Jonathan Kleid listened carefully as we outlined what we knew we needed and made very apt suggestions about possibilities that we had not initially recognized. The elegant, uncluttered designs in both rooms have stood the test of time. In the kitchen and den his choices of internal hardware and fittings for specialized drawers and cabinets have worked smoothly and have operated flawlessly for more than fifteen years. His collaboration with Swift Finishing gave us cabinetry whose paint finishing was perfect and silky smooth to the touch. The workers were there early every day and cleaned up at the end of the day. it took the amount of time they said it would. it was a really easeful renovation, with Betty showing me a countertop and cabinets and I loved it all. “These guys were great!!! They always showed up on time, (except once but they called and told me the exact time they would be there.) Always friendly, and polite, and extremely tidy! “I hired Obie of Butterworth Designs to build two built-in pieces which I designed- a cubby wall unit for our guest room and a corner bench seat with pull out drawers for the master. His estimate was 10% higher than I was budgeting for, but his level of communication and email response time was awesome and I liked his demeanor and professionalism more than the other builders that I got quotes from- so that sealed the deal. Obie built everything faster than expected with no compromise to quality. Our house was built in 1915 and many of the walls aren't plumb which makes installing builtins a bit tricky. Obie worked tirelessly on the install and came back an additional day to make sure it was done right. I'm so happy with our builtins and the work Butterworth Designs did- will definitely hire Obie again for future projects!”
