“After looking around online for a new wood burning stove we went to the Black Swan store/showroom in New Milford, CT. Best decision we could have made. Their selection is huge, the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful (and not pushy at all). I was most worried about the installation since our old stove was really old, but they came and inspected the flue beforehand to check we'd ordered the right one for our home. Because of the set up in our house the cost was several hundred dollars cheaper than they had originally quoted, so add honesty to the reasons why I give them 5 stars. The installation was quick (about an hour) and their guys were completely professional. They cleaned up after themselves and took extra time to explain how to break in the stove (very important) and how to use it efficiently. We had the stove inspected by the town (an absolute must-do for home insurance purposes) and it passed without a problem. Our wood burning stove not only looks great, but it easily heats the house and we've noticed a big difference in the amount of oil we are using. From beginning to end it was a great experience and I can't recommend Black Swan highly enough. Nick C”

“After several cold winters, my husband and I became interested in purchasing a wood stove to heat the basement of our home. Unfortunately, neither of us had every owned or operated a wood stove. Throughout the entire process, the staff at Fire Glow were extremely professional, knowledgable, and courteous! They addressed every question that we had, made recommendations on the wood stove that would be perfect for our household, and provided everything that we would need for obtaining permits. Neither my husband or I felt any pressure to buy and were greatly impressed by the amount of information that our sales associate gave us. Given our positive experience, we went ahead and purchased a Quadra Fire 4300 wood stove. Fire Glow kept in contact each step of the process and were willing to work the scheduling around our basement renovation. Our installer did a wonderful job- the installation was impeccable! He walked us through stove operation, chimney maintenance, and was kind enough to answer our remaining questions/concerns. Bottom line- from beginning to end, Fire Glow went above and beyond our expectations! We are very grateful for the positive experience that we had and will gladly remain loyal customers.”

“I stopped by Nordic Stove & Fireplace Center this past weekend. Scott (the co-owner) was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. We realized early in the conversation that I live outside an area he can service, however, that didn’t stop him from offering his professional insights and still take the time to provide me with help. I would have definitely purchased from him, however, since I couldn’t, I’m providing this review. 5-star customer service!”

“As a GC I rely on professionals to work with me to produce the beautiful homes my clients desire. At Taylor's Hearth & Leisure they get it, they are very professional. From the design to the completed project, they worked with us to create a beautiful room for our clients. On time and accountable for the installation, great suggestions, help with timing excellent in every way. From the first call over to Taylor's when Penny answered and was so helpful to our clients, I knew we picked the folks we will be working with for many years to come. We have been working with them since 2013. I have included some of the fireplace pics we have done over the years together with the folks at Taylor's.
