“The first thing about ensuring a successful home project outcome is to get a solid recommendation from a satisfied previous client. We did that. Innocently, in fact, as we were invited to a neighbours' home for dinner and were 'wowed' by the kitchen renovation they had undertaken. We have a 30 year old home and it WAS time. We set a budget, had a concept in mind and called two companies for quotes. Monique at Halifax Cabinetry met our budget constraints and got our go ahead. From there, the project was almost effortless. Monique met with us (always as scheduled), embracing our vision and helping choose colours that complimented each choice. She was entirely professional. Installation day came and went, and the transformation was sensational. The invoice came and was exactly as quoted. So I mentioned that the project was almost effortless...almost, because I have YET to decide on a colour of tile for the backsplash. Too many viable options!”

He is well-known throughout the area for his wonderful kitchen designs and builds, and his work is second to none. His shop is located minutes from the shore in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg, and clients are welcome to drop in any time to discuss plans and watch their kitchens take shape in the shop. Charles is open to ideas and works hard to make sure that his clients are satisfied with the result. My kitchen (old and new shots) can be seen here (http://www.charleslantzcabinetry.com/include/showroom/2012/feature_june12.htm) along with over 70 other kitchens he has completed. Ours was a relatively minor job, with no footprint/structural changes, but the results were amazing!”

“We have worked with Tony on a few large-scale projects so far. He is very easy to work with and very accommodating in regards to timing specially when it comes to working around other contractors. He carefully listens to you and what you want in your kitchen. He considers the current layout of the kitchen, the renovation budget, and other limitations and proposes a few options. He then draws a detailed layout of the new kitchen and patiently works back and forth with you to finalize the layout you are happy with. The quality of his job and the material he uses are superb and he is very knowledgeable in his field.”
