“The purpose of our home remodel was to enlarge the kitchen and make the entire house flow and function well. After reviewing several potential ideas, we went outside of the box and actually moved the kitchen to another place within the house. We now have a fairly open concept (as open as you can get for an 111 year old home) where our family of five can live together. This did increase the cost of the project because it meant redoing several additional rooms. We ended up with a new kitchen, bathroom, pantry, dining room, and mudroom. The game-changer was Hanna's 'out of the box' concept to move the kitchen. Once the decision was made, the new layout of the house made perfect sense for what we were trying to accomplish. The great part about working with Hanna (Eden and Gray) was the collaboration. We really worked well together. She listened, would take my ideas and make them better and would tell me when I had an awful idea as well (in her own charming way). Hanna had the difficult task of modernizing a 111 year old house, yet keeping to the style and beauty of the existing interior. The designs were great, her style and color choice was great and she communicated well throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Hanna and most likely will when we take on our next home project.”
