Home In Transition

These ladies were amazing! My basement was a disaster and everytime i went down there I was so overwhelmed I didn't even know where to start .It is not a finished basement so it just became a dumping ground. They helped me get rid of all sorts of things including old paint cans and chemicals. They did the dump run and sorted things into what to keep and what so send to good will and what to sell. Bins are labeled and on shelves so I can actually find things again. I couldn't have done it without you!!

I am normally a very organized person but work full time and am busy with 2 kids so I found the number of boxes piled in my basement as my kitchen reno was winding down overwhelming. Julie & Jennifer spent 3 days sorting, organizing, unpacking (intuitively to the correct place in my cupboards), recommending items to be purged, stockpiling items for the dump and generally getting me back on track! I will definitely recommend them. I only wish I had hired them BEFORE my reno started as well so some of the purging could've happened sooner!

Julie and Jen are pros, thoughtful, quick yet thorough. They made a daunting job of helping me with a major basement clean up - one that was actually quicker than I thought possible and with immediate results. I felt they have an intuitive sense of what can go and stay and what needs a close look before keeping it or moving it on. They even help to recycle, find new homes for things. The two have a magic kind touch and they did a lot of hard work. They came highly recommended to me and I pass on the same.

Julie and Jen did an outstanding job in managing and executing a complicated move involving three separate locations. They packed, unpacked and arranged furniture, hung pictures, stocked kitchen drawers and cupboards and ensured that surplus items found useful homes. Their attention to detail was incredible! Their final bill came in below the estimate. My wife and I would highly recommend the service of Home in Transition.

Julie and Jennifer at Homes in Transition were the perfect team to help my brothers and I clean out my mom's house. Jobs like these can be time consuming and potentially pretty emotional. Julie and Jennifer set the agenda, kept us on track and dealt with all the many details (most of which we hadn't considered). In a move like this, there's lots of "stuff" to get rid of, they looked everything from taking all the clothes to a local women's shelter, arranging for an auction house to pick up anything that could be sold, taking all the old paperwork to a shredder. Their hard work allowed us time to celebrate the times we'd had in that house as we transitioned the house for its new owners. They were so good my brother's hiring them to get their house ready for a renter while he and his family move cities for a new job. They're a top notch team! Easy to work with, efficient and trustworthy.

Until I met with and worked with Jennifer and Julie I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed and paralyzed even by the idea of having to organize, clean and rid my home of years of STUFF in order to downsize and sell my home this spring! They took the physical job decluttering, cleaning and purging OUT of my hands, let me say "yes" to a few things staying, and got rid of the rest!!! They completely "staged' my house with items I had forgotten about and made my home look inviting, clean, simple and organised in 2 days! So grateful!!! I would definately recommend them!
