“I have had this contractor complete 6 projects and have been extremely satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism. This contractor's honesty fares well with me because I like each project done right. He always lets me know what he will be doing each day. I especially like the fact that if he runs into any problems due to previous poor quality workmanship, he will tell me and then correct it. He gives each project the time it needs instead of rushing and cutting corners to meet a deadline. At this point, he is the only contractor I will have at my home.”

“Removal of plaster ceiling that had fallen as well as installation of new sheetrock ceiling with new light fixtures. They were careful to protect existing construction and repaired a part of the ceiling found to be rotten. All was completed in a timely manor.”

“We hired Duinkerken Homes to work on a landscaping & grading project to make the backyard a space we could use. They did the grading, built a retaining wall and stairs from one level to another. Brandon and his team were very professional and hard-workers. They communicated with us throughout the process. They made suggestions that made sense. We are very happy with the final result and can't wait to enjoy what went from a small hill to a large backyard space that we can actually use! They completed the project within the time frame we discussed, which was also important to us.”

“We hired Lost Ridge Construction to perform some rot remediation and replace a storm door and trim on a log cabin. Due to the unknown extent of the repair, we received a reasonable ballpark estimate up front with knowledge of their hourly rate and estimated people required. The work turned out to be quite a bit more extensive once the investigation progressed and more involved due to the location/attachment of a deck at the damaged area. Brandon promptly contacted us as soon as the extra work involved was discovered and we discussed options. In the end, we had some restructuring of the attached deck to permit the repair work, the storm door, some interior work including wood trim, and a small patch of tile done. This work was all done to our satisfaction. Brandon was responsive in addressing a leak in the storm door installation and latching of the interior door which had been re-hung/weatherstripped. Throughout the process we received many updates and photos of the project in progress.”

“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. I whole-heartedly recommend Pavelchak Architecture for your new home.”

“Rogers Development built our 7,000 square foot custom home in 2013. The quality of their work was evident even before we signed the construction contract. They researched and provided a very detailed cost estimate based on our specific selections whereas other contractors we spoke with provided estimates based on their normal allotments. They were extremely helpful throughout both the design and selection process. Their subcontractors were top quality. Either Jimmie or Jeff Rogers (the owners) were on site daily throughout the entire project to check on the progress. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and will utilize them should we build again in the future.”

“Bill took a handwritten "dream" for remodeling and building and did an awesome job. His recommendations for materials and fixtures were great. He even had a custom designed utility table (on rollers, with shelves) built to fit the space, along with other items we wanted. In fact, we got one of the ideas from Houzz! His professional, respectful and easy manner made it a good experience, even with inevitable delays with construction. His communication of progress timeline was frequent, clear and thoroughly understood. Bill is a very honest business person and we would highly recommend using Mountain Craft Builders!”
