“Basement Reno..... Ed was exceptional and easy to talk to and communicate with. He did drawings for the project and we were able to customize it to suit our family. The companies that were hired by Ed were both great and somewhat disappointing. The flooring guys were amazing and by far were the best. The framing guys were really good at framing (even framed in my cabinets to be counter sinked into the wall so they didnt stick out alot. I was installing my cabinets myself and they made it very easy for me as they did an amazing job framing it for me.). But they also did the taping and mudding and this was poor quality. I had them come back a few times and it still looked very rough and messy. I ended up patching/mudding all the areas in question myself. The electricians did a great job and also installed other lighting that I was going to do on my own. Plumbing was only rough ins as I was installing the bathroom and wet bar on my own but it was very easy for me to work with. I also installed the cabinets, fireplace, shiplap wall, trim, painted and installed the pot lights (they were wired but had to cut the drywall and fit them in). I am really happy with the overall project. Ed was there from start to finish and was extremely helpful, available, honest and reliable. I will hire Ed again for future projects.”
