Be aware of an issue I now have on my plush carpeting - This could happen to anyone, but they say it's less than 1% chance. I purchased Shaw carpeting from Carpet One and flooring August 2023 (whole house). In summer of 2024 I started noticing spots that looked dirty. I called Carpet one and got a referral to a carpet cleaning company and had it cleaned in Oct 2024. The carpet cleaning person told me he could not get the spots clean and that there were several issues with the carpeting, including installation (carpet pulling out of tack strips, five seams in a small hallway). I called Carpet One who told me that the carpet cleaners are not qualified to determine issues with carpeting and that he would send out his own person. His own person was hardly in the front door when he said "I see exactly what you are talking about". He agreed there were issues with the carpet spots, and also issues with the installation (carpet pulling out of tack strips in several areas, five seams in a small hallway). We called Carpet One again to see how to resolve the issues. He told us his man retired and that it was called "pooling" and is NORMAL and would not affect the carpet life or wear. He sent the carpet installer back and they fixed the tack strips but not the five seams in a small hallway Now the carpet is pulling out of the tack strips again. No response as of yet on that, but I did contact Shaw who had me file a claim. Carpet One claims it is not a manufacturing defect and the issue on "pooling" has been known and reviewed for 25 years with no final result (wish I'd know that before purchasing). So I may be stuck with carpeting that has dirty looking spots, but it is normal!! I hope to get this resolved thru Shaw, or a carpet inspector if needed. Just be aware that if you buy plush carpeting, this can happen in some cases and you may have to live with it forever. Get a written warranty on "pooling" to protect yourself. I hope to get this resolved as they seem reputable and Shaw is a great company. Just be aware.

We were very pleased with our dealings with Empire Carpet and Blinds in Charlotte. The variety of samples brought to our home let us decide what carpet we wanted. The crew who came out to install the carpet were great! They stripped out the old carpet in two rooms and put down the new quickly and efficiently and completely cleaned up after themselves. We'd certainly call on them again when we have a new project.

We have purchased carpet/flooring with Carpet One over the years & have always been satisfied. Lee truly cares about his customer & goes the extra mile - treats you like family. Our salesman, Andy, was very helpful when we were choosing area carpets for our new home. When the installer could not come due to a bad back, they both came & laid the area rugs for us. We were impressed with the eye for detail every step of the way! It is the only carpet store we would ever use!

I purchased flooring from Your Floors, Fredericksburg, VA for my second time within the past 2 1/2 years. I have to say the first time they did a great job. And actually this second time around they exceeded my expectations. I can say this is a great company to work with if you are in the market for new flooring. The first time I purchased luxury vinyl plank, the second time I purchased engineered hardwood. I will be making another purchase for carpeting for our living room from them soon. I would like to thank Scott Busby the Sales Technician for his expertise and making it easy to work with on my decision. Also, the installation technicians Hector and AC, these guys are masters at their craft I'm amazed at the work they did and these guys are very professional too. I couldn’t be happier. Everyone was so polite and helpful. The kitchen floor came out beautiful and the tile backsplash is perfect. The installers were also very respectful and did a great job.

Recently (Dec 2022), I did business with Carpet One, US 1 South in St Augustine. I was extremely pleased with the curtesy, efficiency and timeliness of the service of both Chris and Rodney. They really went the extra mile for a confused 80 year old women. Thanks a million.

O'Briens Carpet installed the carpet at our rental in August 2022. This is the third time we have used them for our properties and we are really pleased with their selection, salesman Craig, and the scheduling & installation teams. Once the carpet is selected, the rest is easy as it is up to them and they do a very professional job!
