning. The wear and tear is gone and a new set of knobs installed has brought them back to their former luster. Additionally they came in on target and on budget. Truly exceptional work.

I am extremely pleased with the service provided and outcome of the cabinets. The finished product is better than I expected! We needed to have our two large bathroom vanities refurbished and refinished. The work done by Pete and Joe was exceptional. And they were a joy to work with. We are totally delighted. I had new cabinet doors and drawer fronts installed and although I passed up refacing adjacent areas in order to keep the cost down the match of whites was perfect so it looks like a brand new kitchen. Eugene and Dylan did the installation and what perfectionists! These people are true craftsmen and I can't praise their work highly enough.

I am SO pleased with the work that The Cabinet Restoration Company did in our kitchen. Steve was incredible to work with. He was kind, hard-working, a perfectionist and my son loved him. I was so happy with the condition of the space while he was working-he went out of his way to make sure the place stayed as clean and neat as possible given we had two small children in the house. I was amazed at how committed he was to finishing the project on time, including working on weekends and staying late, even with a two hour commute each way. The kitchen looks beautiful and we are so happy with the outcome.

They did an amazing job at a reasonable price. Emory, the installer, was professional and meticulous. We had 30 year old maple cabinets that were showing their age, and we refaced with white painted maple - and the difference is incredible. I have a bit of carpentry experience and can be fairly picky, but these guys did everything perfectly. Every part of the part process was smooth and professional. They won't try to over-sell you, they just want you to be happy. This is the second time I have used them, and could not be more pleased.

These guys did a wonderful job. Totally transformed our kitchen. Their attention to detail was exemplary. The finished product superb. This is defiantly the best way to refinish your cabinets. Pricey, but worth every penny. I would recommend these folks in a heartbeat.

We had planned to do this job with a big box store, but we were just not comfortable with how we thought it would go after reading reviews. I Googled and found Cabinet Restoration Company and am so very glad I did! Though the company is based close to PA they came to our home in Rockville, traveling nearly 3 hrs each way every day to do the work. Pete did the contacting and estimating and was very professional and pleasant, and we were confident from reading reviews and seeing photos of projects that the quality would be good. Even so, we were not expecting the fastidious and exacting approach that Steve and his helper, Luke, took to the job, working with precision and seemingly endless energy to make every detail perfect. We are extremely pleased with our results and the pricing and can not give enough credit to the very fine work this team produced. We highly recommend this company!

I used Cabinet Restoration Company to resurface some cabinets and also install some new cabinets. From beginning to end the project went very smoothly. The owner was very knowledgable and the installer was a skilled carpenter who handled every detail of the project. My kitchen was completed in five days and on budget exactly as promised. My wife and I are thrilled with our new kitchen! And we have nothing but praise for Cabinet Restoration Unlimited (CRU) which provided our cabinets. Having spent my career in the 'high end' furniture industry, I have a good sense of quality materials and quality construction, and we wanted these characteristics in our new cabinets. We also wanted everything installed with a high level of care and finesse. Customizing was also a requirement. Ours is a galley space, about 6.5' wide by 13' long with a standard-depth counter on one side and a shallow-depth counter on the other. Maximizing storage and efficient use of space was paramount. CRU listened to our needs, and accommodated virtually all of our requests. That ability to accommodate was partly the capability of the cabinet manufacturer that CRU utilizes, and partly the capability of the installation team. On-site conditions sometimes present challenges for product installation. This demands that one have a cool head and the ability to creatively-resolve these situations. CRU's lead installer is that rare breed of craftsman and genius wrapped within a pleasant, resourceful and dedicated person. In short, what was promised on the front, he made a reality on the back end. We are delighted with the result. The product and work provided by Cabinet Restoration Unlimited was invaluable. Good customer service is unfortunately hard to come by these days, which was what made The Cabinet Restoration Company really stand out. Pete, the owner, always responds to questions in a timely manner (and I had a lot of them!). He clearly laid out the plans for my kitchen and gave me a detailed invoice so there were no surprise costs. The installer, Rob, was friendly and knowledgable. My kitchen looks great!

