San diego carpet repair and carpet dying

We had a very bad experience with San Diego Carpet Repair and with Leslie. We wanted him to put our 2 yr old carpet back in place after we had removed part of it for some subfloor repair work. He came out and finished in 20 minutes, left a HUGE mess of un-vacummed fibers, many lumps in the carpet and badly repaired door seam. He said it was because it wasn't rolled correctly and the seam wasn't properly cut in the first place. There were many reasons given about how it was removed incorrectly but nothing offered to repair those incorrections the right way in the first place. There were large, floating bubbles in the carpet and it was obvious it needed to be stretched further. So we called to have it repaired again, the person answering said they wanted us to be 'happy' and sent Leslie back out even though we asked for someone better. He spent another 25 minutes and at a first glance when he left (and we gave him more money just to be nice), it looked ok. But, when we came to put the furniture back, we noticed that the carpet was cut too short on one side of the wall with visible subfloor, carpet padding staples used on the outside of our carpet all around (which should NEVER be used), unstretched areas with bubbles still apparent and no offer to redo the badly repaired door seam. More excuses were given when we called, like saying the tack strips were old which is why they STAPLED our new carpet and mentioned again that it wasn't cut well at the seam. What they didn't do was tell us what needed to be done to fully correct these issues in the first place and how much more, if anything, it would cost to do it right in the first place. They stopped responding to any calls after that and didn't give us any money back. We had to call another EXPERIENCED person to come out to fix all the issues and ended up paying more than double for a job that should have been done correctly in the first place. Needless to say, we are very disappointed and very unhappy.
