When issues popped up totally unrelated to his work, Anthony worked with our previous contractors to identify the issue, come up with a solution, and got them to pay 100% of the cost. “Allan did an amazing job with our kitchen remodeling, which included demolition, addition of a large room, changing roof lines and some major internal changes in other areas. He would personally be on the job 6 days a week, and this entire effort (from demolition to a shell being ready) was completed in less than 10 weeks. In the meantime, he had built a temporary kitchen in our basement, and sealed off the area to prevent dust pollution. Cannot recommend Allan highly enough -- his costs were very reasonable (I shopped around), his workmanship is excellent, his team is very professional, highly ethical (no hidden charges or surprises) -- I've recommended Allan to many friends, and would not hesitate to hire him again.”

“I have dealt with many contractors over the past few years and I have been extremely disappointed - they either didn't show up/were 2 hours late, were completely unprofessional (cursing in front of me) or they never finished the work the were paid to do. Leary, I decided to give them a call. I was very impressed by Steve's professional manner over the phone. He worked with my busy schedule and met me on a Sunday to look at the work I wanted to do and give me a quote. Steve's quote was right in line with the other 2 quotes I received, so the only thing I had to work with was the recommendation from my friend. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt that I needed to do this because I was so impressed with FGC! Firstly, they showed up on time (that's a huge bonus point right there), they finished the job in the time frame given and the best part is my absolutely stunning kitchen (just in time for Christmas). I honestly didn't think it would ever come out as good as it did (I am extremely picky, so my husband says). This is a father and sons business and Mike Hazley Sr. believes keeping customers happy, even after they have completed the job, sets them apart from other contractors. He is right about that. They constructed a new addition for us that is handicap accessible (new sitting room, bathroom, dressing room and closet) and it is beautiful. They went the extra mile with so many things, like reinforced beams, extra insulation, etc. When we had a problem with the new toilet about 6 months after the renovation was completed, Mike's crew was here to solve the problem, which was a manufacturer's flaw. His workers were careful about heeling in bushes and other plants that I wanted to preserve which they had to dig up to pour a new foundation for the addition. They replanted them once construction was done and everything lived and is thriving. I could go on and on. My best recommendation is the number of times I have recommended Hazley Builders to friends, relatives and acquaintances.”
