I hired Fine Fettle to help organize our homeschool/craft room. It was not very kid friendly/inviting. And every time I passed by it, I didn't even want to touch it. Fine Fettle came in and went straight to work. Helped me get rid of 3 bags of stuff to throw away/recycle/donate! She even redistributed some items to make it look aesthetically better. Now the kids use that room all the time! They reach for their books, go for the crafts and it is all easier to clean up and maintain! I can't wait to use Fine Fettle for other rooms in our house.
My child’s craft room has been a huge mess for years. I bought a fancy drawer system but it never seemed to help. Every time I would attempt to organize the room, I became overwhelmed and ended up doing nothing. I finally realized I needed a professional to help. When we began the process, I was nervous and embarrassed for someone to see how messy the craft room was. You could not even see the table much less do any crafting on it. Jessica dug in immediately and helped me to get rid of things my daughter will never ever use. She made me so comfortable throughout the entire process. Her eye for putting like items together was so cool. In less than 3 hours, Jessica literally changed my life. Once the entire process was complete, I could not believe how good it felt. My daughter loved it! She has been crafting up a storm ever since and has kept to the organization scheme. She seems to really enjoy knowing where everything is. We found all the glue and tape she could never find before. Going forward, I have a better idea of what I need to do to keep this amazing system working for us. I’m an engineer and work from home. I was pretty apprehensive and embarrassed about letting someone come into my home office to help me organize because of the clutter. Jessica assured me that she would help me and made me at ease before she came over. At first, I thought the organizing session was going to be her de-cluttering and organizing my things. It was far better than that though. She came in and talked with me about how I currently organize, what works, and what I don’t like. Most importantly, she shared with me tips and developed a process for me to keep from gathering clutter. After we talked through these ideas, and with her help, I implemented her process for organizing paperwork, mail, design plans etc. The whole time, she would coach me and continue to ask about the process. A couple of times, she tweaked what we were doing based on my feedback. Best of all, Jessica stayed enthusiastic and encouraged me through the whole process. I never received the criticism that I initially feared. 2 weeks after Jessica’s visit, I can truly see improvement in the organization of my office, and I don’t get frustrated looking for plans or other important papers anymore.
