Chimney Pro Cleaners

This was not a good experience. Allow me to share. 1. Originally scheduled a couple of weeks ago to arrive between 11-2. I had a meeting scheduled at 2:00 p.m. (work from home) so could not have them work after that time. Received a call at around 1:30 p.m. telling us that they cannot arrive until after 3:00 p.m. I understood, so rescheduled for a later date for a time between 2-5. We kept our calendars clear for that time. Received a call at 12:30 saying they would arrive in 30 minutes. My wife had a call scheduled for 1:00. Let them come anyway. 2. When they arrived, they parked in front of the garage where we could not possibly exit. There was plenty of room in the driveway away from the garage which every other contractor/service figures out that's the place to park. Not these guys. 3. When bringing the equipment in through the garage, they banged into my car. All I got was "whoops". Granted the path was fairly narrow. 4. They were not prepared with shoe coverings. I had to ask that they wear these, so they returned to their truck to get the coverings. 5. While retrieving the foot coverings, they left the door open with the equipment in the door frame. The weather is in the 50's and raining and I could not shut the door. 6. Attempted to charge me a higher price than quoted. When I objected, the lead person asked me why I was so pissy. Yes, he said pissy. 7. Try to persuade me that I got scammed by another service who claimed to be them. I pointed out that they were the ones who showed up, so how could I have possibly scheduled someone else. Suggested that I called other services and got the cheaper rate from them. So, they state that I called other services with lower rates, then called another number and scheduled them at the higher rate? 8. They would only take a check. Would not take any other form of payment. Not credit cards, not venmo. Apparently, their billing software would not accept it(?!) 9. The work took maybe 5 minutes. I've had my chimney cleaned before, it took longer. I have doubts on whether much was done. One or two of these issues, I could overlook. But these guys were consistently inconsiderate and unprofessional. I cannot in good conscience give these guys anything but the worse review. Finding quality service is difficult. I recommend that you try elsewhere.

Extremely knowledgeable friendly and Affordable! We bought gas logs from them that our chimney cleaned and they replaced our leaking rain pan. Everything was done to our complete satisfaction We will definitely recommend them to all our friends and family and we are plan on using them for any project in the future!

The technician, Reuben, was very professional, quick and competent. He did arrive later than the scheduled time, maybe almost 2 hours later, but I was expecting it to take him a couple of hours and it only took maybe 30 minutes at the most, so I think the total time out of my schedule was worth it. I had gotten over zealous in cleaning and vacuumed out the sand and vermiculite used to improve the performance of gas fireplaces. He replaced these substances, rearranged the fake logs for maximum efficiency and sealed around the gas pipe feed to the logs for increased safety. I had not read the instructions to keep dogs and children out of the work area, and my dog walked around in the carbon black and made a mess even though Reuben had put down a drop cloth. I then made a bigger mess by insisting on cleaning up in an ineffective manner. Reuben was patient and kind about this and cleaned up the mess with me helping some in the end. He is a very clean person. I know he did a good job, so I will not have to have this done in many many years, but this is the sort of company, and technician I would very much love to hire in the future.

I heard about this company from a fellow real estate agent who had been impressed w/ them. My clients had already called and paid another fireplace company and were not getting good results. Boy was I happy that I was referred to Chimney Pro Cleaners and forwarded this company to my clients! I looked sooo good when my clients called Chimney Pro Cleaners and Reuven. The original company they called said the repair was impossible, my clients needed a new fireplace because the parts were so old they couldn't get them; Reuven came out the next day and fixed their problem in 10 minutes! They were able to sell their home without paying an arm and a leg for repairs and we all have a new fireplace company for life. Thank you Chimney Pro!
