Precise Woodworks more than succeeded in designing and building a wonderful shed for our pool equipment! Referred to as The Folly, its appearance was essential because of its prominent location. Mr. Switkes' design paid a great attention to detail, and blended perfectly with our home. Once the contract was signed, Mr. Switkes and his employees worked diligently and cheerfully to complete the project. They handled all design, permitting and tree removal, and the materials and construction techniques were excellent.

Tina and Steve made our dream entertainment room a reality. They sat down with us and patiently worked out the details of creating a sound insulated space in our unfinished basement, getting us in contact with an excellent audio/video contractor, as well as great kitchen, flooring and lighting specialists. We were really picky and that was no problem for them. The room turned out better than any space in our house.

We hired Karp Remodeling to install new kitchen cabinets, appliances, countertops, backsplash and bathroom vanity. With all the different contractors we've dealt with, Stephen Karp was consistently the most reliable, responsive, honest and communicative. The work that he and his team completed looks great. The photos don't do justice but he pays attention to detail, has great interpersonal skills for talking to our HOA and condo management. Throughout the project, he was on time and cleaned up afterwards everyday. We can't recommend him highly enough. His prices were also extremely fair. Thanks again to Stephen Karp for our new kitchen and bathroom vanity. We will definitely look to hire him again for future projects.

Excellent work. I had change my built in tv wall cabinet to fit my 60" TV. You would never know that it used to only fit a deep 42". They also did a full library/desk in my office and everyone who visits remarks on how beautiful it is. Great work.

We were very pleased with the quality of the windows and installation. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked neatly and diligently to complete the installation of 36 windows plus a sliding door all in one day. The crew worked very efficiently and the quality and cleanliness of the installation was impressive. The team prepared each area before installation and cleaned up exceptionally afterward. All the old windows were removed and hauled away with all the junk, leaving minimal clean up inside for us. Highly recommend.

Dana is a master carpenter whom we have hired several times for jobs in our home. He has built lattice surrounds for our deck, built-ins in our master BR and living room and, most recently, served as the general contractor for a master bathroom gut and redo. Dana is a perfectionist so you know you will be getting the best work he can provide. He has many contacts from being in this business for a long time. He is a genuinely nice guy, honest and straight forward. His carpentry work is amazing and he is always in pursuit of a way to be environmentally conservative and historically accurate. KCC custom fabricated my entire downstairs bar/pool/entertainment room all from raw goods. Their abilities to understand my thoughts (without a solid blueprint design) and their past experience/abilities made everything very easy for me. They custom matched already in place wood work and created essentially a seamless design installation, as if the entire area had been built out at one time. This abilities of this company are incredible.

Roger is a true craftsman and we're very happy we decided to work with him on an office built-in desk and shelf. His CAD drawing was spot on after sharing a few pictures and explaining what we were looking for so the scoping process was very straightforward. The fit and finish are incredible and this level of experience and quality is not common based on the research I did on finish carpenters in the area. Smitty is fantastic to work with. His attention to detail is incredible and just what you need in someone completing the finishing touches on your home. His eye for detail and experience in what works best when adding the beautiful bones to your home is essential in a finish carpenter. He has added crown molding and picture rail to our home and is currently adding board and batten wainscoting and reframing our windows in our master bathroom as part of a remodel updating our master bath. I am happy to write this letter in recommendation of Andrew, owner of Hammer Crafted, LLC. I have had the pleasure of working with Andrew on 3 projects: the renovation of our guest bathroom in the fall of 2009, our master bath in the fall of 2013 and the largest project of all, our kitchen this year, the fall of 2019. I recommend him highly and without reservation. Throughout the course of the renovations, Andrew was a professional. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. He chose and managed the sub-contractors well. His opinions were sought and counted upon. Our jobs were done with care and precision. He is a gifted woodworker! In addition, he is extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. He and his assistants never left the worksite in disarray. They draped furniture, blocked hallways and vacuumed all drywall dust daily. Andrew takes special care to prevent any of the job dust from trailing throughout the house. The only complexity in working with a real craftsman is that, as he himself will tell you, good work takes time to complete. Andrew is a perfectionist. Kelvin Brown, owner of Integrity Trimworks, LLC. built our kitchen cabinets for our whole house remodel. He did an exceptional job going above and beyond the call of duty.
