“Shelley did such an amazing job on our bathroom renos a few years ago that we sought her out once again when we moved house. She does not disappoint- I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is prompt and reliable. She works closely with her reno crew, and makes sure the work is progressing by checking in with them daily until the job is completed. She notices everything, pays attention to the finer details (eg the shade/colour of tile grout) and has an excellent eye for style and colour. She is also very creative and has excellent troubleshooting abilities: she can come up with a solution for just about any challenge that may arise during a renovation. She came up with innovative ways to increase storage space, and did a beautiful job on the bathrooms, laundry room, entrances and home office of our house. She was also able to help fix a botched paint/drywall job in my daughter’s bedroom to make it look like new. I would definitely recommend her, she does excellent work.”

“I renewed my kitchen in the fall 2012, which included major repair work and new kitchen cabinets from Laurysen. Cabinets are in mahogany wood and include various customized items to fit my relatively small kitchen. I worked with Wael Bakr for the design and pricing. Wael Bakr Wael suggested a great initial design. He was extremely open to include and modify the plan based on my specific needs that got clearer on the way or from ideas from other design submissions. He thinks “out of the box”, is extremely knowledgeable of the technical aspects, and open to discussion and changes. His advice significantly increased the look and the functionality of the kitchen. The final design was excellent: I’ve been living in the installed kitchen for few months already and I wouldn’t change anything. In addition, Wael is very friendly and available. He definitely goes above and beyond the sales representative role. On various occasions, Wael came to the house on weekends or evenings to double check details, bring samples, or meet with other contractors (e.g. during plumbing, flooring) to insure things would be “cabinet ready”. Wael’s involvement was at every step of the project, and felt more like a friend looking after my interest than a sales representative. Laurysen My favorite door shape and the type of wood were not initially available at Laurysen. Regardless, Laurysen made a special order to provide what I wanted. They are very flexible for customization of any type – color, material, extra door, and size and shape of cabinets. Nevertheless, Laurysen’s price was very competitive compared to 3 other submissions I had requested from different kitchen companies. Delivery and installation was planned very close to the Holidays period. Laurysen took all necessary steps to deal with unexpected issues and made sure to have all work completed on time. Installation was done with much attention to details. The finish is of very high quality. I am giving a 5 star rating to Wael and to Laurysen in terms of: design (look and functionality), attention to details, availability, flexibility, customization, quality of material, quality of installation, meeting deadlines, pricing, and after sale service.”
