Caryn talked with us in detail about how we wanted to use our basement and then came up with plans that included all of our needs as well as ideas that we hadn't even considered but should have. She was able to design a space that incorporated areas for everyone in our family, including our young son--even a stage that could be pulled apart for use as couches when he becomes a teenager! Because we live in separate states, Caryn was able to do much of the work remotely with minimal visits to our home to take measurements, etc. She had finish samples sent directly to us quickly and walked us through the decision making process. She designed specific requests, such as a fireplace for my husband and a guest room/office area. Caryn paid attention not only to the aesthetics of the job, but also the practicalities, such as outlet placement and HVAC. She also included amenities such as a well-placed dorm fridge which will come in handy when our son is old enough to use the space as a hang-out with friends. All in all, the job was smooth, well-designed and surprisingly painless. Caryn listened to our needs and then exceeded them. We would recommend her without reservation.”

Lauren helped us through our first floor renovation, which involved installing a 22' beam that allowed for three rooms to be combined into a large space to accommodate the kitchen and dining space. With this new space, Lauren was able to create a space for us to have a walk in pantry, a fabulous & functional open kitchen, and a beautiful dining space. We renovated our bathroom as well with Lauren and it is now a fresh space that we love so much. This renovation has completely transformed the way our young family of 6 lives in our house and we could not be more delighted with the outcome!
