He walks you through options and ideas, maps out the step by step process to ensure the "impact" to the rest of the home is as minimal as possible, he is 100% professional and his work is impeccable. The ideas we had when starting the project were good - but Ken put incredible detail into his work that made the rooms amazing. He is worth every penny!! “I posted a description on Houzz earlier : See "New foundation for a cottage in Vermont" in the Before and After forum. Ferron is such a pleasure to work with. He worked hard on this project from the estimate all the way through. The project is not yet totally done yet but it's almost there. He and Ryder Lary, along with Kenny Beattie of Beattie Earthworks lifted my house and put in a foundation. Along the way, there were many challenges--springs running under the house, rotted floor joists, a chimney built on to a slab posing some dangerous excavating moments, not to mention the inherent challenge of installing a basement under an existing house. Through it all they worked with patience and good humor. Quality work which will make my house safe, sturdy and warm for years to come. I highly recommend Griffin Builders.”

The project became greater than expected when the porch footings on the original porch were not to code and the foundational frame was rotted. Neither of these conditions could have been anticipated before demolition, but Greg completed the work efficiently, communicating the added expense along the way, and minimizing the inconvenience of having our primary entrance out of service.
