Local Carpenters Near Dodgeville

“Cory and his crew built our lake home 20 years ago and added an attached garage several years after the home was built. We chose a log home (conventional construction, 1/2 log on the exterior and 1/2 log on the interior), the craftsmanship, fit, and finish are fantastic. We were unfamiliar with the area and the local contractors prior to construction, Northern Exports was recommended to us and we were pleased with the working relationship. Cory/Northern Exports is easy to work with, creative, and they stand behind their work. For 20 years we have used Northern Exports to maintain our home and we plan to continue to utilize Northern Exports for maintenance requirements in the future, i.e. staining, sealing, etc. For general construction and log homes I recommend Cory and the staff of Northern Exports.”

“Built our house with care and full dedication. Reserve a year ahead of time to get a position on his schedule. Meticulous and extremely careful capable of all phases including finish capentry, wood flooring, and bathroom tiles. Not one blemish in a large house on a beautiful country farm. Finished on time for Thanksgiving dinner after starting May 2. We could not be happier.”

“I've worked with Philip on several projects, the biggest being a walnut platform bed frame that's scribed into big rocks. I am so impressed by Philip's creativity and craftsmanship. There is no idea too far-fetched; he is extremely capable of translating an artistic idea into something functional and beautiful -- truly an artist's eye with the skill of a woodworker and the pragmatism of a carpenter. His work is thorough and detail-oriented, and he is professional and communicative.”
