“We met Amir Roth, owner of Custom Edge at a home show. We were in the process of a complete home renovation of a 1973 house and had not decided what to do with the kitchen. We liked the layout of our kitchen but everything was in pretty bad shape. We made an appointment with Amir, who promptly came out, on time, and discussed our options with us. He immediately got our style and what we wanted to achieve. We decided to keep the cabinet boxes, painting them inside and out, and have Amir replace the doors, drawer boxes, hardware and shelves. He made really helpful recommendations, like increasing the door size to create an uncluttered European look. He also replaced all of the scalloped or decorative trim with straight boards and trim. We scheduled the job over Christmas. It was delayed because I had selected a difficult paint to mix. Amir worked hard to identify a source for the paint I had picked out. He spent a lot of time on it. We started a bit late, but once started, the project was done on time and with much less mess and disruption than I had anticipated. We were able to use at least parts the kitchen through the whole process. It was quick. We had a few minor punch list items that Amir quickly took care of. Amir struck us as a craftsman, a real professional. He took the time to hang the doors correctly and get things lined up with our crooked and settled cabinets. The only thing I could complain about were some painted edges that were not perfectly straight (and which Amir said he would fix – but I told him not to worry, as I would do it). We are very happen with the way our kitchen turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Custom Edge.”
