Worldwide Wholesale Floor Coverings

I orderd tiles for my 2 bathrooms. They supplied factory rejected tiles. They are not even emrtaining now. The tiles are very uneven. Worldwide Wholesale Floor Coverings doesnt want take any responsibility.

Buyer beware! This store will charge you for measurements. I had found a 12 x 27 remnant at another small carpet store. They came out and measured without charging me or taking a deposit and I was told that it would be a perfect fit. Unfortunately, the remnant was sold before I made my decision so I had to find another store with that carpet since the store no longer carried that brand. I found the carpet at Worldwide. My husband took measurements but told the sales person that he was not sure of the exact amount of carpet that was needed. We were told that it was no problem because they were going to come and measure anyway. We left an 80% deposit based upon the measurements we provided. Unfortunately, our measurements were not accurate which can be expected since we are not in the carpet business. After Worldwide measured, I received a call from the sales person saying I needed 369 square feet of carpet which is approximately 12 x 31. The cost of my carpet was now $800 more than what was originally quoted. I told the sales person that I did not understand why I needed so much carpet since the room was 12 x 24. I was told that the carpet needed go halfway into the two doors on the side of the room. I told the sales person that this was impossible since there was tile and also the room itself is only 11 feet 8 inches wide. This would have no bearing on the additional length. I suggested that they send another person to measure and confirm since this did not make sense but was not given this as an option. The salesperson spoke with the installer and was told, "sell her what she wants." This implied to me that they would not take responsibility for the amount of carpet and if it was wrong or short I would be blamed. My husband and I decided to cancel the order. I received another call from the sales person who then said that the manager had reviewed the measurements and they could do it for me for $400 less because I did not need all that carpet. At this point, my husband and I lost trust and decided not to purchase from them and cancelled the order. I asked for my deposit to be refunded. Two days later I received my refund minus $50. We were told that there was a charge to measure. We were NEVER told that there was a charge to measure the money I left was a deposit and did not include a charge to measure. It is unbelievable to me that a store this large would do this. If your business is reliant upon accurate measurements it is in your best interest to offer this as a free service. Businesses offer free estimates and quotes all the time but not this one! They are forcing you to pay $50 and then selling you more carpet than you need! In the end, you will not be paying less if you think it is cheaper than a small business. This is a disgrace and they are clearly taking advantage of the customer. There are plenty of small carpet stores that do not do this. Another reason to buy from small businesses.

Several issues including short material. Installation had to be left incomplete until the remaining material arrived. Overall took 2+ months.

My salesman, Aramis Potter, was very professional and helpful. He called several times with updates on the installation dates. The installers were great. They were courteous and did a very good job. Any concerns I had throughout the process were satisfactory resolved.

Unbelievable! Everything went better than perfect. From the sales experience to the completed job. The craftsmen who did the job were true artisans. The store displays were extremely helpful as well as were the sales staff and management. I would never even consider going anywhere else for flooring after this. By the way, we originally had contracted with Empire (as you can see from one of my prior reviews). That did not work out at all. I am so glad we tried Worldwide.

We used them many times and all good experiences. Be sure to ask for Chester Miller sales rep. He was knowledgeable, patient and got us a great deal.

I ordered a tremendous amount of flooring of all types for my house that I did a gut renovation on. Craig was extremely helpful and great about adding to my orders numerous times when materials ran short etc. He had a great deal of patience as ther was a couple of changes along the way and his follow up made the job that much easier.

Mt Potter from the Fairfield NJ store was very helpful in assisting us with our new floor. The process from the purchase to the installation was great with no problems at all. The installers did a fantastic job and we are very pleased!!

3/21/2017 Update: All issues resolved. Darren (VP) went out of his way to help us. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Worst experience of my life. I wish there was a option of negative or zero star here. I was directed to WorldWide Flooring through Costco and a sales rep named Marty came to our house with all the false promises. He told us that Costco's warranty covers everything. After making the purchase, World Wide Flooring sent wood to our home to settle and after a week when installer came, he said the wood is no good. They took it back and send other batch. Same issue. This repeated 3 times and finally they sent wood from another manufacturer "Armstrong" with the promise that this the most strongest wood and best quality. After they install it, within a month some mysterious impressions started showing up on the floor and soon there are 100s of those impressions all over, including under the furniture. When we contacted Marty, he came and saw and couldn't understand the root cause. World Wide sent so called "independent inspector" and he submitted the report to World Wide that those are heel marks. I couldn't understand that as how we can have heel marks under the furniture? After multiple phone calls, World Wide refused to honor the warranty and so did Costco. Costco said that as per the report, it is not manufacturing fault and that sales rep "Marty" lied to us regarding their warranty. Now I am have flooring that is hardly 5 months old with 100s of impression and no where to go. Bottom line, I am never buying anything from World Wide or COSTCO. They are just another multi million dollar scam shop. They always tell you about the warranty and all but never standing behind any of their promises.

Always professional, mindful of budgets and ease of completing projects in a timely fashion. Working with Alex and Cindi of Worldwide has been a pleasure.

Recently bought a new home and was working on updating the Billiard room. I was looking for a rug to go under the new pool table and to match the current blue-gray color of the room as I did not want to have to repaint and already liked the color. They were able to help me quickly find this Karastan rug called Capri-Robin's Egg and I had it in the room within a week.

.This place has the nicest selection of rugs and wood flooring anywhere!!! Their staff is highly professional and the quality of the workmanship is immaculate.