I wanted my cabinets redone, island replaced and desk removed and replaced with a china cabinet and drawers. Everyone was very responsive and did everything in a timely manner from Pete coming to my house to discuss the project to Steve installing and completing it. We just had our kitchen cabinets refaced. It was a wonderful experience. Pete was so easy to deal with and very knowledgeable and took the time to explain each of our options. He would reply back to my emails within a few hours and the job was quickly set up. Kevin, the installer did an amazing job. He was very friendly and a hard worker. He cleaned up at the end of the day staying late each day to finish what he was working on. The project was finished in 4 days instead of the 5 we had scheduled. We contracted with The Cabinet Restoration Company to reface our original oak kitchen cabinets (house built in 1999) to a more modern and elegant off-white style. We chose a Presidential Miter/Hard Maple in Frosty White with a Coffee Glaze. From start to finish, The Cabinet Restoration Company was a model for excellent customer service, professionalism and an all-around quality contractor. The amount of detail that was put into this project was beyond our expectations. Our cabinets required a considerable amount of repair and prep work to prepare them for the re-facing. The installer transformed our kitchen into something beyond our imagination. It looks like we have brand new cabinets instead of re-faced cabinets. This was a great investment to our home. For anyone considering a change in their kitchen cabinets, I strongly suggest this company. Not only are they excellent at what they do, every single person we worked with throughout this process (Pete, Steve, Tyler) were great people too!

I cannot say enough great things about The Cabinet Restoration Company. They provided me the service of refinishing 40-year-old cabinets in my kitchen. I have recently had a number of people visit my house and not one person can believe that these are not brand new cabinets. In addition to these exceptional results, the entire process was executed extremely well. All parts of the process were communicated to me ahead of time, and things went EXACTLY as planned. Whenever I had a question, Peter Simonello responded quickly, and I began to know that I could count on him for excellent advice and suggestions. He advised me regarding color, sheen, hardware, molding, and toe kicks. He took it upon himself to repair some carpentry problems with our homemade shelving. Once scheduled, the refinishing process went entirely as scheduled. The draping and protection installed for the walls, floors, appliances, etc. worked beautifully, and nothing was damaged. There were no add-ons or change orders. As you can see, I would recommend this company to anyone.

We are very pleased with the product and service we received from Cabinet Restoration. We had our kitchen cabinets refaced in a light gray which I selected from regular paint chip samples. Then the cabinets got a thin black glaze application all over which really made the detailing pop on the Shaker style doors. We've received many compliments on the new look. Pete Simonello was always courteous, helpful and professional and his installer, Steve, was a delight to work with... talented, hard-working and totally professional. We have two Golden Retrievers and Steve was wonderful with them even when they wanted to "help". We would recommend this company without hesitation.

Mr. Simonello refinshed my kitchen cabinets which now look brand new He replace all hardware and recentered the doors and drawers. The price was reasonable. He was extremely professional, arriving on time and telling me everything that he was going to do and how long it would take. The job was completed on time. I had my existing cabinets refaced, and some new cabinets added in my kitchen. We were looking to update and give the kitchen an affordable "facelift". I feel like we got so much more! Complete cabinet refacing. Pete and Steve were very professional and the work Steve performed was amazing. He tented my kitchen which kept all the dust from going into the other rooms. When the job was complete he cleaned up and it was spotless. Pete ran into a couple of snags with the material from the manufacturer, but he was so kind and courteous explaining everything to me even though it put us behind schedule, I knew he just wanted the project to be perfect.

Peter Simonello and his team refinished all of our kitchen cabinets and created two custom pillars and an arch for our home. His team was extremely professional, on time, clean and explained the entire process for us. The doors to the cabinets were taken off site for work for 2-3 weeks and then the bases and work that needed to be complete on site took about 2-3 days. He coordinated with me while I replaced the granite and tile in the kitchen and was very helpful in making sure I understand the stages and steps to the rest of our kitchen renovation so he could complete his section. I would recommend Pete and his team to anyone. I looked around, researched, and interviewed at least a dozen kitchen renovators, remodelers, and companies and no one stood up to Pete. Even better, Pete's work exceeded our expectations giving us what look like brand new cabinets!

