“WFBD sanded and totally refinished over 1600 sq. ft. of wood floors in our home, including closet areas and wooden floor heating registers. They also fixed one board that had a slight warp and filled numerous knot holes in the floor boards that the initial floor finisher had not done correctly. They applied one sealer coat and two finish coats to the floors. Dust containment and base molding removal was included. The entire process took 5 days of work. WFBD staff showed up promptly and went right to work. They were efficient, diligent, professional, and easy to work with. Communications regarding the process, work timing, finish drying times, etc. were very good. As the work proceeded, we decided to not replace much of the original base molding and promptly received full credit for that. There were a few very small areas where sawdust had been trapped in the final coat or that had not been coated. WFBD sent out a excellent repairman to correct these problems. Make no mistake, floor refinishing is a dusty, smelly job, particularly with over 1600 sq. ft. of wood floors. We were prepared for that, but some folks may not realize what’s involved. WFBD minimizes this as much as possible, but it is inevitable that you will experience these things as part of your job. We were lucky that we’d not yet moved into the home, so the job was easier. WFBD’s prices might not be the lowest, but their quality and commitment show. The result was very good looking refinished wood floors with a much more durable finish.”
