Not only is Andrea a pleasure to work with, her work is magnificent! She and her team built out 9 closets and transformed a spare bedroom into my dream closet/dressing room. I couldn't possibly be happier.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
Linda reached out to me after receiving a quote and designs from another company. We met over the phone for the first time and walked through what i thought would be best in each of the closets based on the needs she shared with me. When we compared the former company's pricing I came in at almost half the $. I was able to build a dream dressing room for her! I can't wait to see it once the pandemic is over.

I loved working with Andrea! She saw things for my closet that I could never see for myself! Given how complicated life has become during COVID - it was amazing how quickly, thoughtfully, and well done everything was. My new closets are amazing.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
Glad to have another happy client! We did several closets for RG in her new apartment in Brooklyn to maximize storage for her clothing, coats and office supplies. Working from home during COVID has changed the needs of many in terms of office set up and storage. I was happy to help her get settled and stay organized with new closets. See before of coat closet and after where I was able to increase both hanging and shelving storage.

I could not recommend Andrea enough - she is professional, organized, and has a real knack for closet design! My project manager on a major renovation recommended that we use California Closets for our apartment; she provided us with some crazy quotes and poor design options. The CC options for two build-in closest, a kids closet, and a walk-in made absolutely no sense and did not maximize our space. I decided to do my own search on Houzz, and thats when I reached out to Andrea. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and listened to everything I wanted before designing our closets. She really made the closets custom to our needs, maximized our space, and made excellent recommendations on all the minor things (i.e. handle color, hanging bar style, etc.). Even more importantly, she was respectful of our budget and made sure to stay on point. On construction day, Andrea was onsite, making sure the install process ran smoothly and ensuring that everything fit perfectly and was level (our ceilings were not, so special cutting had to be done to ensure the custom build-in closets were flush with the ceiling). After day 1, she sent us progress photos, and was in touch with all updates as to what transpired. After a 2 day install, we are extremely happy with the end project - the build-in closets blend perfectly into the apartment, and the kids closets and walk-in look great and are designed to meet our needs.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
I often come in after a client has met with or been advised by another closet company. I rarely agree with others designs as I find they do not delve deeply int the client's needs and how and why they want items to be organized. It was a pleasure helping Lora prepare to move into her newly renovated apartment as she is expecting her first child. We were able to finish ahead of the general contractors as is often the case. I wish her all the best in her new digs.

My husband and I downsized from a house to a pre-war apartment in Manhattan with serious storage issues. Thank goodness for Andrea Gary. I knew I needed re-designs for a few closets and Andrea did an excellent job with those. She then went beyond and designed a perfect little filing cabinet for a space in the kitchen I didn't realize existed and conjured up the perfect coat and outerwear unit for our entryway. Her ideas are on-point and her construction crew is meticulous. She oversaw all aspects of the project and got it done with minimal fuss. Confident and down-to-earth with a great sense of humor Andrea made this organizing project a pleasure. I'm very happy to recommend her services.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
It was a pleasure to work with Maeve on her reorganizing project. I love pre-war architecture but when it comes to storage it is often limited because people in that era just had less stuff than we all do today. I was able to create maximized storage in Maeve's reach-in closets and design a little office unit in between her existing kitchen cabinets with space for a printer, files and a cabinet for supplies. An unused space became an mini-office!

This is the second time I worked with Andrea. The first time was for our 4 story home in Hudson Harbor, Tarrytown and the second time was for my downsizing apartment on the Upper West Side. She had to remove old closet hardware and create a configured space for clothes extensive shoe and boot collections, linen closets and pantry. Her team worked cleanly and efficiently and I was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Kerfuffle to anyone who wants to get the job done right the first time.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
I was happy to help Gloria with her new apartment in Manhattan. Downsizing is not easy and my expertise as an organizer comes in handy when designing closets for someone to accommodate things which would easily fit in a larger home. So nice to work with clients over the years in their different homes.

Andrea is the consummate professional. She pays attention to details but also has an artistic flair that produces a functional but aesthetically pleasing result. I admit that I can be somewhat demanding and like things done perfectly but Andrea handled everything to my complete satisfaction. I love my new dressing room. My clothes haven’t been so well organized and taken care of since I was in the Marines. Andrea is the very best! Love her.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
It was such fun to tailor a dressing room for Terry who is one of the most organized men I have ever met. He had very specific requirements for his dry cleaned shirts and we designed a tower for that sole purpose. The room was half home office and half dressing area so the two areas had to compliment each other. What a great finale!

What an amazing experience! Andrea is super talented, very easy to work with and extremely diligent. She transformed my daughter's closet into a dream and turned a closet in a spare room into a small office! Her contractor was lovely, responsible, worked cleanly and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. She was also present during the entire install which, for me, goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Exceptional experience with Andrea and her team from start to finish!
Andrea captured the vision I had for my and my husbands walk in closets and I could not be happier! I have so much useable and organized space now and everything is easy to access. It's amazing what a great closet can do! It was quick and easy and I feel FREE of clutter! AND it looks beautiful.

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
The challenge with narrow walk-in closets is to find a use for the wall you don't build on. I always try to maximize storage with cleats and hooks for scarves, belts, robes, bags and misc or with pins on cleats for people with large collections of necklaces. I did both for Liz in her closets. Love a happy client! See the before and after below.

Best of the best,
If you ask any New Yorker what the biggest struggle in searching for the right apartment is, they will all agree is closet space. Well worry no more because saint Andrea Gary (I emphasize the word saint because she literally has an art to every closet she touches) is the solution to any closet woes.
I have had the honor and privilege to have Andrea design my closets in two of my New York City apartments. She has an incredible way to make your closet dreams come to reality, specially when working with smaller spaces. Her vision, art and work aesthetic are not only reflected on the work that she does but also on who she is as a person.
Her dedication to organizing and building closets in confined spaces go far beyond anything her clients expect. She dedicated her time to understanding what her clients needs are and getting to know them personally in order for her to meet their expectations.
I can not recommend her more and I look forward to working with her again in my next closet

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
I loved working with Christina on her newest rental. We turned an open office space into a dressing room and stuck to a budget as she wasn't sure how long she would be staying. We were able to maximize her storage by turning a corner and building a unit in front of a window she was not using. I suggested saving money by purchasing a few 4 drawer inexpensive drawer units and turning them back to back to make an island in the center. She cleverly used command hooks to display her bags and necklaces. It turned out beautifully and did not break the bank. See the before and after photos.

I had Andrea design/install a wall unit/closet in my bedroom. I have done many renovations/projects in my apartment and my experience with Andrea was simply wonderful. Andrea is professional, knowledgeable, creative, insightful, responsive, and honest. She is respectful of your space, will let you know her opinion, but she is open minded and not pushy at all. She really caters to your personal needs and you can see her passion for organization! I believe her prices are reasonable and I found the overall experience to be easy and stress free. I would not hesitate to contact her for my next project! Thank you, Andrea!!

Comment from Andrea Gary/Queen of Kerfuffle™:
It was a pleasure to work with Vivian. She had so much wall space and was in dire need of additional storage. We turned her bedroom wall into 2 nightstands and several cabinets for her shoes, boots, folded clothes and backup items. The final product not only provided her with so much space it was aesthetically all she dreamed of. See before and after below.
