My job required more repair work that originally anticipated but Barber Homes replaced all the rotten wood so I will never have to worry about later issues. “They did a tremendous job with the remodeling of our townhouse! Kitchen, living room, dining room and 2 bathrooms! Also opened up an enclosed stairwell and in the kitchen removed a couple of walls to open it up to the living room! Kept me updated on everything as the project progressed and sent pictures! Really liked the personal phone call when a problem was encountered so we could discuss the situation and then determine the best solution! It was really nice to have someone who designed our vision of what we talked about and made it come to life, while I was over 500 miles away! I would highly recommend this contractor for your work, be it remodel or new construction! We are pleased and Thankful for the work that he did for us!”

“Our experience with Jim Walker was "five star". First, he listens really well. Second, he educates his potential client(s) without being pushy. He knows his products - positives and limitations - and describes them without bias. Jim comes across as an advisor, not a high pressure salesperson. He provides a clear plan and estimates of costs. Once we decided to accept his proposal, he personally came on site to measure and then deliver a detailed set of plans. In our case, we were very involved in the design process - which included making some changes to Jim's preliminary drawings. He was fine with that - and liked our input. Delivery went as planned. He came on site several times as the units were being installed, and came back after installation to make adjustments without charge. Jim's services included planning and delivering of all cabinetry for a custom kitchen and for three full baths. From beginning to end, Jim uses a partnering approach - and applies an ethical standard to his work.”

“Don Chapman of Chapman Design developed the design for a screened porch and covered pation addition to our 20 yr old home. The design developed was unique, met our needs, and blended with the style of our home. We selected the construction branch of this group, ICON, to build our addition. Doug Chapman provided project management from start to finish. All contractors were professional, skilled, and easy with which to communicate. Day to day communication from Doug was thorough but not disruptive to our work days. Don continued to provided design input. The project was finished on time and within budget. We love, love, love our screened porch and covered patio. Would highly recommend both Chapman Design and ICON construction.”
