Local Carpenters Near Cross Plains

“Cory and his crew built our lake home 20 years ago and added an attached garage several years after the home was built. We chose a log home (conventional construction, 1/2 log on the exterior and 1/2 log on the interior), the craftsmanship, fit, and finish are fantastic. We were unfamiliar with the area and the local contractors prior to construction, Northern Exports was recommended to us and we were pleased with the working relationship. Cory/Northern Exports is easy to work with, creative, and they stand behind their work. For 20 years we have used Northern Exports to maintain our home and we plan to continue to utilize Northern Exports for maintenance requirements in the future, i.e. staining, sealing, etc. For general construction and log homes I recommend Cory and the staff of Northern Exports.”

“I've worked with Philip on several projects, the biggest being a walnut platform bed frame that's scribed into big rocks. I am so impressed by Philip's creativity and craftsmanship. There is no idea too far-fetched; he is extremely capable of translating an artistic idea into something functional and beautiful -- truly an artist's eye with the skill of a woodworker and the pragmatism of a carpenter. His work is thorough and detail-oriented, and he is professional and communicative.”

“We've enjoyed Tim's work since about 2010 when we had custom solid wood book shelves build for our home in Madison, WI that were cut to match the fireplace mantle. He did a wonderful job and we asked him to build a toy chest in the style of our favorite table as he also makes beautiful, precise furniture. We loved the result and so had him build two more, one for each kid. In the review, I've noted the most recent toy box. I am grateful to have had the chance to know Tim.”
