“Burgess Hill is a one-man custom cabinet shop that turns out beautiful, high quality work. We are extremely happy with the work done for us and recommend Burgess Hill enthusiastically. We hired Burgess Hill to design, fabricate, and install cabinets for our new home construction. This included extensive kitchen cabinets custom-ft to our appliances, media wall, double bathroom vanity, built-in credenza, and several built-in bookshelves. This represented a mix of paint- and stain-grade cabinets. The owner of Burgess Hill, Dana, personally handles every aspect of the project, from design through fabrication, finish, and installation. Dana is an exacting and meticulous craftsman who takes pride in his work, and it shows in the finished product. Everything he made for us was beautiful, and done right the first time. Although all aspects of his work are of high quality, his finish work is particularly noteworthy. He goes through multiple rounds of painting/staining (he did both for us) and sanding, and generates an exceptional finished surface as a result. He was always on time, even when the construction schedule was demanding, and his pricing on change orders was consistently fair, or more than fair. Above and beyond the high quality of his work, it is the intangibles that really distinguish Dana, and a couple of examples illustrate this point. The focus of our new construction is a large great room that encompasses kitchen, dining room, and living room. These are delineated primarily by a large kitchen island that is really a focal point in the room, and had to be just right as a result. I went to Dana with my own design for this island, but with many important details not worked out. We ultimately spent several hours and multiple CAD drawings refining the design in a very collaborative effort, and were not charged for any of this time. The results are terrific -- exactly what I'd envisioned when I walked in with the design. The island houses a cooktop with downdraft and recirculating unit -- that is, a lot of bulky equipment in that section of the island. I'd written off the idea that any of the space under the cooktop could be used, but Dana created a set of pull-out drawers with cut-outs to accommodate the duct work and wiring under the cooktop. Instead of useless space, that area is now highly functional. We did not request or expect any of this. Dana simply took it on himself to help us get the most out of our cabinetry. For craftsmanship and quality, you will not find a better cabinet maker out there. I highly recommend Dana and Burgess Hill.”

“We hired Brown Felicetta to make custom cabinets for our entire house. This includes our kitchen (includes island plus pantry), 4 bathroom vanities, office library bookshelves, laundry room, mudroom AND an entire wall of closet storage. A project this large is apt to run into issues or delays. Not so with BFD! They finished our cabinets EARLY and installed with precision and perfection. What a great team. They showed up on time, worked professionally with all the other subs working in the house and kept a clean work area. Also, we needed to make several changes to the cabinets after production began due to unforeseen circumstances (ie. sheer wall location, hardfloor scheduling, etc.) and Vince took it all in stride and made the necessary edits to keep the project on schedule. Lastly, we interviewed several custom cabinet makers and BFD is by far the best option out there. You will get exceptional value for your money. The quality of their cabinets are evident and the hardware they use for drawers and hinges are high-end. They don't nickel and dime you. I can't recommend them enough. My husband and I are extremely happy with BFD and our new cabinetry. I still can't quite believe this is our house, it looks so good!”