We cannot say enough about the entire process from inception to completion. Initially Pete came out and explained our options and discussed the entire process in detail. He explained how certain cabinet finishes would work better with our granite and offered some very good choices. Once we made our selections we set up a time to have Steve do the installation. In addition to refacing the cabinets, Steve noticed that our microwave had been improperly installed. He re-installed it and properly secured it to the wall and cabinet. He also built a cabinet above the refrigerator to give the entire kitchen a quality finished look. We found out that Steve was much more than strictly a cabinet installer, he could also do quality custom renovations. Our next project will include getting our two bathrooms renovated and we will certainly be giving Pete and Steve a call. Wonderful experience from start to finish. Pete came out within a day of my initial phone call to discuss my options with me. At first, I was not certain if I wanted to refinish my existing cabinets or reface. After talking with Pete and getting the estimate, I decided to reface to get a newer look. The estimate came in much less than I thought it would which included a few upgrade options (ie. the new cabinet, paneled sides, bead board around island). Scheduling the field visit was very smooth. My installer, Emory, was even willing to come out on a Sunday since that was the only time that was going to work for me. Emory was also very helpful and made some additional suggestions to me that I would not have thought about (ex. reversal of door openings to create more symmetry around my oven). Pete stayed in touch with me as we waited for materials to come in and install started as scheduled. Shawn did most of the installation and he too was wonderful. He left me with a clean kitchen everyday so that I could actually cook at night. Dust was kept to a minimum with plastic hung during the day and removed each night. Shaun was meticulous in his workmanship. I am thrilled with what seems like a brand new kitchen

The project involved remodeling our kitchen to install new cabinet doors, granite countertops, new appliances, replacement of the island, and other cabinet reconfigurations. The work was performed in a professional manner and the quality of the finishes product is outstanding. We couldn't be more pleased.

“We recently used Cabinet Restoration to reface our 50 year old wood cabinets (original birch cabinets). We decided to pursue re-facing which involved veneering the existing cabinets, finishing off all the corners/joining surfaces, replacing the moulding on top of the cabinets, and installing brand new doors and drawer fronts. Upon completion, it would look as if new cabinets were installed. We received a quote from Cabinet Restoration Co. and another local larger company. Cabinet Restoration’s quote came in at just under $8000 while the other company’s was twice as much for the exact same product and process. Of note Cabinet Restoration, also offered many color options and features for us to consider. After reviewing all our options and checking references, we proceeded. My wife and I are completely thrilled with how the finished product looked! We are not easy to please and have been disappointed in the quality of work from other contractors for other projects. The project was completed with extreme attention to details, no quick fix sloppy cover-ups. The newly re-faced cabinets are indistinguishable from totally replaced ones. What impressed us most was the installer’s dedication to quality, punctuality and work ethic. What a breath of fresh air! We had our kitchen cabinets refaced , including 27 new doors and 8 new drawers. Also we had cove molding and crown molding installed above the cabinets. A new wine box was added and new bulkhead paneling added over pantry to match other cabinets.Two pull out shelves and 2 cutlery dividers were added. A counter top leg was also customized .Also new valance installed over sink. This was all done in a Cordovan finish with sable glaze. Cabinet Restoration Co. did an amazing job!! Pete was very professional and very accessible to any questions we had. Our installer, Steve was very detailed in his work and is quite the craftsman. It was a pleasure to work with them. I found this company online, so no one referred me. The company is located within 20 miles of my home, so I decided to give them a call. It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Pete was extremely professional, responsive and prompt. There were no hidden costs; everything was completely transparent. I conveyed what I wanted and that is EXACTLY what was delivered. Pete never attempted to over sell me, to dissuade me, or bamboozle me in any way. He explained all of my options thoroughly. In addition, he offered references so that I could make an informed decision. The results were spectacular. I opted to have my cherry cabinets refinished.
