Woodard & Greenstein

I have bought two rugs from Woodard and Greenstein. The first was great. The second has been an extremely frustrating experience. When the rug arrived, it looked nothing like the web image, the colors totally altered by the fact that weft is a white cotton. Instead of a rug that I expected to be purple, blue, and green, I received one that is pale tan, mint green and yellow. When I complained, customer service kept repeating that they don't take back rugs that aren't standard sizes, which seems totally beside the point given the much larger issue of the misleading online images. Eventually, they just stopped replying at all, seemingly just trying to wait out the 30 days beyond which they do not accept returns at all. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend making purchases from this company without looking at their products in store. If you live in the New York area, great. If not, caveat emptor.

Kelly has always been helpful with her knowledge of the rug inventory and how certain rugs might look when stitched together. She is always pleasant to work with.

The cotton rugs are very high quality...so much better than your typical cotton rug. I've had these for years...they don't tear, wear or come apart. You can wash the smaller ones....I've done it for years. If you plan on doing that, you might want to order your rug a little bigger. They shrink but very little. Otherwise, the company recommends dry cleaning. Colors are beautiful and the website and catalog are very true examples. I highly recommend these rugs...just gifted one to my son and his wife. They love it.
