Our kitchen tile installation had several problems. During installation, the installers moved the refrigerator on our vinyl flooring and scratched it. Also, they could not match the color of our vinyl floor with the transition strip. I found a match at Home Depot. A little over a year later the grout began to crack and a tile cracked where the grout cracking was the worst. John Henson, the owner said he would come out and look at it, but never came until I sent him a certified letter. He then blamed the problem on everything from the house swaying in the wind to someone dropping something on the floor. Tile floor grout in five other rooms had no cracks after 13 years of use, but FCI’s installation was failing. He finally agreed to have his head installer come look at it and replace the cracked tile. For months no one contacted me or returned my calls. I finally (6 months after first contacting them) visited the store and talked to John. I told him again I would not be able to write a good review if he did not follow through. He accused me of threatening him and said he would have nothing to do with me anymore – effectively removing his offer to partially fix the problem. This is a franchise, not an individual local store, which may partially explain the poor installation and customer service

I was thrilled with my final selection with much help from John. I had been looking for more than a month to find the right type, color, and warranty on new flooring for my whole home. I ha already decided on LVP, as I had had engineered hardwood that did not wear well with dogs and NC weather. It was all about the color #1, then price then warranty. I walked in and John pointed me to "the" one..he liked..it coordinated well with cabinets, Boom signed sealed and delivered. Easy Peasey. Thrilled to work with IFC and would highly recommend. The instllers were awesome and moved furniture out of the way, then back again...Cleaned up and completed job within a week...that was the WHOLE house. Love it

It was a wonderful experience. John and his team guided us through the various carpet replacement options. John was able to match the color of the existing hardwood in the other rooms PERFECTLY. The installation team was friendly and professional. I think that they did a better job than the original house contractor.

I contacted several carpet companies to get pricing on a large project of our bedroom, stair going upstairs, hallway and two bedrooms upstairs. Kim at Floor Coverings International was very helpful and the men that layed the carpeting were excellent and did a great job. They were competitive and did exactly what and when they said they would. We have found our flooring store to not only use again but to recommend to our friends.

Working with Kim was a wonderful experience. The design for the backsplash around our cabinets is superb. We came in with questions and, of course, no idea of what we needed. Kim was easy to work with, informed on materials, provided options, and worked with us to select the materials and colors. Kim's design behind the stove using accenting material has been the highlight of our experience.

Kimberly and Floor Coverings International were very professional, and also friendly, and easy to work with. Kimberly spent a good deal of time helping me to pick just the right tile backsplash for our kitchen. It was installed shortly after we placed our order, and it looks beautiful. I get compliments on it from everyone who walks into my home. I would highly recommend them and will use them for future jobs.

Price ended up being very competitive for quality carpet. The staff was very nice to work with. The installation crew did a very nice job. Len S.

We had our bedroom carpet replaced with a laminate flooring. The quality and color of the floor is excellent. The installers where wonderful also. They were very respectful, friendly, and worked in a timely matter and as clean as possible. The staff at the office was great also. Very professional.
