Hired him to do cabinets for my new house. Started out well, but never finished the job and now has gone AWOL. My bad for paying him before fully inspecting his work.

After receiving 4 quotes, we hired Carl Woods to refinish (lacquer) our existing 1970-era birch cabinet boxes and make new doors/drawers, including all soft-close hardware and some reconfiguration/replacing old doors with deep drawers for pots/pans storage, combining 2 drawers (horizontal side-by-side) into one, and removing the middle wall in our pantry to create one large space filled w/soft-close pull-out shelves. AWESOME!...Carl has been great to work with, coming back more than once to change/improve details that we hadn't thought about initially. He is currently working to complete a short punchlist and keeps in close touch with us on availability, possible schedule changes, etc. He has helped to make this a great experience in spite of the challenges faced when dealing with existing fixtures. He has worked to stay within our budget while still providing the quality we desire. We have recommended him to several others. Extremely satisfied customers!

We loved working with Carl Woods and the quality of his cabinets speak for themselves. He had many design ideas such as a black walnut island top, pantry cabinet, soft closing drawers and glazing. He built our mantel as well. Show him a picture and If it's made of wood, he can do it.

We got no less than 5 estimates for cabinets. Woods Cabinets was by far the most superior and the most economical. In fact, Woods Cabinets was a full ⅓ less the other custom cabinet maker we talked to. We would not hesitate to use Woods Cabinets again and will recommend them to everyone!

In fact, Woods Cabinets was a full ⅓ less the other custom cabinet maker we talked to. Our estimate from Woods Cabinets included soft close doors and drawers, items other companies considered "extras". We would not hesitate to use Woods Cabinets again and will recommend them to everyone!
