Rugs Direct

My ordeal with Rugs Direct has been nothing short of a nightmare. Waiting for months for a refund, I felt like I was chasing a ghost. And when the elusive refund finally arrived, it was shockingly less than what was rightfully owed. Rugs Direct utter lack of customer consideration has left me deeply dissatisfied and cautioning others to steer clear of this unscrupulous company.

we purchased a small rug that was described as grey with black, the photo on the site seemed to match that description. When it arrived the color was way off, more yellow than grey. I contacted them for and RMA which was confusing and convoluted but I stuck with it and sent it back at my expense which way about 33% of the purchase price. 6 weeks after they recieved the rug I still hadn't gotten a refund. I contacted them via chat on their site and was cut off twice with not response more than let us look into it. It now appears that the issued a refund but it hasn't posted to my credit card yet. Way more troulble than it was worht and it felt like an internet transaction from 1990. don't wast your time and money buy somewhere else.

The most discombobulated company ever. Horrible. Do not buy anything. A total time waster. Shipped the wrong rug, made it next to impssible to return it,

Purchased a vinyl floor cloth from RUGS DIRECT.. Described as black. I felt confident ordering since I already had a black vinyl floor cloth from the same vendor. It is black and perfect. The picture on website is black, and described as black. This one arrived dark Grey with a green tint. Looks nothing like the picture or description. Spoke to customer service, they just blew me off, said I had to pay to return it. The cost to return? $156.00! I live an hour away from the warehouse I need to ship to, they told me No, you cannot take to warehouse! It must be shipped. This is terrible way to do business, and I will never purchase from them. I will certainly discourage anyone from dealing with them

NEVER order from this company! $202 to return a product that we don't want! I purchased a large rug from Rugs Direct and was not satisfied with the way the product worked in our home. Upon working through the return process, I learned that it was going to cost me $202 to return the rug. I contact customer support via the Chat and was told that the supervisor would look into this situation. When Annette and I spoke, she said there was nothing they could do as the business would lose money if they assisted customers with return shipping, and she already did everything she could by offering their rate for shipping. Therefore, she recommended I sell this rug online if I was not willing to pay the return shipping costs! Instead of offering an in store credit or offering to pay for half of the shipping costs which would still cost me $100, I'm left with the choice to try to sell the rug myself or be out $202 for no product. I am beyond frustrated with this situation and will never look on this website for another rug. I encourage everyone to search another website and order elsewhere if you find a rug on Rugs Direct that you like! It's not worth the risk!
