“I had the good fortune of finding Marianne when we were planning a new bedroom and bathroom (converting existing unfinished space in our garage). Marianne is a phenomenal interior designer....but she is so much more! She provides architectural guidance, and she fully understands (and helped me learn) the relationship between form and function. Marianne's keen eye for detail and unique design ideas are beyond compare. She worked closely with me to understand my vision and preferences; but she also offered her guidance in multiple situations, which in the end, saved me from making some significant (and potentially costly) design mistakes. In addition, Marianne has relationships with multiple tradesmen who provide exceptional work (which removes the worry of finding qualified and competent tradesmen). The statement on her website, "The Eye of a Designer, the Soul of an Artist" could not be more accurate. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Marianne....SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! We ended up with a beautiful bedroom and bathroom, and she also helped me with additional design decisions throughout the house.”

“Tim and Nancy are truly amazing to work with. After, the first conversation with Tim, I knew he would be easy to work with. We had our first conference call with Tim and Nancy on a Sunday afternoon. (conference call because we live about 1000 miles from the home we remodeled) we knew we should meet and ultimately we hired them. We did a total remodel of a home that was built in 1992 and the project went extremely smoothly. (in addition to the updating, we added a bathroom, a second laundry room, and a second kitchen) Both Tim and Nancy, kept us up to date on progress, via a weekly email with work scheduled and text messages, phone calls. Photos, were sent frequently. All of the subs hired were extremely polite and respectful of the property. The neighbors, said that we had someone working every day at the house. Surprise, visits by our family, were never a surprise for Tim and Nancy, they showed them around and explained what was going on. The project was about a 2 year project, as we did several different phases, and each phase is absolutely beautiful. The only issue is they are 1000 miles away and our TX home needs a refresh, and would truly love for them to come to TX to do the work. I would use them again for any project small or large.”

“We had serious water damage to our master bathroom and decided at that point to just do a full remodel because we had planned to eventually remodel anyways, knowing that we had original 1960s galvanized pipes and a tiny footprint. We got several bids and ultimately went with North Shore Kitchen & Bath because (1) their bid was competitive with everyone else who bid, (2) we had them recommended by neighbors, (3) we loved the convenience of the turn-key (start-to-finish) service with a full showroom and (4) the fact that we picked all materials out before signing a full contract meant we were able to have a much more accurate idea of the actual final cost going into the remodel. They met with us several times and we fine-tuned the contract and our product choices so that all our questions and decisions were down in writing. They began the work on the day specified and we were given a 6-8 week timeline; the job was finished in 6 weeks, 3 days. We had a few change orders along the way due to some unexpected structural issues and some minor additions we made along the way but the change order costs were all signed off on by us before the work and all reasonable give the additional scope of work. Throughout the entire process, Rick, Tom and the whole team were honest and transparent. Not only was their work impeccable, but they addressed all my concerns as they cropped up and they kept the rest of my house as clean as possible (which was impressive considering they were renovating and repairing water damage on all three levels of our home). The whole team was also extremely friendly, and were very gracious to my two kids who asked them a million questions about the process and also gave attention to my people-loving dog. I also want to give a special shout-out to our designer, Beth. She was very good at understanding what we were going for in our design, was able to merge my husband's and my differing viewpoints on items and also helped steer us towards options that we didn't consider in the beginning, but were of course, ultimately the correct choice. We would recommend Rick, Tom and the whole North Shore Kitchen & Bath team in a heartbeat. We have another 1960s original bathroom to redo in the future and as soon as we have the funds saved up, we know who to call!”
